That makes some great small talk during an animal slaughter. *looks up after killing a panda* "Did you see that?" "What?" "Looked like a small blond teenager hurtling through the sky." "Emma, you're crazy" "Yeah. You're right. Let's get back to killing these thing." *resumes regularly scheduled panda killing*

What kind of color would work best? I'm thinking like red or purple. Blue would confuse me and probably the other Elimination players too much. Edgerunner's with Scribbler, but is free to have anyone meet her. They're just slaughtering Pandas and other animals right now, so they're kinda getting neglected. If something would add to their story, I'm game for it.

Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
Mailliw73 replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I have contact with two people, one claiming Rioter and the other claiming Soother. After this many villager emotimancers, these two either are Spiked or, as I'm beginning to think, Meta's screwing with us and the role distribution. I've begun to somewhat trust these two I'm in contact with, so I'm not certain. They don't know about each other and no one else knows about them. How much do you guys think they're Spiked? I'd prefer not to reveal them, as certain things have made me inclined to trust them and if they are on our side, that's all the better. -
Hey, Aonar! Great to see you here! It's always fun to see people I know from other areas of the forums join us here. I saw you lurking here a few times and I wondered what was up with that. I like Frostfire. So he can use his powers on any type of energy? I think the Astoria thread is mainly waiting on the Connell plot finishing up. Currently, I'm the one holding that up, sorry. I think we could be finished in a week and then make Astoria. Multiple threads would solve some problems, but create others, and I think it'd be too much of a hassle. If someone wants to test the blogs, go for it. I've never used them either. The only icons I know of are the popular ones when a post gets 10 upvotes. But colored text, like the OOC blue in Elimination, might work. I vote for that idea. Also, Joe, I don't think you saw it, so I'll ask again. I don't really have anything for Max to do in Atticus, do you want to post to get it set up for him to make his plan known?

My current plans don't prohibit this from happening, and I quite like the idea too. (She's also a girl he'd be particularly interested in, which is completely a happy coincidence.) We have to get through Portland first though. your definition of sweet is much different from mine then. To join with him or what? I'm game for it, but Newan needs to post and get us caught up first and then we can get this worked out.

That makes more sense now, thanks. If Elsa doesn't work out, either MV or I pact could continue onto Scribbler and Edgerunner. I don't know what else to do with them besides animal slaughtering.

There are two reasons this wouldn't happen. One, they need contact to infuse something so anything like that would be a suicide mission, and two, they don't know anything about minerals or gases like that. They aren't a particularly studious tribe. While there are some intellectuals, it isn't as valued as much. Now, were they ever to join with the Moon tribe, as blasphemous as that may be, something a lot more powerful might happen. Oh I see. So killing a heat tribe wouldn't grant Imfu heat powers, but would give them he land and time to expand, which would then give them More power? Ooh I like that idea. I think the current leader or general or both is going to use the aggressiveness of the Imfu to pursue his own means of conquering. While he isn't technically lying, since killing others will help them eventually, he'd be stretching the truth a lot. Hmm. That could be a cool idea.

You mean like how they could create a flammable gas and then heat it up? While theoretically possible, I've said before that infusing gases with heat, let alone enough to burn it, is too difficult for a priest. The air dissipates too quickly and the heat takes too long to infuse. Possibly, if they had a container with the gas inside, they could do it, but that would likely blow them up instead of anything else, because of the contact requirement. It's kinda a game-balancing issue, maybe, as time goes on, they get better at it or something. I don't know how strong the fusion is in canon.

Does her blood sugar spike occasionally? I think I found her. Read my post. There's actually two. I read the first, but never read the second as I never really played the game.

Wow. I never would've known. Well, she's definitely very cool then if she's the one who got you here. Alcatraz? Or which one is it? I feel like I vaguely remember that...

So in joining this club, are you also asking to be downvoted? I don't want to downvote you if you don't, but if you do, I'll help you out. I just want to make sure.

Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
Mailliw73 replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I've begun to question my thoughts about Piff being the Rioter. Jain seems like the more likely choice. The reason we didn't get a Rioting last cycle and Jain's wifi issues might correlate. I don't really have much, but Jain or Joe seems like the likeliest choice for Rioter. -
So, Kobold, either you aren't your own mother's friend on here, she's registered as a male, or one of the people whose identity I know is lying to me. Edit: Or I'm really bad at looking at all your friends profiles, but I can't seem to find her.

WHAT?! And you never told us this till now? That's awesome! I don't think there are many people with another member of their family also registered here.

Ah, I see. It makes much more sense now. You've still got almost a 2,000 rep lead. Not sure you need to worry about it yet. Well, as mentioned above, Nighthound fought naked earlier and just barely, Mike, a character who just became an Epic, just vaporized the clothes of a whole squadron of soldiers, so it would probably make for some very awkward scenes in the RP, but it wouldn't be a huge deal. Or, like Mike/Desolation, you could make it so that certain items Ozymandias can choose not to affect with his powers.

I think we'd love that regardless. Thanks. Kobold, what exactly are Glamour's powers? I thought they were simple illusionary ones, but these new sun-draining, blinding badchull ones are awesome. I'm just not sure what his powers are exactly. I loved his post, I'm just confused.

Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
Mailliw73 replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Seonid, I have only two explanations for why I haven't been killed yet. Either the Spiked haven't cared about losing the PMs(I for one haven't used them much recently) and are possibly trying to manipulate through them, or they are trying to get you to do exactly what you just did: suspect me. I can't explain my survival. There have been at least four different night cycles where I was fairly certain I was going to die. So the two explanations above are he only I can think of. Aside from me being Spiked, obviously. The possibility of there being a mole in the trusted group has been more and more possible to me. Of them all, I would guess Wyra or Joe. But, first off, while Joe is an experienced player, he wasn't in the trusted group with Wilson, as you seem to think. She told Claincy and I that she only had a short PM with Joe. Joe doesn't feel very Spiked to me, but it is possible. I think for now, I'm going to vote for Pifferdoo. Unodus. Piff is very likely to be a Soother/Rioter and since that person isn't fessing up, I don't see why they'd be clean. -
Wow. I just looked at the rep I got on Altermind's last post and apparently, hinting towards a weakness gets you more upvotes than usual. I didn't think that post was anything exceptional either.

This would be awesome, but maybe it should wait till the Thoughhttown gang leave so we don't hold up the MEE any more. The hallucinations from when he leaves someone's presence are a weaker and he can't do more than one or two at a time. The Mrs. Trattner hallucination won't be a long one, just enough to shake her. It should only last five to ten minutes. Hopefully. That was kinda the point of including it. Yep. I considered mentioning what set it off outright, but decided that it'll be better for hints like this and then for the weakness to be revealed at a better moment. You'll see it eventually. But for now, RAFO. Kobold is correct. Edge, I sent you a PM with Altermind's updated weakness since Firefight. Sam was close enough to rattle him and weaken his hallucinations, but not enough to cancel them. I believe they were in the east edge of the city. I planned for the pandas to rush in during Newan's next post, but he's been busy recently and hasn't gotten to it yet. So that part of the story is a bit behind. I want to see this graffiti too. It's weird to see you guys with younger siblings who are my age. Tell her it'll help boost you up in the ranks of the Sharders and their upvotes to lessen the gap between you and the king of Kobolds. She might think you're crazy, actually.

Oh, that could be true. Mrs. Voidus, can we get more explanation on how gaining more powers works? Even if that is true, Imfu are likely to attack those with heat or light based powers in hopes to increase their own. Oh, my bad on the limit of people there, i forgot about that. So make that 10 priests and 200 citizens. Sorry. I didn't quite get what you mean by synergy argument. I moved it to the fifth. Ive been a bit busy these past couple days, but I hope to finish the Imfu's culture and Uku's backstory in the next day or two.

Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
Mailliw73 replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Why in the Storms am I still alive? Well, since I promised this to Unodus, here goes. I'm fairly certain that Unodus or Piff is the Rioter. Meta, you never answered my question about whether or not a Rioter can Change a vote to a no vote. -
The Diamond Queen responded before the Trattner girl. Altermind attended that conversation again as Lucentia provided a demonstration. “There´s a rather simple solution for dealing with Corpsemaker.” A miniature human mannequin of diamond grew on the table. “All you have to do is make sure I can get to him and, I´ll make a fitting prison for him," Lucentia said, trapping the figurine in a solid black diamond. “Suddenly, he can neither see nor free himself, making him completely harmless. I assume there are no objections.” Altermind admitted to himself that it was quite impressive. It would solve the problem he had wondered about. Lightwards raised his voice, angrily snapping at Lucentia, "You assume?" Altermind was pleased to see that Intervention was doing his job well. "I...That is precisely the project I had entertained," Lightwards said, regaining his composure. "Using Lucentia's ability, CorpseMaker can be contained indefinitely in a neutralized state, like an insect trapped in amber. But this will not be as easy as she implies. We will require a full coordination between Thoughttown's forces and my own, in order to eradicate the Dominion's lieutenants and to draw CorpseMaker out into the open. For this cause, I recommend we supply one another with mobiles, in order to maintain constant contact." Lightwards glanced around the table, settling on Funtimes with a glare. "Milady, that was a wonderful demonstration and it quite solves the problem I had," Altermind said smoothly. "Prof, I had a similar idea, so before I came, I had a technician work this up for you." Altermind put a mobile on the table, but hid it from the others' eyes. He gently slid it towards Lightwards, hovering just above the table and then he removed that hallucination so that it would appear in front of the necromancer. "A mobile connected directly to mine," Altermind explained. What he didn't explain was that it had strict restrictions on it as well as a bug and tracking device that reporter to Altermind's own mobile. Lightwards would find cyberwalls blocking him from anything regarding Altermind or his location except to send a message or call. "For future coordination, just send me a call." Now the tricky part. "One last thing before we go, I have a request of you, Doctor. So that Streetwise isn't able to spy on our covert operations, would you raise a building in Thoughttown like this one? Just ten feet or so to be out of his range. An elevator to travel up into it would also be ideal." Altermind said, hoping Intervention's methods would be enough to help her agree. He quickly went back over to Samantha, seeing her finish a sentence. He read the last thing she had written. I don't know how you remember me after all this time. Maybe you are a genius like you say you are. I do know that you are still and always will be A SLONTZE. When I was a little girl I had to race to a Thoughttown truck before it drove off, since your cronies were going to dump my mother on the side of the road somewhere. I had to beg and plead to be loaded on board with all the other people your utopia left behind. And I can tell by the slontzes you're allying with that you haven't changed a bit. So no, Altermind. I think I'll take my chances with the glittery cannibal over here. I'm flattered you thought of me, but thanks but no thanks. P.S: You don't need to make yourself look like some kind of actor. Everyone knows you're secretly a warty, hairy troll with a big hideous birthmark. P.P.S: I hate you. Altermind froze in panic. His hallucinations flickered briefly. He regained control of them quickly, hopefully before anyone noticed the anomaly. How? How did this girl know? He was furious that she had, potentially on accident, discovered his weakness. You ungrateful little swine. You'll regret this one day. You'll wish you had joined me and especially that you had at least been kind. I'll see you again soon, Samantha. Don't forget me. Altermind dropped the pen onto the clipboard as he finished. He created one last hallucination for Samantha. He walked back to the table as the image and sound of Mrs. Trattner sobbing on the floor next to Samantha appeared to the girl.

I'm putting up the next Altermind post now. I think the only things left in the meeting are for Funtimes to respond and Sam's reaction and then the call from Thoughttown can come in. Anything else you guys have?

They probably wouldn't have seen that though. Unless they were heading back towards the armory. Electro did that somewhere to the west of the armory I believe. You never did quite answer the question about how Panda would've managed to get an army of animals through Oregon without anyone noticing or why the Panda didn't use them at first.

It should be. And just go ahead and have them find Electro anywhere or vice versa.
