  1. Also I don't think that just because you have a magic system, you're immediately Connected to the Shard. I believe you need your Identity to to be spiritually Connected to the intent of the Shard. So collecting all the magic abilities wouldn't be enough to collect all the shards.
  2. It doesn't exactly fit, but when I listened to Heartless by the Fray after I read mistborn, I kept thinking of Kelsier and Mare. The song's a little too harsh towards Mare, I think. First date by Blink 182 also fits Vin and Elend. Lol, Dayman by Charlie in Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hilarious when you're thinking about Autonomy
  3. 72% skybreaker Does anybody know if there's a more recent quiz based on new knowledge we have on the Orders?
  4. If you don't include the Fused specifically, just the various Parshendi forms seem very powerful and helpful for Roshar.
  5. Interesying. I thought Khriss said Autonomy wouldn't allow foreigners into Taldain?
  6. Granted but now they're messing up every aspect if your life. I wish to shrink to the size of an ant whenever I want
  7. The orders when watching their favorite sports team play Windrunner: "How dare you foul him he is clearly the victim! These refs were bribed!" Skybreaker: "Player 15 fouled another player in the last 30 seconds. Therefore as stated in rule 27 they must be ejected" Dustbringers: Anytime any one of their players do anything "WHOO! LET'S GO!" While waving their lucky foam finger. Edgedancers: "At least 3 players haven't had a chance to play yet. I don't care if we have to replace our best players, just do it." Truthwatcher: Silently mutters the best plays each player should do Lightweavers: Makes illusions to confuse the other team Elsecallers: "OK we're in the lead, the best course of action is to play defensively and not allow our opponents to score" Willshapers: "OK we're down buy 3 points. Let's do some crazy hail Mary and hope it works out" Stonewards: Still stands there but is now wearing 2 jerseys hats and has foam fingers on both hands Bondsmith: whenever a fight breaks out "Guys guys come on. It's just a game. Isn't the point of this to bring us together and have a friendly competition?
  8. But what about the fact that the Rosharans have so much more war experience? The Scadrians haven't have a major war in 300 years. Yes they have tactical books but that's not a lot compared to actual firsthand experience. Maybe the Southern Scadrians have fought more but it sounded like they are mostly in peace. I think the Rosharan' s tactical knowledge would be a huge advantage.
  9. Who do you think would win in a giant, interplanetary war between Scadrial and Roshar? Ok so in order for this to work we're going to need to establish so ground rules. Rules Scadrial is set in Wax and Wayne era Roshar is set in the current era The only way to travel from one planet to the other is through perpendicularities. Both planets know where all available perpendicularities are. No space travel. Also they can't just surround the perpendicularity and kill anyone who passes through. Let's assume that in both sides, all nations on each planet are unified in this war, but not by a lot. Meaning all the Roshar kingdoms want to defeat the Scadrians, but for example if the choice comes to either protect their own nation or defend another's, they're probably gonna save their own. Which is similar for what we've seen so far. Same goes for the Northern and Southern Scadrians. Also since Scadrial has so many mistings and ferrings, let's assume Roshar gets 50-100 more surgebinders (We can change that number if you guys don't think that's fair).
  10. Tiny, marble sized grenades that, when thrown in the air, explode into tiny pieces that pierce the enemy's skin. Then they absorb the blood and expand in their blood vessels to cause heart failure.
  11. Granted but they're stuck in your ears and you can never take them off. I wish to experience @Jehoiada's curse for a day cause that seems like fun.
  12. Reckoners I think Shardcast had the best one: Roshar Secret Societies
  13. "Honor is dead, but I'll see what I can do." It was the first quote to make me actually send chills down my spine.
  14. Buy And Pattern is having a field day seeing all these new forms of human bahvior.
  15. How about the scene where Kaladin swore the third ideal? That would be amazing to see.
  16. What do you meam by harm? Are you saying pain or injuries? It would be cool if you have a cut or something, then you store malatium and the cut is healed.
  17. A Hoid mask for when your traveling to Scadrial and you get jumped by the legendary thief, Kelsier. The mask should scare him away...but it also might make him want to rob you even more. Be careful not to be seen by the 17th Shard while you're wearing it.
  18. Granted, but you become completely engrossed in the story and forget to eat, sleep, and bathe until you die from dehydration. I wish I could use storming personal pronouns, in my STORMING English Project, that's supposed to be about MY STORMING PERSONAL GROWTH!!!! ...sorry I'm frustrated....
  19. I think Odium thought that by returning Dalinar's memories, he would break and then fall to his side. Then, with the most fearsome warrior on Roshar at his side, Odium could decimate the humans. And Odium would want a human champion on his side because he's worried that in the last 4500 year, the humans have technologically evolved to the point that they could defeat his forces if they united. Getting Dalinar probably would have ensured his confidence in victory.
  20. This theory intrigues me and I want to believe it but I need more evidence Edit: I wonder if the reason she kept treating her ardent so well was not only she was worried that the Almighty was displeased with her for being related to darkeyes, but also to keep the ardent so comfortable that they don't investigate into her family history.
  21. Whenever you hear a word that's also a Shard name, you have to to repeat it. Brother: "God, you ruin everything!" Me: Ruin? Harry Potter: Slytherins are know for their resourcefulness and ambition and- Me: Ambition! Textbook: The tropical climate of the Caribbeans allowed for the cultivation of- Me: *slaps textbook* CULTIVATION!
  22. "That's-that's all?" asks the Nightwatcher. "Yup," says Zath. "You don't want anything else?" "Just a bag of potato chips." "Oh um...ok." The Nightwatcher snaps her finger and a bag of potato chips appears in his hands. Zath walks back home satisfied with finally outsmarting the Nightwatcher. He gets back home and realized everything he ever owned was stolen. "Well I guess I did say I didn't want anything else." I wish for it to be Halloween everyday.
  23. Granted, but you also have a perfect memory for your nightmares, not normal dreams, and the horrors you see haunt you all day every day. I wish I could form the physical manifestation of Anxiety and Awkwardness so I could deck them across the face Kelsier-style.
  24. If you could have any two cosmere characters to be your Shoulder Angel and Devil and give you advice in real life, which two would it be? I would probably choose Adolin and Hoid
  25. Of course. I bet they're on a stage and after Hoid completely roasts him, he jumps off and crowd surfs away
