Alright. Alv. I’m going to go with that for now, as with the things I’ve learned this cycle, I’ll probably end up voting for Rae or Alv. I’m not discounting Crimsn for now either.

Can you share your target in an oblique way? Did you see my post about sharing your trusts and suspicions? Anyone who knows your role should be able to use that to learn something.

I know of a claimed village role that could’ve been the reason behind Crimsn surviving. Not sure how much I trust the claim, but it’s there.

We all know that Orlok doesn’t believe in either of those principles. Compulsion defines his rule.

It didn’t do it the way you expected. To keep it vague, I won’t say much more. But look at what happened there. Also, I’d like to hear more about your suspicions and trusts as that would help me see how you used your role without you making it clear. Ah as I expected but didn’t hope. As promised, here are my top suspicions, not necessarily in order: Rae. I can’t explain why, especially since her voting seems to make her lean village pretty strong. Itiah has even stronger evidence for being village so I’m discounting this one. This cycle has also changed my opinion of him anyways. I’m seeing more and more reason to suspect Arand as others share. Crimsn has been sticking out to me lately. And lastly, a healthy suspicion of Ada and Alv is always good. I’d place Alv higher on the suspicion list than Ada though.

Hmm. Understood. Just to be completely clear, does your PM have the word “yourself” in the title? I don’t think either you or Steel is a good choice for a lynch. I’ve gotten pretty village vibes from both of you this cycle. While the suggesting of yourself for the lynch is something I’ve definitely done as evil and pulled off, I’m not inclined to really test that at this stage. I propose neither of you is lynched. Concerning the validation, was it the difficult or the simpler one? It may affect my vote. I’m interested in this recent focus on Arand for sure. I’d also like to hear more from @Cadmium Compounder Because he’s been quieter than normal this game. Also, I’ll echo the call for Araris. I’ve been impressed with his analysis recently(especially when he basically caught me) and I’d like to hear his thoughts. Once I get confirmation from Elandera about my question above, I’ll place a vote.

Let me clarify, sorry. Jon was a Disciple if Herowannabe. I’ve heard of another player claiming Disciple of [insert prominent old player here], not necessarily Hero’s.

Nope. No answer, but I guess High priest did. He’s actually the third such role I’ve heard of. Jon and I never communicated, so I actually didn’t know he was that disciple.

Wow, 2 spammers in as many cycles. That’s impressive. I have a theory, crackpot though it may be, that it may have actually been some type of redirect. Jon didn’t seem like a high priority target for the spammers to kill. So maybe the hit on Roadwalker was a redirect of their kill. It does make me way more confused about why he didn’t say anything to protect himself... I am disappointed about PMs though. They were just getting good. Hey, trust is a good thing. Also, to the person who was able to share evidence of their role to me, I still trust you. Joe’s made it clear to me. Edit: Sorry, meant to edit the last post but now it won’t let me copy the quote. Guest is also my best guess right now. After pinch hitting in the last LG, I’ve now realized how nice it is to start a game at D3 and be able to use the first two days information in hindsight. I forgot how hard D1 is.

My one hesitancy is that Roadwalker has viewed the thread multiple times since being voted on. I've only played one game with them, but they didn't seem like the type of player to just ignore that. I've sent them a PM, just in case they have some role where they can't post in thread.

I agree that mayoring is boring and potentially dangerous, but I strongly disagree with individualism working better. We’ve seen free for alls. They don’t work better. I’ve been adamant on this point for years and I still am: we have to work together to win these games. There has to be trust and coordination. Cautious, yes, but it has to come and the sooner it does, the better.
