  1. “Maybe you should talk to the host?” Alask shrugged and stuck a thumb towards Sebrial. @Ark1002
  2. “Thanks, Flid.” Rob said. “But I’ll probably be sparring.” “Correct,” Rob said. “What are the teams?”
  3. I second all of this.
  4. “That’s good,” Rob said, standing up and walking by, collecting all the plates of finished people on his way to the sink. “What about you, Flid?” @Emperor Stick
  5. Well, it seemed this man had spoke Alask’s thoughts. He hummed in satisfaction.
  6. Rob nodded, finishing his own spaghetti. Should he have been worried about allowing a Dustbringer to go full out on him? Probably, but it was a challenge, and plus, from his conversation with Shana, she needed it. With his surges best suited for defence, he could probably take the most hits anyway. “It’ll be an interesting spar,” he said, looking to Ruby, who suggested they wait for Doc. “And the others who went with him,” he said. “Cassandra and... Draug, I think.”
  7. Wilhelm shook his head, now glad he’d packed his coats. “None for me, lady,” he said in his accent and walked back towards Arun. Wilhelm crouched down to her level and gave her a knife. One of his four. Wilhelm grimaced. Maybe revealing how many weapons he had wasn’t very easing on the mind. Giving it to her he looked at her wound. “Cut off a piece of your clothing and bind it with that.”
  8. Rob turned at Shana suggesting cleaning the place up after sparring. “Yup, let’s definitely party first,” he suggested.
  9. “Check for a pulse,” Wilhelm said, crouching down to look at the lady. This whole place looked like a wreck. The Sovereign had clearly taken these people for sacrifice instead. “Some sort of explosion, maybe? I don’t think we actually went anywhere. This place looks the same.” @Sorana He turned to Arun, still with the glass shard in her leg. “Pull it out,” he said. @Blessing of Potency
  10. Alask nodded slowly before he realised what she was saying. Wait, what? It was annoying he couldn’t just ask flat out, the security in this place was intense. Way too intense for some simple ‘experiments.’ What do you say, Shez? Doesn’t this place look a bit too heavily watched to be a normal facility? “There’s more, Alask.” Alask sighed. Not this again. More what? “I can hear them.”
  11. “That’s great,” he said, then frowned. “Wait, so there’s a Hellbent, and then there’s an Anthony. How’d there be two of them?”
  12. Alask looked up and frowned. Then he nodded and put the note in his pocket. Why did she touch his burnt hand? He guessed the favour had something to do with that, then. “So, Mr. Host,” he said, turning back to Sebrial. “What’s your opinion on this Mastermind guy?”
  13. Alask looked at the note and her gestures, and he nodded. Cupping the note in his hands and keeping it down, he slowly tilted it upwards to get a glance like someone would do to see their playing cards at a poker game, then quickly put the note down again.
  14. “Okay,” Alask frowned. If what went wrong? “Here?”
  15. “Me, Sawyer, Shana and Ben we’re going to continue our sparring. You two can join as well if you want, to make teams of three,” he looked towards Flid and Leona. “The new guy, James, he was sparring too but I don’t know where he went.”
  16. “Cool,” Rob said, looking back at his spaghetti. Success! Cup whispered, not letting herself be seen. I guess so, Rob thought, scooping some of the spaghetti with his fork.
  17. “Green would look good,” Rob said distractedly, taking a bite of his spaghetti and trying his best to glare at Shana whilst maintaining a neutral expression. Finally he turned to Leona. How to word this? “Hey Leona, let’s go to prom.” Storm. Too straightforward. “Lets go to prom together, if you want?” He blinked. “Since we’ll both be going solo, we could go together, and then do our own thing, so it isn’t frowned upon on either of us.” @BookishOcelot @Sorana
  18. “I didn’t know you could go to proms solo,” Rob said. Maybe he didn’t have to bother asking someone anyway.
  19. Alask turned away from the television, looking to her. “Okay,” he said, and walked closer. “What about?” He asked, curiosity colouring his voice.
  20. “I would pay to see that,” he said distractedly. “But at least we know he’s capable enough to - what - hack a news channel? Maybe he’s not stupid after all.”
  21. “What does that even mean?” Alask asked, watching the news report play out on the small analog television. “Balance and destiny? Broken god?”
  22. “That’s right, we went to his wedding, didn’t we?” Max looked back to Althea, then back at Devaan. “He and Tena seem like a happy couple.”
  23. “By the spren that lives in the valley,” he said. A coalition of dust floated up to make an outline of his figure. Tall, and hovering off of the ground. “You can pick up some things about people when you’ve been watching for that long. How they work.” The dust outline, like a mist sprit, turned towards her. “I still haven’t figured out why people watch, though. Seems awfully boring.”
