    James had never particularly loved school dances, but this was prom, and was therefore a special occasion- so he put on his happy face. A slow song started up, and James breathed a sigh of happiness, "You know" he said to Sawyer, "They almost never played slow songs where I come from." Oh for the love of the Almighty, just ask her James! The Nightwatcher burst out. "So" he added, tentatively, "Do you want to dance?" He proffered her his arm, and smiled a nervous, but enthusiastic, smile. @Taradiddle

    As someone who has lived through high school, I think the interactions between the kids were on-point. It was one of those, "It's funny because it's true" kind of situations

    Panic! Panic! How Am I supposed to respond to that! James found himself struggling to maintain a level of dignity and serenity. "I know this sounds cheesy," He said, somewhat hesitantly,"but I only know one thing for sure- You're no monster." James said, confidence beginning to fill him. "and if that makes you feel useless, like you can't help us in this war. Well, I say to hell with that war!" James put a hand on her shoulder, and forced some of the intensity out of his voice, "You aren't useless though Shana, far from it. Those who fight for something, or someone, they love will always maintain a nobility and a power the rest of them cannot touch."

    Outwardly, James kept his face calm, however, inwardly he began panicking Oh Lights I don't know If I'm experienced enough to handle this! James thought, panic stricken. "Well," he managed to get out, "You'd have to tell me what your oath was, and what actions you've been taking that make you feel like you're breaking it." James was sure he looked even paler than usual as he hoped desperately that he wasn't making the situation any worse

    So, I just beat the Watcher Knights, and figured I'd share my strategy: Shade Cloak+ Sharp Shadow (Charm, 2 notches). You can acquire the Shade Cloak in the Abyss (accessible after obtaining The King's Brand), and complete a platforming section to obtain the charm. (Allows your shadow dash to deal the damage of your nail when you dash through enemies) Quick Focus Charm (Heals faster, good for obvious reasons) Grubsong Charm (Gets you Soul for getting hit, makes it easier to heal if you're playing it defensive) Thorns of Agony Charm (Deals 2x your nail's damage to enemies upon getting hit if within range) There's also a hidden area above the arena where you Mantis Claw just before the arena entrance. If you break a rope-ish thing here, a Chandelier will crush one of the Watcher Knights, so you only have to deal with 5. If anyone's got any tips for dealing with Traitor Lord, please let me know!

    Well this is pretty unfortunate- but- on the plus side, we are still getting that Call to Adventure expansion (Hopefully)

    An interesting note on the term "Zinc-Tongued Raven" is that not only the fact that it could serve as analogous for our 'Silvertongue' but- Wax also mentions during the party in BoM that ravens are often the symbolic depiction of TLR's 'Wraiths' (Which we know to be Inquisitors). So I suppose that adds a bit more depth to the phrase as well.

    Wait. You fight Hornet again after Kingdom's Edge encounter?

    I've heard that some people consider The Watcher Knights to be the toughest boss in the game. Personally, I hated the Crystal Guardian boss fight (Don't even get me started on Enraged Guardian)

    I personally think the definition of 'good prose' changes based on the kind of story you're trying to write. For example- Pat Rothfuss' lyrical style would not fit a Brandon story, and Brandon's style would not fit Rothfuss' story. I'd say you have to consider factors like tone, style, and narrative POV when deciding what sort of prose to use.
