Okay. That'll be up tonight or tomorrow. I'll have Flashpoint start some conversation and take her to the infirmary. I mainly want to characterize Flashpoint more and give Pan more screen time. what can I say, I like the OCD healer. Does anyone have ideas for what the other TT epics could do? Kathy, Travis, and Al? he's taking them to the east wall. Closest to Corpsemaker's armory. He can start strengthening the wall and then coating it in steel. And then Altermind would have him do the same to riot shields that the guards have had.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that ferring power. Technically there is the chance that the power was spiked, but it shouldn't have been and if it had been, it would've been put in someone, so I think the Tineye being occupied by a kandra is the most likely. Did anyone claim to be a Tineye in any of the faction PM's? To you whom I talked with after the scum left, the code will be the one you mentioned. Use the same plan and the order is of the list above. Use T's code on my first message after the leave of the scum for power and more complex messages. Sorry to everyone else, but the plans can't be given to the kandra and so I can't share them publicly.

Voidus, both the SS/Chi fight and TT plot lines are ready for you. Mare will be listening and be pretty quiet, since Altermind and Strongsteel are talking just fine. Twi, do you want to do the Panacea scene or do you want me to write up a Flashpoint intro for it first?

As Strongsteel and Mare followed behind Altermind, Strongsteel said, "So what's the situation with the other factions in the city? We've heard about Corpsemaker of course but I've also heard about a lot of new Epics in town, Lighthound and Funwards or somethings like that?" He was obviously new. That was an awful butchering of their names. Altermind almost burst out laughing as he thought of the pairings Strongsteel has just mentioned. That crazy happy lady and the arrogant professor? How ridiculous. The only one worse would've been Nighttimes or Funhound. That would be an awful couple. Voidgaze and his spies' reports about the man said that he was brutal and cruel. Funtimes on the other hand, was happy and insane. After clearing his throat to help hold in his chuckles, Altermind replied, "Lightwards, Funtimes, Traveler, and Nighthound. An arrogant necromancer, insane matter manipulator, reserved teleporter, and creepy cruel strength Epic. For now, we have a temporary alliance with them. I met with Lightwards last night, and while he is arrogant and insufferable, he has powerful resources. We have decided to work together against Corpsemaker for now. Two of the Epics working with me are meeting with them now, discussing plans to meet. When it comes down to it, they are just as destructive as Corpsemaker and in the end, will have to be eliminated." Altermind had spent some of the night and morning coming up with ideas of how to eliminate those Epics. He hadn't been too productive yet, but he wasn't going to stop planning. They were undoubtedly figuring out the best way to betray him as well. Soulswitch smiled as he entered the zoo, "Oh doing well, just joined up with an Epic, Penumbra a shadow manipulator like Nightwielder in Newcago, someone that strong's definitely worth joining. So I was hoping to get something a little more combat suited from you this time, got any griffins for sale?" A griffin? He was getting ambitious. The biggest Chimeran SoulSwitch had ever bought before was a skunk/rabbit combination. As Chimera opened his mouth to answer him, a bellowing voice shouted from outside the gate. "WHO OWNS THESE MONSTERS!" A metallic voice boomed. A huge man in full metal armor and wielding a broadsword was yelling at them. He continued yelling, "I am Voidknight! Slayer of monsters, vanquisher of Epics, Knight supreme!" The knight continued. Slayer of Epics? This man was an Epic. SoulSwitch said, "Well I suppose we'd better take this guy out first and then do business shouldn't we Chimera?" The Epic drew his revolver, disappeared and reappeared behind the knight. He shot at him and the bullets bounced off. Suddenly, Soulswitch was pulled to one side and fell on the ground. He seemed to be having difficulty getting up. Chi summoned his wolf warriors and his lions. He called griffins and a couple unicorns. He absorbed for himself the exoskeleton strength of a cockroach. He whipped out his two sabers and charged the knight. His griffins arrived, swooping down. Chi pointed at one and yelled at SoulSwitch, relinquishing his hold on that one to let SoulSwitch take it over. Rumenes landed and charged Voidknight from behind as Chimera took a swing at his neck. He figured that that would be the weakest place. He sent the mental command for one of his lions leap at the man and plunge their claws into him.

I say leave the PM's for reference. So, I take it that Joe jumped into the Tineye's body?
-
We're very good at hindshadowing. Like what I did with a blond Epic in the store with Mel and then making him Electro. Now one of my characters is hunting another of mine.
-
He wouldn't care enough to have a funeral. I'll have him find out the news eventually and he'll be disappointed that he didn't get to kill him, but pleased that Scorch left him for a guy who killed him. It would be almost exactly like that. Only there'd be hallucinations. Ones of freaky sights and sounds and ones of pain.
-
Woah. My jaw seriously dropped when I read that. My only regret is that we never got to have Portland Comic-Con with Funtimes. Exactly. I wouldn't have minded. Only It would've been because Altermind killed him. I thought that too. I thought those ship names were great too. With Scorch's death and his revealing of his true nature as a Kandra, Joe passed me up in rep a ton.

“An Epic you want dead? How unique. In this city, everyone wants an Epic dead. I know several people who want to kill everyone in Thoughtown, because they didn’t pass the test. Others want Lightwards or CorpseMaker dead, because they killed relatives.” The informant said, smiling at Max's request. He went over to a filing cabinet and pulled out one of the folders. “This folder, contains every request someone has made of me. Each of them paid me cash to complete that request. I can hook you up with a Cell of Reckoners that Operates nearby. But doing so will be of considerable risk to me, if the Epics who hire me find out, they could very well kill me. So what can you pay me, for this request?” The man asked. Max hadn't prepared a sum of money. "Everyone has an Epic they want dead, as you said. If you help me kill mine, I'll take care of yours too. If it is anywhere near my capacity, I will kill the Epic you want dead while I take the life of mine too. I will raise a rebellion among the citizens here and we will take away the power that the Epics hold. I've seen it happen. The people need only to get past their fear and then they have nothing stopping them. They are brave, the fear of death is the only thing holding them back. I know people are angry. They hate the Epics. That hate can be a fuel to rebellion. I've seen people stand up before. They only need organization and they need the masses and then they can be successful," Max said. "I can't provide you with a lot of cash, but I can promise the death of your Epic and the revolt of the people. Are you willing to take the first step? You have valuable information, information that could aid the rebellion immensely. You also have the capability of spreading misinformation to the enemy. These Reckoners, while I admit that they do good, don't engage the people. They don't take the necessary steps to improve life, they only take a few." Max waited. He knew his speech would surprise the man. No one ever talked about standing up to Epics. Epics were powerful. He knew it was necessary if they were ever going to break the command that Epics had. If the man insisted, he had cash necessary. He hoped the informant would join him though, because otherwise, he might have to die. If word of rebellion got out, Max could die.

There won't be many since TT doesn't battle often. Most will have minor injuries like burns or, since there was just a battle with Corpsemaker's soldiers, there'll be a couple with gunshot wounds. The infirmary would be it's own building, probably a small doctor's clinic Pre-Calamity. Altermind wants soldiers ready for battle, so he would have old Hospital staff there, ready if needed and a decent amount of supplies. He wouldn't be ready for a lot of soldiers to be put in there though since it's never happened yet. Okay. That works. Sounds good to me. Let's fight this guy. I want a little battle scene. Kobold, if Lightwards's weakness is activated, does he lose control of his Warriors or can he just not create more?
-
Okay, so do you want to bring in a decently strong cannon fodder epic? Chi could offer to give SS a creature for free if he helped fight the guy off. That's just the first idea I had. Oh okay, got it. I intended it to be, so that she could do something, but I left it open. Joe, what do you want to do with Gordon and Max? And Electro's Starscream characterization has begun.
-
Electro had arrived back at the Armory and put Starscream in the hangar since he wouldn't fit in the hallways. He explored the hallways and just wandered until he got a report of two more Epics joining up with Corpsemaker. They sounded pretty useful, though the Murphy guy seemed pretty unreliable. Electro wished that Corpsemaker had been able to recruit only useful Epics. Freeze was powerful and could be of help. This Murphy guy sounded like a lot of trouble. Another report came in that Scorch had finally recruited another Epic. Mundivore was his name and his only power was being invincible. He could be somewhat useful in the right circumstance. Electro was frustrated with himself for joining up with these two lazy Epics. Corpsemaker just sent everyone else to do his work and Scorch was plain lazy. A solider, Lieutenant Ebbirant, or something like that, approached Electro. "Yes, what is it?" He asked. "Sir, Corpsemaker has asked that you go here," the soldier said pointing at a map, "and recruit an Epic named Upgrade. He said to offer anything he wants." Typical. Sending the only diligent person in the place to do some work. "Fine. I'll be back sometime," Electro said. He left the lieutenant in the hallway and went to get Starscream. He took Starscream and rode his shoulders to the house the map had shown. He had brought his soldiers with him. He didn't trust Corpsemaker enough to leave them at the armory. He'd probably use them for some other task he didn't want to do. As Starscream was walking, a woman crossed his path. "Move, lady!" Electro yelled. He shot an electric beam, but she moved just in time. She seemed slower than most people, sluggishly like she was a zombie. Strange. Electro had Starscream shoot a missile in her general direction, but didn't intend for him to hit her. Stupid humans. He finally approached the building where Upgrade lived. He got off of the robot and knocked on the door. "Upgrade! My name's Electro and I'm here to offer you a job," Electro yelled through the door. A man opened the door and looked at him. He carried two daggers that looked extremely sharp. "Yes. And what is that?" He said. "Corpsemaker, maybe you've heard of him, big Medusa type of Epic, kills with a look, he wants to hire you. He'll give you whatever you want. See this robot," Electro pointed at Starscream, "you can have stuff like this too. I've also been promised cities. He's willing to give you whatever as long as you help him." Electro proposed. "Cities are good. I'm interested. Bring me to this guy and we'll talk," Upgrade said. "Good. Grab anything you want and let's go." "I have everything I need and what I don't, this Corpsemaker should be able to provide," said Upgrade. Electro stepped behind Starscream and had him lead the way. He stayed on the ground with Upgrade and walked towards the armory. He hoped for a bit of battle soon, the recruiting got boring real quick.

Voidus has it. The broken dish was a hint to the Shattered Plains and the broken trust.
-
Nope. Closer to the correct action, but still the wrong part of the book. The broken dish clue should help as to which plot line it is. Put all the clues together. Justice comes after.
-
Electro will be out going to recruit Upgrade sometime tomorrow so he could do it. Chi could do one, going with SoulSwitch. Any if the Thoughttown NPC-ish people are up for it. Or Mare, but I guess Strongsteel won't fight. Which brings up the question, why is he such a nice and considerate guy? He isn't a gifter and he uses his powers somewhat. Is he just a good guy to start with?
-
About Electro being a Starscream with Starscream, I like that a lot. I'll begin building that up.
-
Joe, would you mind posting with Gordon when you get the chance? Chimera and Altermind are up.
-
Panacea's eye twitched and Altermind could almost see her mind trying to figure out how to heal anyone who was hurt, but still accepting his condition. With a smile, she finally said, "Yes, sir. Allies only. I understand." Altermind would have to be careful with her. She would heal the enemy if it came to it and that would only prolong the battles. "Good. I'm glad we understand each other," Altermind said. Strongsteel began to speak again. "Done."I'd best start strengthening defences I suppose, where should I start? If you have wounded Pan will want to take care of them." This one worked quickly. Altermind liked that. "I would appreciate such work. The walls on the eastern border are the most important. I will show you where to begin and I'll have someone show Panacea the infirmary. There aren't many soldiers injured, but they do exist," Altermind replied. "Flashpoint, come to the Planning Room and show the woman in a nurse's outfit where the infirmary is," Altermind said over his mobile. "Yes, on my way," Flashpoint said. He really was becoming more independent and braver. He didn't show much subservience at all anymore. Altermind couldn't decide whether he liked that or not. "Flashpoint is my right hand man. He's also the head of security and a minor electric Epic who can fly. He'll take you to the infirmary," Altermind told Panacea. "Mare and Strongsteel, if you'll come with me, I'll show you where to begin work and we can discuss strategy." Mare nodded and Altermind had his hallucination move towards the door. He followed close behind it. Flashpoint arrived right then and Altermind gestured to Panacea. The electric Epic nodded and walked towards her. As Chimera walked back to the dangerous animals area, he heard yelling from the front entrance of the zoo. "Chimera! It's SoulSwitch! I'm here on business!" He sighed and then headed towards the entrance. SoulSwitch had bought a couple of Chimerans from him in the past. The Epic could take over their minds and control them. Chi always felt uneasy about turning over his creatures to the man. He was never sure that he would retain control or that the Epic took care of them. He usually gave simple rat combinations to the man so that he could spy. Chi nodded to the guards and they let SoulSwitch in. "SoulSwitch, how are you?" Chimera greeted his customer. He always found that business proceedings went better when he was cheery. Argo stood behind him just in case though. Kyrie had headed back to her patrols, but Rumenes, a hawk who had been enlarged and given the legs of a gorilla, while keeping his talons, soared above, ready to swoop down at Chimera's call. "What can I do for you today?"
-
Wrong plot line.
-
Still no. But the book is correct. A broken dish relates to this in multiple ways.

As a show of goodwill and to eliminate an inactive, I'm going to vote Peng. If he isn't showing up, he's not helping us at all. And when he did show up, he just lurked.
