  1. Behold, the first pacifist tribute in the Hunger Games (me! ). I will do whatever I can to murder everyone else without resorting to violence, but to do that, I need a suitable sponsor who supports me in my goals and trusts in my ability to be a pacifist while playing probably the most dangerously blood sport ever created Will you be that sponsor? Choose Itiah now!
  2. Today’s prompt is: 23. Power For this prompt I was considering something beautiful, thought-provoking, maybe even introspective, and then I remembered this. Ask and ye shall receive
  3. The final matchup of the first round deserves a suitably awesome rap Make way for the one-of-a-kind Teft! @Paranoid King @Ark1002
  4. Today’s prompt is: 22. Sacrifice Rashan sacrificing himself to save Max and Mara. Finally, we’ve gotten to the one where I can focus purely on the grand abomination that is the Phoenix
  5. The voice interrupted Alask’s thoughts and he hopped off of the stool, hand hovering over to the side of is hip, where he’d started keeping his taser. In times like these it wasn’t always useful revealing all of your cards, and if Alask revealed Shez every time he was in trouble the rumours would spread fast. Hence, his own weapons. He couldn’t rely on Shez for everything. At the realisation his hand dropped from its ready position and he relaxed. “Hey Zyn,” he said, sitting back onto his stool and letting Lena explain the situation. Zyn, the acrobatic wonder. How had he gotten in? Alask dismissed the thought. It was Zyn, he found a way into the building even it meant squeezing into the tightest space humanly possible, Alask was sure. “We’re targeting the Whiterose Church, and expect to do a little reconnaissance before we actually make our move,” he added on, leaning over the table. “How’ve you been keeping up?” @Sorana @Voidus
  6. “Thanks,” Rob said to Nym and placed the coin on his knee. He nodded when they talked about extra security. He left his hand where it was, the gentle squeeze comforting. Sometimes he wondered why anyone put up with him when there was no reaction to half the things they did. It had been difficult making friends when he was young. “I could make something, if I have designs,” he said. “Thicker walls, sturdier frameworks in general to withstand more.” All he needed was stone and time, and there was plenty of stone around the property he could use. The idea of a fortress home sat well with him. His mind drifted back to the dream-fight they had had with Sha-Theoxis, the image of the burning house burnt in his mind. “Security, stability, it’s important. You won’t find any objection from me,” he said. Then looked to Shana. “Tomorrow is my debate, which is good, I guess.” he said. He’d been practising his speech, felt he was ready. —- “It’s for you Cup.” Cup slowly made herself visible, slowly slipping out of Rob’s sleeve. She kept close to Rob, curiously peering at the coin, before slowly hopping towards it in wonder. “Oh wow,” he whispered, touching the large face with her fingers. She huddled against it, unfortunately it was way too heavy for her to carry back to where she was hiding. “But, why give it to me?”
  7. Today’s prompt is: 21. Growth Who says growth has to be good . A never-before seen sneak peek into abomination creation:
  8. “Well...” Alask looked to the side, where Mart was playing. “Alleyzon wasn’t a guild,” he said, gaze hardening and turning towards Lena again. “The Church is. I say we go all in.” And he knew Lena would probably like that option as well. Anything to try out new poisons, though he couldn’t blame her for trying to find other outlets for her hobbies. Such as aiding him on his night walks.
  9. “Oh, I wouldn’t say you owe me at all,” Rob said, and waved a hand dismissively. Ben was simply too humble, which Rob respected. Though it wasn’t any lie that Rob would probably be dead if it wasn’t Ben. And Rob rarely forgot things like that. Shana appeared and another person Rob didn’t know followed her, sat down in this little group of theirs. “You didn’t disturb anything,” he said simply, let that be the end of that. He watched them hold hands, which was cute. “We nearly lost you too,” he reminded her. She wasn’t the only one who was grateful their group didn’t have any holes. “We were just talking about speeches, in case Jason or Ax want us to say something. Oh, that reminds me of something, actually.” Slipping a hand in his back pocket Rob took out a black slip-on bow tie, and carefully placed it on with a completely straight face. @Sorana @Lunamor @Aragorn
  10. “Easy, we’ll get disguises. Like we did in the sewers?” She was on board with the idea. That was good. Robbing a great guild was no small deed, even the Church. She was right, they were completely blind about security. And if they had guards, what Investiture would they have? It didn’t matter, he decided as dark thoughts returned to their mind. If they worked for the Church, then they were members of the guild. And if they supported the guilds they needed to die, no matter what. And he was sure Shez could handle them. “We’ll see whether anyone comes from our note, then we can go scouting. Come back, plan, then off for the heist.” Even thinking about another heist he could feel his heartbeat prick up.
  11. “Well, good thing you followed that man,” Wes said and smiled. Or maybe not. Maybe she would have had a happier life if she never discovered this place, of alleys and unimaginable horrors. But also unimaginable happiness. It was a place of extremes, the Alleyverse. No matter good or bad. “And,” he shook his head. “No need to be sorry. I didn’t know my parents. Don’t even know what they look like,” he chuckled and shrugged. “All I grew up with were commanders, bosses and leaders. Following orders and not asking any questions.” And the one time he had... Wes wrapped his cloak tighter around himself and tried to change the subject. “House Venture,” he repeated, looking towards Allri. “That’s cool. I saw a movie which had them in it once, but I’m sure most of what they showed was fiction.”
  12. “It will be,” Lusk said thoughtfully, taking another bite of the cupcake. It was way too sweet. Tapping atium, his posture changed as his hair bled to black and what few wrinkles he was beginning to get shrunk back. His build subtly became leaner and less muscular, and his beard receded. At 25 years old, the cupcake definitely tasted better. “Y’know, I never gave much thought to the brain parts of it,” he said, shrugging and picking up another cupcake, and a glass of wine while he was at it. All he knew was his mental state was influenced by what age he was, but it wasn’t like he’d ever tried to control it. “But you could definitely do stuff with it. Like training to detect lies, then growing in age and your mind thinks you’re an expert?” He shrugged and laughed. It was cool. He had some sort of apprentice, like from those fantasy books the nerds read. Taking a sip of his wine he raised an eyebrow at Freedom. “But you gotta learn to fight. Beat up a dude or two. Maybe some nerds. Get a little blood on your collar, you know? No one’s gonna take you seriously unless you can prove your strength to them. Case in point,” he extended his arms, gestured to the air around them. “An organization of crazy scientists run the universe. And whenever someone doubts their power?” He shrugged and clicked his tongue. “Just throw in a Phoenix here and there. Pacifists don’t exist. Not for long.” They either perished or lived to realise the Alleyverse wouldn’t grant them a second chance.
  13. “As in, this world?” Wes asked, sitting down on a large rock behind him. “I was born into it. Like most people. It’s only occasionally you get some worldhoppers discovering this place, and rarer still, someone who’s never seen a planet before just appearing, like Rig.” Was it fine just calling him ‘Rig’? Or was that disrespectful? Rig was, after all, his scout leader. Looking back to Allri he continued. “Dad left, mom died in childbirth. The standard, really. I was raised in the Ghostblood dormitories along with countless other kids. Strict routines. Harsh consequences. And occasionally someone disappearing even if they did everything right, just for the fun of it.” He extended his hands outwards. “And now I’m here, I guess. In this cave. Sorry, too much information probably.”
  14. Rarely, but yes. Which is more than he does now, anyway. Yesterday’s prompt was: 19. New So, I rushed a bit when I realised I was late on this one Here is a slice of AlleyCity after the renovations and rebuilding effort following the Seven Day War: Today’s prompt is: 20. Bureau of Villainry Everybody’s favourite villains! From left to right, Lena, The Haunt, Vesuvius, and Bellatrix
  15. The four guards entered the small alley and took position. Turning to the commander Price showed his ledger to her, the offical Tühinine military seal emblazoned on the front. “I’m from the Renaji base,” He said, stepping behind the three large guards so he’d be protected if Zura or the gods tried to attack him. Now he had the power. “The Ta’e’iloan is with me,” he said, gesturing to Sagitta. “I want the Cahayan and the two others escorted to the city’s military base.” “The Cahayan is ours,” the commander said brusquely. “She is a prisoner of war, and she will be imprisoned as such.” “Research and development already claimed her first,” Price lied. “She escaped, is all.” While they worked together well on most occasions, the research branches and the rest of the military often clashed on the topic of captured Cahayans. Were they imprisoned and executed, or tested on? Tühinine law said t was whoever claimed them first. “Fine,” the commander hissed and nodded to the guard talking to Sagitta, who slowly stepped back and made way for her. The rest of them moved forwards, attempting to capture the three others.
  16. “Me neither,” Rob said. “I mean, I can definitely think of something on the spot, but all these descriptive words, feelings and emotions and such...” He shrugged, let Ben fill in the rest. “I don’t think I ever thanked you for healing my burns?” He asked, looking at his arm. There was no scar fortunately. “I owe you.”
  17. Wes hesitated, looking back towards the other people who were a little further back. Was he even allowed to venture off exploring? Looking back to Allri he walked a little forward. It felt not be hiding anymore, to be in the open. “Sure,” he said, smiling slightly. “Though, if we encounter anything like that worm, I don’t know if I’ll be of much use.”
  18. “The usual,” he said, looking towards the snacks that were laid out. “Drinking. Working on one monster or the other. Trying to keep the Ghostbloods alive.” His hand hovered over the cupcake section before he quickly grabbed the one cupcake with black icing among the colourful rest. Couldn’t have anyone think he was growing soft, after all. “I have to say though, I’m curious to what ‘and then some’ entails.” He shrugged and took a bite of the cupcake. So sweet. “Maybe you’re ready for a sparring lesson,” he said and grinned. “Should be easy beating up an old man such as myself. A cakewalk, really.”
  19. “Good,” Lusk said. That was one task done. Now, onto the assassin. Turning his head he stared at the Bleeding Spike. “I can change my age. He probably doesn’t know my power so it can make a disguise good enough to get close.” He looked to Avalon. “You say he keeps trying to evade rather than attack. So we each cover an exit, so he has no where to run.”
  20. Alask smiled and patted Mart on the head as the boy walked up to greet him. They exchanged some smalltalk about homework and Alask turned back to Lena, paced around the room as he often did when thinking about plans like heists. It had been a while, he hoped he hadn’t gotten rusty. “Metallurgy and Investiture is abandoned,” he said. “What hasn’t been raided yet isn’t worth much. Definitely wouldn’t be a working fabrial there.” But, if not there, then where? The guilds were a tempting option, but it was important to choose a mark that wasn’t impossible to steal from. “The Whiterose Church?” He asked. “Ardents always have fabrials, and they’re a great guild, and not as threatening as some of the others.”
  21. Lusk watched Mari and Avalon talk and made a note to ask what intel they had on Vio as he turned his attention to Mike. Well, not Mike, but whatever animal currently was possessing him. His eyes and teeth spoke of some carnivorous animal, the ears tipped Lusk off that it was a wolf, or some sort of similar animal. “We are on a very important mission,” he said, trying to summarise his message in a way that would hopefully be easy to understand. “I’m asking politely, for you to keep yourself and the other animals in there in check. Someone killed people who was apart of our organisation, and we can’t go on without tracking the perpetrators down to bring justice, before they kill any more. I can’t afford the chance that you or your kin will sabotage the mission, so I’ll only ask once. Understand?”
  22. As the training commenced Wes watched, peeking from behind a large rock. He knew he had no reason to hide. He had as much importance as anyone here, he was an ACE employee too. But, as he watched the two Allomancers training, he began to reevaluate his thoughts. That man alone... he had just arrived on this world, and he was already more powerful than Wes, more useful in practically every sense of the word. The girl, Allri. She wasn’t nearly as skilled as Rigex, but she made up for it in raw power. A Mistborn. Wes had never seen another Mistborn in his life. Looking back he saw the ‘scholars’ (the name he’d given to all the super-smart people on the expedition) inspecting some sort of animal. Wrapping his cloak around around himself he tapped his metalminds, his hunger disappearing and mind returning to his thoughts of inadequacy. He had to be of use in some way. He had to. No one had even blinked when he’d said he was a bendalloy Ferring. Well, except for that woman, who’d compared him to the bendalloy Misting. An infinitely more useful ability, but it wasn’t like Wes had been able to choose his genetics. His mind wandered to dark places when he knew that were people out there who were able to change their genetics. Through little metal spikes. “I wonder what would happen if an Allomancer ingested a magnetically charged metal,” he said, stepping out of his hiding spot, waving slightly to Rig and Allri. “H-hello. I’m Wes. I thought I’d just walk a little ahead, then I found you guys training.”
  23. Hello! Now that both Striker and DeTess have flipped village, I thought it would be helpful to check out last cycle and see the interactions between them and other players. But first, my thoughts on El: I have become convinced that the quick vote on Striker is just part of their playstyle of encouraging lynch discussion, as seen when they voted on Wilson for holding their vote and gave that large list of questions to encourage discussion. I’m not suspicious of Rae because I could see the reasons she voted on Striker, and Tess was obviously village so I agree when some people say the Striker lynch was probably all elims. I have to admit, the killing of Tess to confirm her as a villager seems kind of interesting since one of the main discussions early last cycle was about the statistics of whether she (or I) could be elims. I’m voting on Alvron. He voted on Tess due to a gut feeling and she turned out village. And the other lynch candidate right now, Venture, defended Striker (who flipped village) as well as defended Alv, who is voting on him now to make a tie. And I don’t think I actually see anyone defending Venture right now? Add that to the fact that he got his vote moved to Stink, for some reason. Honestly this sounds more like elims messing around (because why would a villager cause confusion like that?), since there chull no risk for Rath or Stink being lynched. Add that to Alv’s IKYK as well as the fact that we’ll learn a lot, and I’m voting on him.
