Quick Fix Game 37: Black Shadows in T'Telir
Mailliw73 replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
That leaves only Xino and I who are not yet voting for him. Hopefully you realize that if we were a team, we would not have let this happen. Either Xino’s teammate has decided to bus him and gain the trust he needs for the next four kills or Xino isn’t a Shadow. Considering that if there’s a mislynch today, the Shadows have won, I don’t see why they’d risk so much on bussing, pushing their victory much further back and on much harder circumstances with just the one remaining CadCom has gone higher up my suspicions list as well as Kidpen and Rand. The order I’d lynch in is that followed by Xino and then Joe. @A Joe in the Bush @xinoehp512 @Randuir Tell me if I’m crazy, I just don’t want to lose this yet. -

On a second glance, this isn’t as clear as I thought it was. I thought I had already shared that I had encouraged votes on CadCom to see if Steel would be willing to switch from Alv. I wanted to see if CadCom was a likely teammate for Steel. -

Well, Xino and Alv are the only two who didn't vote for Steel, aside from me. Joe. I just don't have anything better. Steel was my best lead, but I don't feel like I actually have an evil read on anyone else, but the votes just point to those two. -

Yeah, I know. I'm not sure who the last one is. -

I will definitely vote. I will probably vote for Joe at least until Alv confesses. I think Joe has been more off this game than normal and I'm struggling for who else I think would be the last Shadow if Alv/CadCom is one. -

Why the auction? Because it seemed fun and I didn’t have enough breath to do anything on my own. Figured someone with other breath could put more use to my 3 than I could and this way, I’d have access to some of their ability as the cost of the breath. I did almost lynch Steel with that agreement from Lum. I mostly agree with rath still. Alv and then cadCom would be my suspicions, but CadCom isn’t as high anymore now that steel’s dead. Kidpen would also be a suspicion for an inactive Shadow, maybe Xino too. -

I dropped off the vote, but didn’t add a new one because I didn’t think Steel would have that many Breath and I was going to bed. -

Fair enough. I’ll admit part of that was my doing. I wanted to see if Steel would jump onto a CadCom lynch if that was an alternative or if he’d avoid that, leading me to believe they’d be on a team together. I’m still not sure. I’ll take my vote off to see that there’s a lynch. CadCom -

Huh? I don’t see that anywhere. The last vote on CadCom was Alv and that was a while ago. Nothing recent has been in defense of Steel that I can see. -
The girl was definitely skaa. No noble woman, young as she may be, would act so pitifully disgraceful. Especially in public! Laila turned back briefly as the girl shouted an apology. Everyone in a twenty yard radius turned at the outburst. Now everyone was glancing at Laila. Normally she adored attention, but when half the attention was from dirty skaa men, she did not want to be in the middle of it. And now she'd have to address the child in one way or another. Laila Rioted most of the closest people's sense of adulation and adoration. She would use this to her advantage. She went over to the child and whispered. "Little skaa should be more careful. Especially with powerful people." She Rioted the child's feelings of gratitude and joy as she breathed out her threat. Then she dropped a clip into the child's lap and smiled at those watching. They watched with smiles as their wonderful, generous, kind Lady Leurange comforted a poor child. She gave them her most gracious smile as she walked away. Lord Ruler, those skaa men gave her the chills. She swore they were always ogling her like she was some streetside whore. At least noble men had the decency to pretend like they weren't staring at her. She knew she was beautiful, and she knew how to play with their perceptions of her, but she didn't present herself for skaa. Hopefully someone would throw a ball tonight, even if they had just ousted Cett's minions. Lord Ruler knew she needed one. @Arraenae

Quick Fix Game 37: Black Shadows in T'Telir
Mailliw73 replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm worried there's some Sart/Rand conspiracy or something where they drive various lynches as aggressive Shadows. I just feel like we might be off somewhere but I don't know where or on who. I need a data point. -

Laila was turning to leave the square and the fool king when a stone hit her thigh. Who? Laila turned her neck in the direction the rock had been thrown and spotted a young girl there, a guilty and apologetic look on her face. Laila couldn't believe it. Whoever this girl was, why would she throw a stone at a lady, and one so obviously higher in status than anyone the girl had ever had in her home? She briefly considered going over and slapping the child, but decided to maintain her appearance of a courtly lady. Laila smiled kindly at the girl and waved. Then she Rioted the little one's feelings of shame and misery. She Pulled hard on the feelings, not caring for subtlety. It wasn't such an overwhelming Pull that the girl would drop to the ground in shock, but it was forceful. Figuring this girl was probably a very low noble or a skaa, Laila Pulled on the girl's hunger in a slower, longer Pull that would start as a growl and then deepen into a real ache. Zinc was the best medicine for an annoyed Lady Leurange. Laila smiled as she resumed her walk away from the square. @Arraenae Wow, that'd be quite the split personality.

Quick Fix Game 37: Black Shadows in T'Telir

That makes it Vote Count:CadCom (2): Maill, SartAlvron (1): SteeldancerSteeldancer (4): Rath, Joe, Randuir, CadCom @Kidpen Hey, I see you! What do you think about literally anything this game? -
Laila Leurange snorted as the new "king" announced the latest army to attack Luthadel. The fool, what had he expected after toppling society with that skaa girl? Elend Venture was such a snob while managing to multitask as a bookworm with more ideas in his head than words he'd ever spoken. Laila had never failed to see him in some corner of a ball, nose shoved so deep into a book, she was sure he left snot on the pages. He held his nose so high in the air–a side effect of being a Venture–that everyone could see up to his brain. He'd once asked her to dance, likely after an order from his father to be more social, and it had been the absolute worse dance of her life! Elend had stumbled over her feet and barely managed not to fall flat on his face when he caught his toe in a fold of her dress once. And now this was her king? What a joke of a kingdom this had become once the Lord Ruler had died. Laila refused to believe that the Lekal boy had somehow commanded a whole army of koloss and was marching them to attack his home. Koloss? They were brutes, not even human. How would Jastes control them? He was nothing like the Lord Ruler. Magnificence, he held little with his fleeting personality. Handsomeness, he had only when she'd drunk more than she should've. Wealth, only from his parentage and that would likely run low once his father died and he didn't inherit. Laila laughed at the miserable skaa and merchants around her. She was made of more than that; she was created by the Lord Ruler himself to be better than them. The skaa could fear children's stories of koloss, but she would not. She was noble. You didn't miss it. Fifth added it after he added me to the Player List.

Quick Fix Game 37: Black Shadows in T'Telir
Mailliw73 replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
CadCom, Elandera claimed two breath to me last night. Rath, I agree almost 100% with your team guess, which is kinda freaky to me. Steel and CadCom are top two right now for me. Alv is Alv. Alv flying under the radar is weird? That’s like the perfect description of his play style. I wanted to see that too, but didn’t want to point it out because if Steel knows, it’s pointless. Also, he wasn’t under attack seriously till the end of the cycle when he was no longer on, sadly, as I wanted to see the same reaction. Lum trusted me D1 and then based off of my vote for Ark and CadCom’s supposed working with me began to suspect me. -

Mine’s been stated a couple times. Lum won the auction from D1.
