    “Not sure,” Alask said and he suddenly had a headache from the sudden unsync. He tried conversing with Alask but it appeared they couldn’t repeat what they had done, at least not on a full body scale. Maybe they’d have to try later with what Lena suggested. “We summoned the Phoenix, it destroyed PlasmaCore and whatever Vortex thing that was inside of it,” he’d heard about the Vortex from some passing soldiers. “We’ve won. And the Phoenix didn’t even destroy much beyond the the actual building.”

Makes sense. “Thank you,” Cheh said, keeping the stones orbiting around him, requiring him to be constantly moving, his upper body pivoting and his arms flowing with straight, linear motions. Finally he made a movement and sent the stones banging into the wall, the sound echoing. “It gets tiring, though.”

Fortunately you didn’t come with any luggage, so we can just use a standard military carriage.” He walled over to the door. “I can show you the way to a doctor, if you’d like?”

    While they all go to Sorana’s island, I stay standing on a lone floating chair. They are a ship, and I am a pirate. A pool party pirate. “Muahaha!” I say as I stand up straight on my floating chair and make all the water alcoholic.

    “Never!” I call out and cackle. I thrust my arms in the air and birds fall from the sky in a drunken flight.

    "Gravity," Cheh repeated and nodded. It made sense. She could move things around, make a little purple ball that could attract gravity to it, like a little planet. "We have people like that where I come from," he said. Touching the rock with his hand, Cheh concentrated and the rock broke into seven or eight smaller rocks. Spinning to the side with a kick and then a punch Cheh got all of the little rocks to flow around and orbit him. It took some concentration to keep them orbiting him but he could manage it. lots of boring days and nights at the farm had motivated him to practice. "They can do what I can do with rock, but with air." He pointed where Jessy had turned a ball into ash. "But what about that? How do you turn something to ash with gravity?"

    Shez/Alask shrugged as an answer to both questions. They focused, closing their green eyes. Could they unsync? Well, they’d been unsynced before, it was only their joint force and the Alleystorm’s power that had connected them, and now, they were already unsyncing. They thought for a moment, and they agreed, Shez would leave back into the spikes. There was an unclouding of features, and slowly Alask begin to re-emerge from Shez/Alask, like when he transformed back from Shez, only slower. When it was done he looked to Lena. “That was really cool,” he said. “I’ve never done that before.”

    I’ll try. Do you think you could soulcast an aluminium plate? Max asked Athea and he summoned Sethramir, stepping forward and staring at the leader. If he could take control of them, maybe he could command the other grunts to leave. But, no. He’d already taken control of one abomination, and he’d hated it. Moving forward, Max made sure to keep his distance, and swung Sethramir low, trying to slice the legs of the leader. @RayOfSunshine

    Cheh looked at the violet ball in interest, holding onto the wall to avoid its pull. “That’s really cool,” he said, turning to look at the pile of ash that once been the ball. “We have four — or five, different types of bending where I come from. Are there... different types of this purple thing?” He asked, unsure of what to call the ability.

    First of all, great roasts from Sorana and John203! John, I loved those references to Sun Tzu and Beowulf. And Sorana, I was totally unprepared for that final line Also, isn't it interesting that the Sharder with the existential crisis for a username is roasting on behalf of a literal hallucination? Anyway, without a further ado, give it up for Morgan Freeman, the Walking Wikipedia, also known as... Tobias!

    Cheh looked to Jessy as he walked over to where the rock had landed. “Yeah,” he said. “It’s usually more impressive when I’m actually,” he gestured around. “Standing on solid ground. It’s using the earth, you know? Like if you were matching your spirit with it and you control it, with your movements. We can’t create it, that’s why it’s called bending.” He approached the rock and gestured to her. “What can you do?”

    I blink, and the alcohol is suddenly gone. “Could you spare a spike for me?” I ask, sad that all my turbo energy is gone.

    “Yeah! And violet wine me!” I indicate he should give another one of those turbo packs the mortals call alcohol. I look back to Zinc. “Ooh, you have a Coppermind. I have a mind too, you know,” I whisper conspiratorially and tap my head a couple of times. “Right here. But it’s a secret, okay?”
