Drako growled. This was not going the way he wanted. As his greaves shattered, Drako grabbed Rhazien's warhammer, yanking him closer and putting him into another bearhug. He then fell over, trying to pin Rhaz under his massive weight.

Suddenly blinded, Drako wildly attempts to grab Rhazien's free hand. Flailing about, he also tightens his grip on the other hand, trying to crush the wrist.

Growling at the humiliation of losing his bolter to this heretic psyker, Drako shoves the sword aside and proceeds to Shardplate-backhand Rhazien. He grabs Rhazien with his other hand, just in case he tries to teleport.

Drako twists around and grabs the pike before it hits him, yanking it out of Rhazien's hands. He raises his bolter and fires it, point-blank, at his opponent. Storming teleporters, he thought.

Drako grabs the bolter, bringing it up and unleashing a hail of bullets at Rhazien.

Seeing that the punches aren't working, Drako bullrushes Rhazien, using his reach and armor to get inside the reach of the Shardblade. He makes another attempt to bearhug Rhazien.

Drako laughed, flexing and easily breaking the cloth with his enhanced strength. Catching the Shardblade blows on his pauldrons, he attempted a jab into Rhazien's chest.

Drako immediately drops his bolter and bearhugs Rhazien, trying to use his superior reach and strength to crush him.

Drako shakes Rhazien's hand, careful to not crush it into a fleshy pulp. "I... Do I even need to answer that?" he asks, sounding confused.

"I think you'll actually remember him," Drako says. "He betrayed you, and the rest of TUBA, the moment you let him in." Drako sheathes his sword, frowning. "To be fair, Brother Daniel was a demonic rage machine," he said. "I'm glad that traitor is dead. But he was my father." Drako grabs his bolter and pulls on his helmet. "A non-lethal duel," he says, "to restore my family's honor. And maybe take down the current Arena champion. What do you say?"

*draws massive sword* "My name, Rhazien, is Drako He'Stan. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Drako He'Stan, space marine of the Salamanders Legion, walks into the Arena. Upon seeing Rhazien, he jerks to a sudden halt. "You," he growls.

You know, I've been on these forums for 2, 3 years now. In all that time, I've never posted an introduction thread. But with this new name and profile, I just felt like formally introducing myself. I mostly lurk, though I've started to frequent the roleplaying/guilds section. The meme threads are what brought me to the Shard, and I'm still a devout follower of them. I'm also currently going through a Sanderson-withdrawal Since I'm not technically new, I'm going to ask you all a question: What's your favorite experience you've had on the 17th Shard?

Yeah, I'm totally fine with that. I can just say that the Shardplate looks like space marine armor. Also, I'm now realizing that my bolter (a giant assault rifle) might be out of place for this. Should I change it to a sword of some kind?

I propose the following fight for my application: Kelsier vs. a Warhammer 40k Space Marine. On the one hand, the space marine is a heavy, armored giant with a rapid-firing rocket launcher. On the other hand, he's covered in Pushable metal, and he's going against the best Steelpusher in Mistborn. Who wins?

I really like this explanation. Can I use it for my character? I'm more than fine with using Sanderson's magic systems for everything else. My power armor can be fabrial powered (like the Shardshields), and my weapon could be Awakened, to match the power level. Heck, I could just be a guy from this: What do you think?
