What about HH?

Any reason here? The only one I've seen so far is that she voted Bard and Bard was killed. I'd also be open to a Xino lynch.

Honestly, most of my votes are based off gut reads that i have to then go back to in order to find the reasons why. Considering the length of time it took me to do so yesterday, I won't be doing it today. HH had a weird 180 switch off of Araris which he explained to me as just coming to understand the lynch better. Rath, I'm less suspicious of, but he'd be another I'd be okay lynching.

Agreed. Obviously it’s more ideal for you to get results back and we have a lynch that a good percentage agrees on. Ultimately though, not losing is more important than you getting a result. I’d at least encourage you to be on close to rollover to change if necessary. (Ninja’d by Fura) These last couple games have taught me so much paranoia that I’m worried none of our lynch targets are even evil. CadCom is giving me more of a village vibe as the day goes on, I don’t see the case against Rae, and Coop just showed up. I’d like to vote for HH or Rath, but I also won’t let the elims bandwagon on Elend. If anyone is willing to change with me, I’m open to do that.

So, @Devotary of Spontaneity And @Lumgol, I do hope you realize that this is what you did to the village last LG. The votes are split enough currently that we could lose this game right now. I really don’t see the case against Rae except she voted for Bard and Bard died. CadCom’s lynch has more behind it in addition to that. Coop was inactive so I feel like we should let him play the game for a bit. I’d say CadCom, Steel, and maybe HH are my highest suspicions, but Rath and devotary are climbing.

WOAH... Darkness is in a game again...

This one isn't going to be in character. I don't have 5 roleclaims. I have a couple, yes, but nothing crazy. I no longer play as the Maill in days of old. I only actually asked for a roleclaim from a single player. It's not my fault if people trust me.

Again, because I’m using RP, some things get fudged a bit in summary just to make it easier to say. I get what you’re saying. Kinda. I’m not sure what you really suspect me for, so it’d be nice to have that cleared up, or reiterated if you’ve already said it and I missed it. But yeah, I get what the mists post was about, but Wylma isnt going to summarize the whole thing.

Wylma paced the room as she updated Lady Tourange. "You and Ford both expressed some suspicion of Lethir last night via messenger. And now Lethir is dead. Lady, you didn't kill him, did you?" Laila looked furious with the Terriswoman for a moment. Then she calmed herself and Wylma felt the typical surge of peace on her own emotions from her Lady's Rioting. "No, Wylma. Of course I didn't kill him. I may hate skaa, but I still need them." Wylma smiled. She believed her master. She'd been with Laila too long to be caught by her lies. "Another matter, Lady, is the issue of Jumae. He has called you out by claiming that the mists reject you. Now, I don't know what this means, but maybe he'd like to shed some light on the matter if a message was sent." Laila turned serious. "Wylma, what do you know about Cadoxi? He hasn't committed to anything in this search. From my messages, he wasn't willing to share any of his suspects and I haven't heard anything serious from him since the Lord Renaud accused him over a day ago!"

Laila replied, "I thought that was ridiculous. Me, lying? Of course not! It was probably a reference to the former head of my house, Maill, who has this incredible penchant for lying. He was famous throughout the Empire for his lies. @STINK Jumae, any thoughts on the line about you?" Laila then went to take a nap, promising the others, she'd have Wylma study more later.

Bren shook her head as she hung the posters her mistress had made. Lady Tourange was in love with the Lord Ruler and he was dead! And he'd been crazy in the first place... What odd people nobles were.

"Here, my lady, you can see that there was something important that I can't remember anymore. Something about Lethir's suspicion of a missing man when it was clear that the man wouldn't be coming back to share. But I've forgotten the main problem here, my apologies." “Wow.” Wylma said. This Jumae character is very, very adamantly protecting a missing person. Why? Maybe he killed the man already?" "And why would a tie be so bad? It would force the infiltrators to tip the scales and reveal their hand. Even no movement would be revealing something." Wylma finished her report. "So, Lady Tourange, as you can see, there are many points to consider. The reason I suggested the madman for your vote was his hatred for Lord Penrod. It manifested at the perfect time to cause others to follow and was the tipping point towards his death. The entire speech about his accusation was wrong. But, milady, I forewarn you that it is only an initial impression, and, as such, may be fallible. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to sleep that i might be prepared to aid you on the morrow." Laila dismissed the Terriswoman and closed her eyes. What had the woman even been saying? There was so much involved in what she has postulated and contrived. Changing into her nightgown, she dismissed all the servants and set them on a watch. There were killers about.

Laila sighed. “Bring Wylma here. She’s much better at academics and analyzing.” Wylma was fetched and began going through the day’s happenings. “I apologize Lady Tourange for the lateness of the hour that this happened. It took longer than expected to analyze everything.” “This vote was totally missed by your lady, pardon my frankness, but if you had seen it, I don’t believe you would have voted for De’tess. This brings up suspicion concerning Cadoxi as he was the first to join another's Accusation.” “Secondly, Lord Penrod has never stopped pointing at Ark even though he’s trying to vote for Aname.” “There’s always another Joe.” Not sure why she said that, Wylma shrugged and moved on. “I agree with Lord Penrod here. We can use the Mistborn, though we can’t trust them. I would encourage your ladyship to accept any messengers from these Mistborn that we may use them to further the cause of finding the infiltrators.” Wylma made sure the signs went up around the city: Mistborn, contact Lady Tourange to aid in the search for the infiltrators. “Wow.” Wylma was out of time so she encouraged Laila to vote for Zane/Steel. Joe.

Laila was confused. Hadrian has thrown a terrible ball, but a traitor? She wasn’t so sure, but everyone else seemed to be lining up to kill the man. It almost seemed like it’s own conspiracy even if they did need to kill someone or the “king” would die. Just as the man named Jumae had reportedly denounced those suspecting Finn, Laila now denounced those fools trying to kill one of the few nobles left. It was a skaa conspiracy! Those idiot servants. Why did Elend think they deserved an opinion in this investigation? They’d turn it into a witch-hunt.

The legend of the Drake of Marshalls seemed a bit trumped up to Laila. She’d never heard of this guy. Probably another story like Koloss invading and skaa Mistborn. But the message was clear: watch for any rogue allomancers in addition to the infiltrators. What a mess this place was. If she thought she’d be able to find a safe way to get to Tremredare, she’d do it. De’Tess seemed a bit disgruntled still about Laila’s accusation earlier. Laila sighed as she heard that report. “I don’t always accuse someone because I believe that they’re certainly a vile creature. Sometimes it’s just to test them and listen to their responses. Lord Ruler knows being blessed with Rioting has taught me well how emotions manifest.” And now there was another claim of allomancy among the skaa? One of the Assembly’s own representatives thought she was a Tineye? Hah. Skaa only thought they could be blessed with powers like allomancy. Ridiculous.

Laila lounged on her bed as messengers kept her updated with the goings-on of the square. “Bern, go talk to Ford ( @Furamirionind) and get an elaboration on this Drake Marshall story. I haven’t heard it before and would like clarification.” When it came to this Finn character, no one had heard from him still. One of the servants, Trami, had been sent to ask Laila why she was accusing the man. “Tell then that I wanted to press him into coming forward if he was still around and if he still cares about the well-being of this city. I don’t even know if we could catch him, since no one seems to know where he is. But I want to do more exploring about him. Secrets aren’t going to benefit us if we don’t know them.”

Lady Tourange dropped her jaw at the report on Aname’s hypothesis. An equal amount of rebels to loyalists? Well, if that were the case, Laila would just leave Luthadel and let the idiots who were rebelling have it. She couldn’t fight half the city! There were also talks of a Finn Seidel, but no one had actually seen or heard from him in days. He hadn’t been found dead; he had just . . . disappeared. Laila sent her servants out to specifically gather more information on this Seidel fellow, she found it intriguing. Lord Ruler, this city is full of fools since you died, but it’s still your city. I want to free it for you.

Okay, sorry, let me clarify. In a doc a few games ago, I set a goal to use mostly RP in a coming game and this is that one for me, so a lot of what I say will be filtered through that lens. I’ll do better to keep what I mean clear from now on though. The original post has Laila’s own thoughts about De’Tess(Rand). The second has what she’d say out loud to the crowd, not wanting to be killed herself and not wanting to provoke someone she has some suspicions towards, slight though they may be.

De’Tess’s finger pointed right back at Laila. How silly he/she(Rand, what gender is De’Tess?) looked, pointing right back at her opposition. Laila realized she also was just beginning to look silly with her own hand in the air, so she brought it down and raised a smile instead. She Rioted De’Tess gently to bring about happier feelings. “Come now,” Laila said. “I wanted to make sure you saw the holes in your proposition. Of course we don’t have to kill you for it. You quickly saw reason and brought out the strongest points, as a loyal strategic mind would.” Laila didn’t think De’Tess was actually a rebel, but as she thought about it, she recognized her own paranoia growing. What if De’Tess was? No. She would not be paranoid. She would continue to be proper and stately. With a final smile and a small wink to the crowd, Laila left, feeling dirty from the amount of skaa she had been around. She returned to her manor to bathe and sent out a couple of servants to keep an ear on the proceedings and report back to her. A bath was always nice after mingling with skaa. She smiled, genuine this time.

Interesting. I guess we’ll see what Fifth has to say. The ball had been an utter disappointment. If Laila was the Head of her own House, she’d have thrown her own ball just to show the Penrod idiots how it should be done. No skaa, first of all. More eligible bachelors, second (though none could hold a candle to the Lord Ruler, she needed some gentlemen in her life). And less somber music, third. Laila woke up to gossip about the fight in the city last night. Apparently there had been thieves and Coinshots and police and special scissors Ann getting tangled up in different combinations. The story was different every time she heard it though, so she couldn’t be bothered too much by the distress. At least this gossip was real, unlike that Koloss garbage Lord Venture was spreading. When she went out for the day, she saw crowds of people accusing each other of being traitors to the king. Oh Lord Ruler! Laila knew people knew of her disdain for Elend, so she’d have to be careful not to voice it. No matter how much of a fop he was, she didn’t want more war in her home. De’Tess (what kind of a name was that?) was encouraging people to hide their thoughts, sharing them only in private letters one to another. Laila thought that was a ridiculous idea. How much more traitorous can you get? She pointed her finger at De’Tess, along with another, as she explained and unraveled De’Tess’s plan.

@Furamirionind @Fifth Scholar I don’t know where you got the rules for Coinshot 2 that you cited, Fura, but the ones in the Signups say that the Coinshot can still be targeted by the Assassin and Seeker 1 instead of the “certain roles” phrasing you used. Is that right, Fifth? @Randuir Concerning PMs vs Thread: We only will ever have PMs at night, which reduces the time we could actually have discussions. Limiting our discussions of suspicions to PMs also allows for much more manipulation to occur. So I will be discussing my thoughts in the thread as well as in PMs.

Elend. No, stop it Laila. You can’t just lynch him because of his haircut. Ugh, I know, but I hate when I have to correct myself. That haircut is atrocious though. Elend.
