Altermind needed to call a council. There were things to discuss, people to introduce, and plans to make. After he told Flashpoint of Scorch's death, he sent out to the security Epic and the guards who were near the other Epics a message to meet in the Planning Room in ten minutes. He arrived after only Al. The greasy man was sitting at the table with one of his ever-present sausage sandwiches that contributed to his large girth. As he swallowed, he said a quick hello. Altermind nodded and took his seat in his large chair that was just shy of being a throne. It was large and soft and extremely comfortable. It sat at the head of the table in the back of the room. The others began to come into the room, by pairs and by themselves. "Hello everyone. There are some people here you may find unfamiliar," Altermind said once everyone arrived. "I have news to share, but first, introductions. Here, you Epics all carry equal weight and your suggestions do as well. Share your thoughts and we'll get through this less painfully." Altermind added a small auditory hallucination of his voice becoming a little louder to make sure it was heard throughout the room. "I'll get this done real quick. If you have to add more to your description, do so when I am done speaking. Flashpoint," he gestured, "can emit small electric pulses and fly. He is head of security and my right hand man. Sightline, who is gone on a mission currently, is a teleporter and has extremely good vision. He'll most likely be wearing a blindfold. Currently, he and Voidgaze, a Resurrection Epic who can control white objects, are meeting with the Empire of Light to discuss our alliance. Al here creates this food. Kathy is our fire Epic. Travis is a photographer human. He has research on other Epics." Altermind explained why a human was at their meeting. "These three on the end are new. Panacea, Strongsteel, and Mare. A healer. One who can strengthen things and coat them in steel. Mare can create fanged shadow horses. I believe that's every-" he was interrupted as a call came over his mobile. Exasperated, he answered it, "What?" He barked. The soldier explained that there was an Epic who was heading towards the building right now. He had caused all the guards to feel intoxicated and they had been unable to stop him. Altermind was about to tell the assembled group when a man with long, black hair strode in. "My name is Intervention. I'm here to join you," he said. "Perfect," said Altermind, sitting in his chair. He was tired of so many Epics. They all wanted the spotlight and their own power. "We were just introducing ourselves." "I heard," the man said. He walked up to the table and took an empty seat, keeping a hand on his staff. "I can intoxicate others and full glass with alcohol. I've killed my share of cruel Epics. I'm here to help you. Corpsemaker sounds just like the dictators I hate."

I love it! Both the Cocoa Puffs stories and the shipping. Yes, Altermind becomes whiny and grumpy when he thinks that all other Epics are arrogant and want power. He doesn't see those qualities in himself though. I left it open for whoever. And so you Empire people and Joe know, I'm planning on having Sightline and Voidgaze teleport back in the middle of the meeting. Voidus, oh I see. So it's kind of inconvenient then?

So kind of like an Atium Misting?

Okay. I'll write up that scene and Chi's next. I'm not sure if I'll get it done tonight or tomorrow though. I'm also working on Storage and Smoke Bomb's and Darkest Hour's bios.

Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets

Hmm I don't think so. Wilim was excited. After so long of being told he was nothing, after so long of feeling worthless, only escaping when he could run at noon, he finally was celebrated. He and his glowsap had played an instrumental role in discovering the convicts. The last two had gone on some crazy running and fire burning spree through the forest. He had been very tempted to run after them and only just stopped himself in time. He didn't need to run anymore, though he realized. Now that he knew he could help people, he didn't have to run and be alone to feel comfort. -
What are you talking about, Voidus. I definitely did not spell that wrong. I honestly think it would be hilarious if you did that. Twi, okay. I just didn't know if you wanted to have her heal some patients or what.
-
Cool! I'm excited to try this. Yeah. Once Twi says how she wants to do her Panacea scene, I'll work from there. I'll have Altermind announce it to his guards who will tell the Epics.
-
yeah. Sightline needs to set up the meeting. I think I'll have Intervention come into Thoughttown soon. Twi, I plan on having Altermind set up a conference to introduce the new guys and talk about Scorch's death and talk about the meeting with the Empire. I don't know how you want to do Panacea's scenes. I think Sightline and Voidgaze could come back in the middle of the conference and explain the meeting they set up. If you want, I can do some of Sidestep's scenes. I don't think I want to take on another character, regardless of how cool he is, but if you want him to be a partial NPC where I do some of the scenes form his Pov And the other times he's just an NPC in Refill or Zip's posts. What do you think? I'm not attached to the idea, so if you don't like it, that's fine. They're both fun and I especially love seeing their sass with Lightwards. I don't know which I prefer though. They both involve the other, so I don't know if I could choose.

We have to spread the madness. That is a brilliantly awful curse. Your talent is to play the piano badly, but all the pianos were broken by Alcatraz. I wish to travel the world. -
Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh, that would've made a big difference. It could've gone either way. Yeah, I figured that would hurt you. No doc to plot in. I just thought that one of you would've made a code and sent it out. Yeah. It would've been a lot closer And probably could've gone either way at that point. Thanks for ending it quickly. -

Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets

Double post because of the very different nature of this post and because I don't know when someone else will post. I don't want to waste more time. I have a confession. I didn't use all three of my Glowsap uses until last cycle. I never scanned Luce. (which if you had carefully read Joe's post, you would've known, since I couldn't send him a message and use glowsap that cycle.) I wanted to get the info out there while seeming to be useless for the Convicts to kill. It worked, it seems. With my last use, I scanned Raze last cycle. For the first time, I finally got back a Convict result. I wanted to see what suspicions Raze brought up. I now believe that Tryel is our last Convict. If not, Ash is. We have the numbers to make this work. it is 4-2 currently and will be 2-1 next cycle. Game's up, fellas. You did well. -

Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets

I'd like to see Ash defend himself before I put a real vote on him. Trust me. I know what I'm doing. -
Correct. But I like dueling with Observer for fun. I don't actually care much about Yolen. Nalthis 6 Scadrial 14 Sel 2 Yolen 11 First of the Sun 2

Correct, but Hoid is here to Ruin you. I may or may not want to duel for once too.

Don't feed the ideas. Unless you enjoy not sleeping.

Altermind will bring Flashpoint, Sightline, Strongsteel, Pan, and Mare. Maybe Voidgaze if Edge wants. If Intervention joins up, he'll come too and now I'm having him join up soon, since I want Altermind to have him make Lightwards and crew slightly drunk. Yeah. Whenever you want to set it up works for me. That's actually a great limitation. His Human name may or may not also have been Dallin Ar. Well I'm now curious to see how Sam would respond to Altermind.

Yeah! Finally. Which means that Aonar and Joe are clean as well. I'm beginning to be more suspicious of Ash. I think he may be another convict. -
Here's Empathy's bio: Epic Name: Empathy Human Name: Edward Pythor Weakness: <PM'd to the GM> Primary Power: Linking: Empathy can link two people together so that any feelings one experiences, the other does as well. Emotions, pain, et cetera. Both people have to be near Empathy when he links them. The link isn't affected by distance. There isn't a limit to the amount of links he can make. Epics can only be attached to other Epics. Secondary Power: Empathy can create pain in a person's knees which causes them to bow to him. Passive Power: Ressurection. Within a mile radius, whoever is feeling the strongest emotion, Empathy will come back to life next to them. There is an hour delay. Appearance: A wicked grin is almost always plastered on Empathy's face. He has very curly, red hair that he keeps short. He has bright green eyes and is very pale. He wears combat boots with cargo pants and a leather jacket. Age: 22 Home City: Los Angeles Weaponry: Daggers. He has at least four knives on him at all times. One in his left boot, another at his waist, one in his jacket, and one in his cargo pocket.

I like those a lot. Lightwards's can bring whoever he wants. Altermind will be doing so. Yes, once you set it up with Sightline. It doesn't have to be after sunset, but it can be. This is who I'm adding instead of Transfer: Storage: Can store anything he touches in another dimension and later release them. Can you say Shardblade? I finally had to make a list of who was in Thoughttown. There are 14 characters, 13 are Epics.

Granted. You get a vicious Axehound puppy that has a habit of eating toes. I wish for Nighthound's death. -
Nalthis 5 Scadrial 14 Sorry, Observer, but Roshar is safe now. Sel 2 Yolen 16. Hoid's world? Duh it should win. First of the Sun 4 Roshar 20

Sure. I'll make so that a spy informs Altermind of what Epics have been recruited so that they know. Both. But it's more that they have a lot of middling powerful Epics with a couple of really strong ones. Corpsemaker's has a few very strong ones, so, on average, they have more power per Epic.
