There is the idea of starting a "crime ring" side plot if enough people are interested in doing so, and I think this character could work very well in that kind of setting as an oppositional element, along with some of the other characters who have goals to improve city life for the general population. I also think it will be interesting to see how this character acts with the current iteration of the Ghostbloods, who have been renamed and are going through a bit of a purpose Renaissance. Maybe your character could get in touch with Tena to try and find out who might have murdered their family, root out members still looking to randomly assassinate, etc. We also have a new gunslinger/lawman type character who recently joined, maybe the two (or more!) of you could find common ground. Just a few suggestions, and you're welcome to post in the Collaboration Thread or Chat Thread if you have ideas. I just know we've had some players have trouble in the past with lone wolf type characters finding ways to get fully invested in a plot or a group of people. And we don't want anyone to get left out
Yeah. I can do that, just as long as the Ghostbloods are involved in this crime ring It'd fit right in with my character plot. I'm not sure if it's allowed for me to use a guild I created but technically left because of life and such for my plot purposes. I've heard that there aren't any "evil" characters anymore really so I'd figured it be ok. But let me know. And I going to assume he is approved. Just add something into my sheet that I forgot. I want his alignment to be Chaotic Good.
Edit: Where is a good place to start. I've seen two threads.

I did this on my phone so might come out weird. If so I am sorry.
SpoilerName: Lord Everette Meeks, vigilante name: Steelshot
Appearance: Man in early 30’s, messy brown hair with an oval face, piercing green eyes. Often seen wearing the distinct customized aluminum armor of the Meeks family. Helmet includes an early prototype voice modulator otherwise voice sounds staccato, abrasive, suave yet sophisticated and steely. Carries several needles
Guild (or intended guild): None, but up for recruitment
Personality: aloof, cautious, callous, cold, calculating, composed, logical, lonely/loner, hardworking, organized, patient, poised
Concept: Medieval meets Star Wars. Though armor is just customized and just metal, no other special additions other than the aluminum. Helmet is a little special, experimented tech that reads vitals, and has a voice modulator and a recorder.
Motivation (Short & long term goal):
Short term: Clean up the streets of crime, rebuild estate
Long term: find family assassins, purge Ghostbloods from company
Merits:
Minor: Business smart(includes the expertise in metallurgy), tai chi meditation,
Normal: Nobility, Steel allomantic savant,
Major: Twinborn(Coinshot & Bloodmaker)
Flaws: fresh trauma of loss, survivors guilt, depression, does not allow people to get close or allow emotional attachment. Does not kill, death returns trauma. Lol
NPCs (Eg. Family and Friends): Assassinated parents, younger siblings, and fiancee in a house fire. The butler, Jarvis Edmund Brandt(Jeb), is the only other survivor.
Home Planet: Scadrial
Current Residence: Oasis City, also where the estate burned down
Backstory: Ghostbloods carried out a successful assassination and cover up of his parents, younger siblings, and fiancee in a house fire.
Little to nothing remains of the Meeks family. Family dealt in the mining metals for allomantic, feruchemic, and hemalurgic use as well as the refining and creation of some of the alloys. Also in charge of sales and distribution(including transportation). One of the more well known in the industry but not a monopoly, as they were in the process of being able to split ettmetal into atium and leriasium, but was incomplete due to the early assassination attempt by the Ghostbloods due to faulty intelligence. Now mostly infested with Ghostbloods members.
Loose ends (What is unfinished in their life?): Establish estate for goals listed above

What flaws could be developed by trauma of parents, sibling and fiance death? Or general flaws that revolve around trauma, specifically death?

Can I ask why the focus on having a character with DID?
No particular reason but I just wanted to see if I could write or portray mental illness in my writing accurately. But if that's not allowed for any reason, I understand and I have other set of ideas. (The other idea revolving around a noble twinborn coinshot savant/bloodmaker vigilante)

@Voidus I've been thinking about my character and I'd like to ask a few questions before I take the and effort into my character sheet V2. I'd like to keep working on a DID character, I've been re reading material on the subject to better write a DID character. If it is okay to keep going with this idea. I'd like to have the character be a mistborn but have their powers split between 4 personalities. A category for each person (mental, physical, temporal, and enhancement)

@Voidus Ok. A few things I'd like to discuss. I'd like to at the very least keep the D.I.D. I can do away with the straight up evil bit (despite chaos incarnate is my whole persona I created here
). I can have them be a neutral chaotic instead of evil chaotic, or good chaotic depending on how I'm feeling later. I want to have the whole steel compounder powers split between personalities, I think that's cool dynamic to have in a character. I'll bump up the savantism to normal I suppose, if you'll allow. I dunno if it will be allowed to down grade combat experience to firearms revolvers specifically into a minor feat. If not I can down grade the nobility I guess depending on what happens.
Edit: Would like thoughts so I don't waste effort

Is there anything that needs to be changed for mine? Its why i submitted a hard draft

Lord Everette Meeks (1st draft)
SpoilerName: Lord Everette Meeks,
Appearance: Man in early 30’s, messy brown hair with an oval face, piercing green eyes. Often seen wearing the distinct customized aluminum armor of the Meeks family. Helmet includes an early prototype voice modulator otherwise voice sounds staccato, abrasive, suave yet sophisticated and steely. Carries several throwing knives, and a revolver nicknamed Ace
Guild (or intended guild): None, but up for recruitment
Personality: Split personality, amplified emotions for each side.
Negative side: megalomaniac, psychopath, sociopath, egocentric, manipulative, malicious, sadistic, hateful, untrustworthy, cruel, conniving
Positive side: compassionate, efficient, generous, innovative, loyal, reliable, responsible
Shared attributes: ambitious, and calculating
Concept: Medieval meets Star Wars. Though armor is just customized and just metal, no other special additions other than the aluminum.
Motivation (Short & long term goal):
Positive side goals: regain memories from the mental break and possibly re-unite split personalities.
Negative side goals: increase allomantic power/ability and monetary wealth to gain political and social(nobility favors) power
Merits:
Minor: Business smart, steel allomantic savant, expert wooer
Normal: Nobility, combat experience in firearms, swords, knives and hand to hand combat
Major: Steel Compounder (See Flaws for more details)
Flaws: Steel Feruchemy can only be accessed by the positive side of his personality. Allomantic steel is accessed by the negative side of his personality. Steel compounding is out of the question as powers are split between personalities and neither would help the other anyways. Personality can inexplicably and suddenly interchange and swap at random. Both sides are fighting for control
NPCs (Eg. Family and Friends): Doesn’t remember any friends or family and wouldn’t want to as it would get in the way of goals. Though when he does remember, he killed his family in a mental break and thus inherited the family estate and wealth.
Home Planet: Scadrial
Current Residence: AlleyCity, also where the estate burned down
Backstory: Killed his entire family(extended as well) in a mental break that split his personality into positive and negative sides which subsequently induced amnesia. The estate was burned down in the process. Little to nothing remains of the Meeks family. Family dealt in the mining metals for allomantic, feruchemic, and hemalurgic use as well as the refining and creation of some of the alloys. Also in charge of sales and distribution(including transportation). One of the more well known in the industry but not a monopoly.
Loose ends (What is unfinished in their life?): Establish estate for goals listed above

Historically these kinds of characters tend to derail plots and get in the way of other characters' storytelling so we are somewhat discouraging them this coming era. But if you come up with a solid concept that has some way of easing those concerns then we can definitely take a look.
I remember. I'll probably have one specific side use this megomania, etc, and have the other be more rational/ resposible to balance it out. I don't have a particular plan for this character, just to Rp a good cop bad cop duo style with more extremes thus the megalomania, pyschopath, sociopath. The mental break will have dialed up opposite emotions in each side to the extreme, which could also be a flaw.
Edti: If that sound like it could be accepted let me know

I'm trying to create a character that lost important memories due to a mental break that subsquently resulted in two seprate personalities. One side being able to use, I think, allomancy specifically steel. This side specifically being the more megalomaniac, psychopath, sociopath, anti-hero/villian. This side will only be able to access steel. I haven't quick thought through the otherside completely. But I might make him twinborn and separate their powers based on personality. If possible. Some examples of some similar character designs that to mind are Killer Frost, Firestorm from the Flash and Moon Knight from Moon Knight. More like Moon Knight.
Edit: A split personalty can result in amnesia.
Edit 2: Definitely mostly like Moon Knight

Then what would necesitate a flaw for a character that is trying to get back their memory? I want a clean slate, i've been gone a while and have not clue where to really start.

Would megalomaniac, psychopath, sociopath be considered flaws for the type of characters I like to play? (Anti-hero and villians.)

@Drol Any Investiture?
Nope none. Unless you include the spike stapling his soul to his body. Or the fact I'm setting up a investiture pawn shop. None of which he will use.

Alright I haven't even touched my current character. I'd like it replaced with this one. I would like a point evaluation bc I wanna see if I can add more.

Alright here is my character
SpoilerName: Asmos Deus
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Alignment: Chaotic neutral. Though it can sway to chaotic good or evil respectively.
Appearance: Physical appearance is not known as Asmos hasn't removed his helmet in any social situation. Aluminum armor covers the vitals as well as arms and legs. Though his helmet is made of a completely different material (Graphene). See photo below for an accurate depiction.
Additionally he carries around his chest and shoulder vials of blood, which contain spikes, essentially a kill counter for Asmos.
Skills:
Intelligence: Intelligent, mainly on combat and Investiture (30)
Hand to hand combat: Average (20)
Melee weapon combat training: Amateur (20)
Projectile weapon combat training: Skilled (60)
Poison mixing: Skilled (25)
Total: 155
Weapons:
Poisoned(paralysis) needles
Silenced rifle with a scope
Two revolvers
Weaknesses: Due to the heaviness of the armor worn, battles of endurance, and running are difficult, this is why Asmos and the Clan (see family) prefer ranged weapons instead of melee and hand to hand combat. Although Asmos isn’t ignorant of the aforementioned skills they aren't as refined and his shooting and therefore wields knives in tight situations.
Another weakness of sorts is the fact that he short on money for him and his clan and will take up any job offered.
Additionally it should be noted that Asmos has no Investiture what so ever.
Family: The Clan. An unknown group of mercenaries, who allow only one member out of their sanctuary at a time. The clan hold a particular significance to aluminum armor, which they see as a sacred protector to the one that bears such armor. To take off one’s mask is is seen as taboo and are hunted down as to not divulge secrets. Aware of the power of allomancy, the Clan wear helmets made of Graphene.
Guild: Unaffiliated

I'm hoping you'll let the 5 points slide but I can edit. I welcome suggestions and comments thanks.

Berk climbed into the jet. "I thought you just got out of prison, how did you get all this?" Berk asked.
"How do you think we got there?" The assassin asked grunting.

The mastermind nodded then left the room. The spy and the assassin followed. He led them to a large in door launch pad with a sleek jet on the pad.

So the Vigil is a better place to start since I was absent for E5?
@MacThorstenson or @ZincAboutIt please remove acupuncturist from the minor section. It pretty much requires a master degree to practice and that isn't something minor.
