  1. Yes! It! Can! Hey, Truthless! And again, it seems. That's just how it goes.
  2. Cookies began to rain down from the sky.
  3. How about Quote Peace? That sounds much nicer.
  4. Alethkar suffered some damage from an internal anti-safehand revolt. Meanwhile, Iri found a buried cache of supplies. 5. It isn't good because it really just trades one cause of losing for another. @Lunamor @AonEne @The Last Post @Truthless of Shinovar, welcome back.

It looks so good! The color scheme is really nice.
  7. Good for me, I already would have lost thanks to @Lunamor. Which actually isn't a good thing, so scratch that.
  8. Alask had answered as well as he could have. And what Lena said was a good idea as well. Three couldn't accomplish much, but a slightly larger organized group could. She was contented with the thought that things would start happening to rebuild as soon as possible. Eve leaned against a wall. The two conversed about going on patrol or something. She was fine staying silent and out of it until one word jumped out at her. A name she'd never heard before. "Who's Shez?" she asked after Lena finished her question.
  9. Welcome to loss again, Truthless.
  10. I'll bring books.
  11. I'm on my second era with an uninvested character and to be frank about it, I love it. Initially it was a shock. RPing one of the weakest characters in a room is very different from RPing one around or slightly below the average strength. That isn't to say an uninvested character has nothing for them. 150 points of skills add up. But the reason people don't make uninvested characters isn't a matter of character slots (for most people). It's really because of how different an experience it can be. The character has one less protection. Even Feruchemy can add a sense of security to a character. RPing Light Acute is very different from RPing Eve, despite the fact that storing Identity isn't very useful normally. The first thing an uninvested can fall back on is their brain, rather than Investiture. They also tend to have a very different experience in Alleycity. Weaker invested characters also get the feeling for this too, but less so. To be in a city ruled by godlike entities is very different when they're powerless. I am all for there being more uninvested characters in the Alleyverse. There is an imbalance, I agree, of the ratio of invested to uninvested, but I don't believe this is the way to solve it. This is where to start: We need to create a mindset in which people understand that uninvested characters aren't a waste. Because, truly, if anything they're much more rewarding.
  12. The mimes felt bad for having ulterior motives and gave Piggoot an apology pie.
  13. Hi. I love your profile picture. Welcome to the Shard. Which Sanderson books have you read?
  14. Eve stood up. Sitting still just wasn't possible anymore. She supposed it was easier for Alask and Lena. They connected to things differently. They helped in their own way. Did what they could. They at least had a plan for afterwards. She was back to square one. Trying to be preventative through the people hadn't worked. The danger hadn't come in a way they could stop through mindset. It was the issue of mob mentality. If one person panicked, almost everyone else would. Meaning they had to start farther out. In a place she really didn't want to go. But those ideas would have to wait for later. "Do you plan to also try to extend the waterlines to the places that were never even connected since the last war?" she asked, fixing her eyes on Alask. Alask was an interesting person. He seemed to care for the Forge. The people...she still wasn't certain. His willingness to oppose the guilds without respect for the members' lives did bother her. And the way he'd phrased the project... Simple, easy, gives us good standing with the locals. A good standing shouldn't be the reason to do something. It should come as a reward earned with time. That was the true goal of her question. Extending pipelines or not could determine what really came first to him. The Forge and an easier way to a good reputation or a longer, harder path of true care for and interaction with the people. @I think I am here.
  15. YKYASF when you default to the ninja emoji so much irl before realizing each time that it's not a thing. YKYASF when you also have dreamt about meeting up with Sharders.
  16. TRUTHLESS! WELCOME BACK TO THIS THREAD! At least now I know it wasn't you who did it to me yesterday...

  18. I'll bring something. Maybe some Sharders...
  19. A silly kangaroo eats when told about blueberries leaving Earth. TYFNSMHOY
  20. They got rid of it (the iron) in newer versions because "...too old-fashioned blah blah too sexist blah blah..." and replaced it with a cat or something like that. Always was my second favorite piece, before the thimble (replacement piece is now being voted on), and following the dude on a horse...they also got rid of that one, now that I think of it... ...is Monopoly secretly conspiring against me?
