  1. awesome nickname :D

  2. Happy birthday Ellen <3

  3. Indeed, there's already tables of translation spread about the wiki, but that article is probably the best place for a central table
  4. There used to be a great source on Isaac's site which described the history behind the evolution, but it was lost during an update. If someone could find it that would be awesome. In other news, the coppermind has many of the symbols, but we're missing the HoA symbols, and the Feruchemical ones could do with being turned into SVG's. I've made a (woefully inadequate) page for the http://coppermind.net/wiki/Steel_alphabet'>Steel alphabet, which will be vastly updated with the above-mentioned info from Isaac. EDIT: http://web.archive.org/web/20120510041032/http://www.isaacstewart.com/mistborn-series-artwork/'>wayback machine to the rescue
  5. nothings changed then XD
  6. Onay eadday anguageslay onway ethay orumsfay easeplay Only kidding, and a hearty welcome to the one that must be cytoplasm
  7. Hello there chorikami and welcome aboard. Spreading the indoctrination of BrandonSandernism is a great way to start your stay here . last read: Libriomancer, Jim C Hines. Very enjoyable. want: more Brandon, next Quantum Thief book, anything and everything favourite: I would have said WoT, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have last time through. I don't really hold to a single book/series/author, there's just so much good stuff, and quite a bit of great things, and every now and then something magically amazing. I'm gonna push Hannu Rajaniemi a bit more, since I really enjoyed Quantum Thief and Fractal Prince. Mindblowing
  8. Or just your very presence
  9. Congratulations freja, that's great news
  10. Yay for group theory
  11. yeah my netbook does 1024 max XD
  12. my netbook doesn't like you any more Eric, the site is now wider than its screen
  13. Is it ok that I ship Windy with Syl?
  14. I didn't realize, and I forgot, but you are a Brit, and you're a month younger than me...that's pretty craycray. In a sad sort of way :P

  15. I'd say its more likely to be Recreance, since a thousand years is more than long enough for a world without 'modern' civilization to forget its history... though I agree that the Knights Radiant lasting 3500 years is a push.
  16. Hey there Auri, great to have you aboard we have a few other Europeans around, hope you enjoy yoruslef
  17. I thought as much, and yes, it probably should be added somewhere. I am up for suggestions as to how to improve the way we've done that too (and also, a way of doing 'relative' dates so that we can do the other book timelines better)
  18. That is a good find, Meg... Our usage of EoS is from the Recreance, so once we find out which Epoch ended with the Recreance, we will know our Epoch, and can change things. Was the 8th Epoch one of Dalinar's flashbacks, the one where he fought alongside some Knights Radiant?
  19. Indeed, happy birthday miss chan

Well, I rarely ever post, or do anything noteworthy around here! I'd think I would have to draw some attention to myself with something, no? xD
