    Drako rushes out of the building. Upon seeing the giant rock arms crushing Rhazien, he promptly turns around, charging after Mace and the bomb.

    Drako grabbed Mraize from behind and snapped his neck. He pushed the body away, snatching his bolter and firing it into Mraize's back. With every shell, he thought of the life he had lived, before coming to this hellhole. He used to be a hero. Someone who saved others, not betrayed them.

    Drako lowered his binoculars, frowning. He'd broken into one of the abandoned buildings to get a better view of Rhazien. What are they up to? he thought, raising his binoculars back up as Septimus landed by Rhazien.

    An emerald-armored giant steps into the throne room. "My deepest respects, Queen Elsa," he says, dropping to his knee. He glances to the side. "Hey, Mack," he says.

    Drako realizes that he's mistaken Archivist for someone else. He apologizes, giving him an awkward arm pat. Noticing the two runners, Drako walks over. "I'll count," he says, raising a finger. "Starting now, actually. UNUS! DUO! TRIBUS!"

    A gauntleted hand lands on his shoulder, gripping Forgetful tightly. "Archivist," Drako said coldly. "I believe we have unfinished business."

    Drako leans his head through the doorway. "Does this mean Brother Daniel is forgiven for his crimes?" he asks cautiously.

    Suddenly, Drako emerges from an alleyway, right beside Rhazien. He struggles not to outpace the smaller man as they jog along. "Hey, buddy!" he says cheerfully. "How's it going?"

    Welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote! For threads to start with, I'd suggest the Sanderson meme thread. It's funny, clever, and not tied up in all the Alleyverse politics. Speaking of the Alleyverse: it's a collection of social roleplaying guilds, down at the bottom of the main page. It's currently dominated by a power struggle between the Dark Alley guild (who use Hemalurgy and cookies) and The Underground Baking Association (who want non-Hemalurgic cookies). As for the cardinal sins: If you value your life, never claim that Brandon is a bad author. The people here are remarkably chill, but they will rip you to shreds in an instant if you cross that line.

    ...Dang. I'd forgotten about that by now, but you're right. Maybe I'd just be a biased biased mediator, unable to mediate for anyone within TUBA and the DA. Is that too weird of an idea, @MacThorstenson?

    Drako sighed, letting his arms drop to the arena floor. "You win," he said, trying to keep his voice level. "Your honor remains intact, and mine is satisfied in the end of the duel. Now, would you please help me get this armor off?"

    Drako laughs. He laughs long and hard. Rhazien just played right into his trap. "Last I checked," he said, still chuckling, "I'm the one with a helmet." Summoning his last reserves of strength, he jumped off the platform into the ocean of beads, taking Mraize with him.
