He'd prepared for this. As Ace grabbed his gun he pulled a small needle from a pouch and drove into Aces neck. The needle was coated in sleeper stimulant.  The bullet hit his foot. He gritted his teeth against the pain.

Myriad shrugged. "That's what has been told to the public. It's the easy truth that has been put out there. I dont blame you for believing it."

The removal of his disguise was to hide him drawing a pistol on Ace. It worked fabulously. He held a sidearm pointed at Aces head.

Myriad went on the defensive. But he was getting the fighting style of his opponent. That was the first step to winning a battle. Knowing your enemy. He carefully lured Devaan and Hellbent into thinking they were winning.

Sebastian blocked the blow. Then shot more wires at both of them.

This piqued his curiosity. "Maybe. Could it extinguish Investiture completely from a person?"

"Nothing was reported missing." Replied Myriad.

Seb shot wires at Max but they wove around him headed at Althea.

Myriad blocked each in quick succession. Though it was difficult he managed it. 

The sword was blocked by a tightly woven shield. Sebastian had a mask completely over his face blocking the rioting. On the other side of the room so did Myriad.

"I am. You hold inferior magic that needs disposing of."

Thread started to appear from his gloves.

The blows missed. Devaan's leg connected with his own. He was in free fall. No limbs touched the ground. He tossed a knife in the air. He palmed the ground and flipped. He caught the falling knife and threw it at Devaan, then brought out a pistol and fired in rapid succession, before once again rushing the man.

The man parried his first strike. That didn't mean anything. He ended his dash forcing himself into a slide. Expertly come up behind his enemy. He slashed at Devaans back and nape of his neck.
