    Hmm, I like that a lot. Now, I'm not sure how some nations would've gained the ability to directly absorb it from the sun. Any science-inclined people want to take a shot at it? Thanks, ThirdGen! I'll have to try some of these out. I do have a general idea for the character arcs, I'm looking more for an overarching plot that would wrap all these characters together.

    Over the past year and a half-ish, I've written very short, very rough beginnings to stories. Just this week, I finally connected that all three could be used in the same world, at the very least, and possibly the same story. My problem is finding something to connect them all into one plot. Here are the four characters' POVs that are actually written and some notes for each. (Keep in mind that most of these were written over a year ago and that they are very rough.) There are also two magic systems that I created, one for Ts/Daron and one for Argisen. I think they can be combined with a minimal amount of work. Magic Systems: Ts: Daron: Argisen: Kahad: World: So what I need now is some type of plot or motivation for these characters to connect. Any ideas? Edit: fixed spoilers

    That's very understandable. I figured some people would come after me for that. The reason I RPd more last cycle was because I found myself with some extra time on my hands, but it was a night turn and no one was discussing, and then it got extended twice.

    Did you see the Netflix show? I only got to watch the first episode so far, but I liked it a lot. Very dark though.

    Yeah, most the Thoughttown Epics did. But, unless someone really wants to write a post for their character, I don't think any of them need one until morning. Blaze, Mestiv, or I, if you haven't already gotten access.

    What the storms? Now gods were giving Madon quests? Madon already knew he was important and a hero, but to have gods deign to order him, him, around, that was too much. "KIPPER GOD, HERALD, WHATEVER YOU ARE, I DEFY YOU!" Madon grinned at his retort and crawled back into his house. "I win, defying always works" he muttered.

    Inde? What the storms did Inde mean? Madon wondered at the Kipper in the sky. Inde--I mean,? Strange words for whatever God or Herald this was. Now he was talking in blue. Madon didn't know how he could tell that the voice was blue, but he could and he could no longer understand it.

    This is the site that Wilson showed me where both of our HttFE House mottos come from. It's a great site with tons of options. I really do like the "Strike swiftly, aim true" that I got from the generator and would probably use it in RL just for fun.

    I've had three beginnings to stories over the past year and I've never finished them. Today I realized that all three can be in the same world, if not the same story.
