The floor turns to diamond and reflects all the light the disco ball gives off, making spots of moving multi-coloured light appearing on everything. This is not a good combination with the violet wine. “I think we’ve died,” I say at all the light around at us. “We’ve Ascended beyond these mortal boundaries into a new Realm of class.” I look around, and offer the violet wine bottle to you. “More sustenance?”

About midway through our dance that puts all other dancing ever done before to shame, I use my free hand and empty another full bottle of violet wine. “We’re going turbo mode now,” I whisper in a somewhat romantic way and if anything, the violet wine has improved our dancing to a level beyond which can be comprehended.

“Formal. I’m renowned globally for my waltz, you know,” I say drearily and begin violently tap dancing. I outstretch my hand.

I have no idea what a Scadrian curtsy is so I do one too, before my mind kicks in but I’m already doing the curtsy so I just play it cool. “Yo,” I say.

Alright, I can probably do the Alleyverse Sewer System. And I’ll have you know the first Kaiju battle actually was canon, it was just so far away it didn’t have any effect on the plot I can do that as well, since I was a part of both of them.

“I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy!” I take another sip and finish an entire bottle of alcohol, and move on to the next. I think I’m seeing things.

“Caught in a landslide!” I exclaim. “No escape from reality!” It’s oddly fitting to my situation.

I’m still dancing, and I snatch a microphone in my right hand and a waffle in my left. “One whole year!” I say over the microphone. “This calls for some fun! Maybe a little karaoke?” I eat the waffle and my hand begins to gravitate towards some highly alcholic drinks.

Ah, I see (or don’t I?). Thanks for the crate of cookies, I was only planning to have one but wow, do they look tempting...

I put my hand up for a cookie (or do I? Nothing in my existence is concrete) or is it? I look around the party (and also don’t look around at the same time). Present tense is weird, and first person is odd. How (or how don’t I) portray an existence (or non-existence) in RP? I don’t think it matters, and I begin to dance (and also not dance. It’s comlicated).

Price looked as Sagitta bared her leg to everyone in the room, blushed, and then covered it up again. He smiled and looked down, writing something else. Already injured, Testing can reopen wound — may not be fit for more intense tests. “We can get you a doctor, you know,” Price said, standing up and closing his ledger. “Tühine medics are quite well regarded, even by the Cahayans.” He looked around and a small scribe came running through the door. He whispered a message into Price’s ear, and he beamed a smile. He waved out the door. “No need for a break,” he said. “Subject is injured, that will effect test results. Test dismissed.” and with a grumble all of the scribes left outside of the door one by one, until it was just Price and Sagitta left. “You’re being transferred to another base,” he said to her. “Apparently they have better testing regimes for Instincts of your type further south. More complex tests.”

“Yeah,” Wes said. He looked as the horde approached. “First, we’ll need to find someplace safe enough to take cover, if we want to observe weaknesses.” —-— Max marked down places on the map. “We close off the city,” he said. “So the abominations can’t spread far.” He marked three positions where forcefields would be. “We’ll add more, once the abominations move in. We’ll close them off from the city border once they are all in, and we’ll continue to box them in, but to begin with, that.” The drawing:

Shez/Alask nodded, and now when they moved you could definitely see they had begun to unsync, an outline following each and every movement. They hoped they wouldn’t freak out Eve and the kid. They began to walk towards the Forge.

flamesinger theory The Universe
I think I am here. replied to John Flamesinger's topic in Roleplaying
Cheh looked at the rock in half-disappointment but John had already disappeared. Earthbending was much better when it was attached to the ground, when one’s spirit could connect to the earth itself. Of course, if he could metalbend this whole ship would be enough material, but alas, it was just rock for him. Inhaling deeply, Cheh stepped back, and then lunged forward with a crescent kick. The rock suddenly lifted off of the ground and shot into the wall, part of it chipping off at the impact.- 502 replies

“But I am glad, you are here.” Mike told him. Then he checked his phone and told Wes the city was under attack. “I won’t,” Wes said in response and stood up, folded the blanket. “And I’m glad you’re here too, sir.” He looked outside the building they were in. “But what can we do? There’s an army out there, and we’re just... us.” —-— “Kind of,” Max whispered back. He put a hand by his side and summoned Sethramir as the first of the monsters entered the city. They were all on a rooftop, so they were safe for the time being, but Max would be lying if he didn’t think the abominations would be able to climb or fly to their level with no trouble. Abominations. A part of Max from years ago shied in fear at the situation, memories clear. Abominations attacking the city, just like when he was a child. He and Althea had tried and succeeded in stopping the Great Game from affecting the city, but now it was back to how it had been 17 fateful years ago. “The Canton has access to many powerful and large forcefields,” Max said. “Like the ones they used in the Seven Day War for evacuations. If we placed lots of them around the cities, in certain streets, we could herd the abominations to one spot, and destroy them all with a surgical strike.” —-— His messaging device beeped and Lusk cursed, some soldiers looking to him. “The city’s being invaded!” He yelled to the large group of soldiers that were with him in Shadesmar and they all were at attention. “The only problem is, we’re stuck in Shadesmar while AlleyCity’s being attacked.” Some soldiers cursed, the inability to do anything to save their city was incredibly frustrating. “But, we can still protect our city,” Lusk said, and the soldiers perked up. How could they impact a war when they were stuck in the Cognitive realm? “The Elantrians among us!” Lusk shouted, and a few soldiers put their hands up. “You can use Aons to directly influence other realms. This was part of your training! You take power from the spiritual Dor, and you can channel it in a variety of ways, which means you can technically,” Lusk spread out his arms. “Affect the Physical Realm from the Cognitive. With the Investiture of the Dor itself you could make another, smaller Perpendicularity. You see those?” Lusk pointed to a large group of flickering, glowing souls that were the abominations in the Physical Realm. “They can’t hurt you here, but you can hurt them there. “So Elantrians, get to work, I want at least 50 mini Perpendicularities around the city! The rest of you, when these Perpendicularities are made, I want you to hang out by them and attack from those positions. The abominations cannot come in here, because it’s the worst kind of bottleneck for them. Alright people, let’s get to work!”

flamesinger theory The Universe
I think I am here. replied to John Flamesinger's topic in Roleplaying
Cheh was beginning to understand. He was far, far away from home. Maybe not even on the same planet. There were people here with different magics, different customs, and he was alone. Him and his Bending. He wondered what his family would think of the abduction. “Is there any rock in here?” Cheh asked to John. “My power’s not as dangerous as some others’, but I still wanna practise.”- 502 replies

Max raised an eyebrow. “Max Tenira, leader of all Canton of Combat Operations.” He looked to Tels. The man wanted to use Rioters to control the Dark Phoenix. Max wished the others weren’t here, so he could tell Tels that even in the height of his power with the AlleyStorm he hadn’t been able to manipulate the Dark Phoenix. It definitely wasn’t hemalurgic. “The Canton has a few Rioters,” he said. “But even if get them all to flare their metals, it might not work.” He looked to the Dark Phoenix in the sky. “It might make things worse.”
