Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I don't trust Aonar. I just am inclined to trust him more than some others. I've already admitted that I'm not sure that that's a good idea. I don't plan on voting for Aonar yet, but I'm not claiming his innocence. I do believe that, for now, he serves us better alive than dead. Whether its Joe or Navor we lynch, I don't care. Those two are both very suspicious. If Aonar, who I don't find very suspicious, wasn't going to be in the tiebreaker, I would retract my vote so as to leave it up to chance. I would like to say though: If I die this cycle, take a good look at Joe. -
so how does he plan on teleporting out of the museum and why is he not freaking out? Wait. If Altermind created an auditory hallucination of Lightwards's voice for his Warriors, he could command them? :) Twi, if you get a Pan post up, I'll have Altermind inform Flashpoint of Scorch's death and then we could react to that. Or, you could write it in as Altermind coming over Flashpoint's mobile after Pan has looked around for a bit.

I Don't know if Aonar's just good at manipulating people or what, but I find myself trusting him more and more. I'm not so sure that's a good thing though. I will vote Navor for this cycle. His plan is interesting, but since Werm was already killed and found with silver charms, I doubt there are any more at all. His neglect of that fact bothers me. -

Isn't Sightline's weakness glasses? Welcome! Glad to have you join us. Ooh, interesting. I like it. And as joe said, Teleporters, Teleporters everywhere. There's what, four now? Thoughttown is a thriving community in Portland with only the smartest individuals. There is consistent electricity, water, food, and protection, unlike most other places in Portland. The Thoughttown Coalition has a lot of Epics. They used to have a large advantage in numbers, but recently, the Wackos have been attracting all the new Epics. Thoughttown could use a boost of power here. I'm excited to see Wes and Remington.

Yes, Chi can gift the ability to mind-control one of his creations and the ability to absorb a trait.

As Max rushed into the south room, he looked out the window, ready to fire, he saw three soldiers creeping towards his previous location. He watched as the first soldier went down with the sound of three bullets. The two soldiers looked up at the roof and, presumably, seeing Gordon, began to shoot. Two shotgun blasts went off. That must be Kyle. Both soldiers dropped dead. "Max! the Soldiers are all down, and the Officer is running north. Try and-" Max heard Gordon call. Max headed for the front door, north, as Gordon yelled again, "Yeah nevermind." Max returned to where Kyle had been shooting from and saw him getting back into his wheelchair. "He escaped?" Max asked, knowing full well what the answer was. "The six are dead, now if you get me in contact with Reckoners, I'll kill the others you want dead too." CorpseMaker turned as Electro walked into the room with Upgrade following behind. Starscream was in the hangar, with half of Electro's soldiers. The other five were behind Upgrade. "You're back, good. And you brought someone. Even better. Congratulations on your promotion. You're being elevated to Second in command. Scorch got himself killed today. Now then, who's the knife?" Corpsemaker said. Good. Corpsemaker was finally beginning to appreciate him enough to realize his worth. Scorch was dead? Already? Electro panicked inside for a moment before he regained control of himself. He knew he would have to kill Corpsemaker or, until then, serve him as best he could. "This is Upgrade. Upgrade, meet your new employer, Corpsemaker," Electro replied.

Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets

I find myself agreeing with Aonar. I also found Kas's arguments to feel somewhat off. That was obviously wrong, but Ash and Joe are two others that I think feel suspicious. I haven't had much time this weekend and I apologize, but tomorrow on, I should have much more time. For now, I'll wait. -
Yeah. Lightwards and Nighthound particularly would turn Max away. Those two are ones he would love to see dead. He wouldn't even bewailing to work with Thoughttown. He will only work with a couple of Epics at most and even then, they have to fairly nice. Panacea mightbe an option, but the rest of Thoughttown wouldn't.Only Flashpoint, Mare, and Strongsteel would even have a chance. Good. Electro would be particularly pleasing. Argh!

I don't think one experienced player can really be ranked higher than another from past games. The Convicts are going to be looking for who's a threat now. Not at who was a threat in the past. And since you're asking the question,I have to ask the same of you, Kas. Why didn't they kill you first? I going to vote for Ash. His immediate jump on a vote for me just feels so off. Granted, he can be erratic, but that was still very abrupt. -
Chi wiped the blood off of his blade, still furious at Voidknight for killing his Chimerans. SoulSwitch, in the griffin's body, landed next to him and reverted back to his human state. "Well, that was exciting. Who did you piss off? I thought you were supposed to be a noncombatant?" SoulSwitch said. "I have no idea why that man chose me to come and fight. I haven't left the zoo's boundaries for the past month or so. I only sell some of my Chimerans and I sell those impartially," Chimera responded. "Thank you for your help, SoulSwitch. As a reward for your help, this griffin is yours. You helped protect me and my creatures and I owe you. His name is Tyncles. He is yours to use as you wish. Please do not leave this one to die. He is a noble creature." Chi stuck his hand out to shake Soulswitch's. "Alright, Max was it? The first group of people I want you to take out are these 7. Then I can hook you up with the Reckoners." Gordon said. Max nodded. Six soldiers with somewhat outdated uniforms, moving almost robotically, and one in a modern uniform who seemed to be the leader. As Gordon talked, he pulled another rifle out from behind one of his cabinets. "Kyle, there are shotguns and grenades in the stairwell closet. If you'd come with me, I need to go upstairs. Max, where will you be?" "I'll take the northwest window here," Max said. That was where he'd be able to target three soldiers at once. "I'll rotate to the south, once they're taken care of. You two cover the north and east. Do you want the leader for questioning?" Max moved towards the window as the other two headed for the stairs. Leaning against the wall, he breathed in and shot the window out. The shattered glass flew as he took aim and dropped the first soldier with a bullet to the neck. The surprise of the broken window wore off and return fire flew back. Max crawled under the windowsill to the other side. Standing up, he shot two bullets for the left most soldier. He fell, dead, from the burst of bullets. That left only the center soldier. Max ducked as shotgun shells flew into the room. One piece of shrapnel hit him in the left shoulder. He cried out and jumped up to the left, shooting both handguns out the window. One bullet flew into the air past the soldier and the other took him in the elbow. One more shot finished him off. Max ripped a piece of his shirt and used it to bandage his shoulder as he went to the next room.

Okay, that's what I thought. It's very good. After the current fight and Gordon hooks up Max with the Reckoners, Alice could meet him. Or while he is contacting the Reckoners. So pretty soon. I don't know about Remington though. Max's whole goal, if you remember is to eliminate all Epics. He used to fight by helping the civilians, but now he fights with revolution. While Electro is his immediate goal, he hates Epics and would never contact ones as powerful and hateful as the Empire's. He will only be willing to work with Chi because he is a gifter and thus is not a horrible person. As Joe said, Upgrade does just that. Enhances Epics. Thanks. I did my best. He already has. I'm just waiting for Corpsemaker receive Upgrade. Can I please request that one of my characters gets to take one of Lightward's lives? I want to help give him what he deserves. Twi, may I ask, how come Funtimes becomes so lucid and sane when she threatens Lightwards? Is it her anger or something more? Voidus, what do you think about Soulswitch joining Chi?

Flashpoint and Panacea continued in silence as both thought about Scorch. Flashpoint led her down the last hallway to the infirmary, holding the door open for her. "The infirmary, Miss Panacea," he said with a mock bow. The infirmary was a couple of old classrooms with the walls taken out to make it into one big room. There were chairs from what had once been a dentist's office in Thoughttown that had been moved here. There were a couple of doctors and a few nurses. They had been hospital workers at the main hospital in Portland who lived in the area which became Thoughttown. There wasn't the full supplies that should exist in a hospital. Altermind wanted his guards in fighting condition, but most never got badly injured. There were lots of bandages and antiseptic. There were some ice packs, a couple IVs, and a lot of pain medication. If needed, Altermind could always send for guards to ransack a hospital for more. "Sir, there's someone here for you. He says he's from Corpsemaker and he won't talk to anyone but you. I think he's an Epic. Our guns jammed when we raised them and our belts broke," the Eastern gate captain reported over Altermind's mobile. Telling Strongsteel to keep up his work and assigning a guard to escort Mare to her quarters, Altermind headed back the short distance to the East Gate. When he arrived, there was a man standing outside the gate. He held a box and was looking contemptuously at the guards. Altermind strode up, casting a hallucination a few feet to the left. "Who are you?" he asked. "Why are you bothering my guards?" The man just held out his package and as Altermind's hallucination appeared to take it, but it was Altermind's telekinesis, the Epic grinned and walked away. Altermind was suspicious, so he used his powers to open the box from a distance. No explosion went off. Nothing happened as far as he could see. He approached cautiously, and glanced away quickly. He told his guards to burn it, but to do so from a distance. The package had disturbed him greatly. So far as he knew, Corpsemaker didn't have any illusionists in his employ so the package had to be real. The man was brutal and unforgiving. Altermind had so many mixed feelings about the box. Corpsemaker had shown his power, saying that he didn't need more workers. He had shown his ruthlessness. Altermind felt remorse at the loss of someone he had known for a long time, but at the same time, pleasure at what happened to those who abandoned him. He did regret though, that he hadn't been the one to kill Scorch. The head of the impulsive fire Epic, sitting in a nondescript box, would stare up lifelessly at him in his dreams.

Twi, have you read Mistbornrpg? This sounds a lot like a Soother. I like his character, despicable as he is. So true. I really like the idea of epics rebelling against Epics. don't forget Chimera.

Sorry, I don't have much time right now. I should be able,e to get on again later today, though. Ash, why did you jump on a quasi-vote for me so quickly? That was weird to me. Also, no one said anything so far, but my vote isn't in the write up... -

Fate breaker, Thoughttown is the obvious choice for you. The only area in Portland with stable electricity, water, and food supplies. A full, armed guard and policing force is ready to protect you. Equipped with many Epics, Thoughttown is a good choice for moving undertakers and children. There are hallucinations of many fun things that can be given to children. Little Max could enjoy a cotton candy land for real. Join Thoughttown today! Altermind wants YOU!

Quick Fix Game 3: Shadowed Secrets

Sorry guys. This is around the time I'll be most active. Today I'm going to be busy, so this will probably be my only post. I may manage to get one or two more in,but not until way later. I'm going to start off with a vote on Joseph. He is experienced and, what? There's no hard feelings from LG8, what are you talking about? Wilim was listening to Snipe continue his arrogant rants. He shot a glance at Araris, seeing what he thought of the condescending man. Wikis stayed to listen, only because he had nothing better to do at night. He itched to run, to feel the wind in his face, but he knew he had to constrain it. Running made him feel free. He tended to run at midday, so that there could be no argument made that he was running at night. The Shades scared him, but he loved running more, so he was careful, but he still ran. -
Well,I had a Pretty long post written up here and the I lost it. A basic summary: Flashpoint not being too much like an Epic, im claiming that he hasn't used his powers a lot recently. Nightmare has her dark moments. In Corpsemaker's group, there is also Streetwise, Upgrade, and Murphy. Check out their bios. Thought town consists of Altermind, Flashpoint, Psy-Fi(on hiatus), Kathy, Travis, Sightline, Voidgaze, and Big Al. Recent additions are Night-Mare, Panacea, and Strongsteel. Check out their bios as well. Chimera is an epic who can combine animals into new creations. He is a gifter and works by himself for now. He sells some creations to other Epics. He may end up joining the Black Fist, a rebellion beginning by my Human character, Max.

You're right. For some reason, it is weird to see you as Earl Greyback. Thanks. I know it's a lot though.
