  1. i think that wayne has the best tony stark-like personality but kelsier would definately be the best iron man and i think zane would be an amazing loki!
  2. agreed! i've been rereading all the cosmere books and patrick rothfuss so far during the wait, im just excited for when the emperor's soul hits england!
  3. I had always thought that he was from Roshar (not really sure why) but the Knights Radiant are all dead on that world?
  4. I really enjoyed this, i've been racking my brain for a use of Cadmium and that's an awesome way.
  5. Vin skidded to a halt on the mist-wetted cobbles and flared pewter for a second to steady herself, she glanced around with her tin-enhanced eyes and pouted in impatience. She adjusted her mistcloak around her and was just about to take her knives from their sheathes to check them when she heard the thump of someone landing on the ground. Turning around she saw Elend rising from a crouch and dropped a coin, propelling herself into the air before the new mistborn could take a breath. Jumping lightly over the low rooftops of the skaa apartment buildings of Luthadel she chanced a look behind her and saw Elend struggling to keep up with determination on his chiselled face. She maintained her speed and chose some more complicated routes over the rooftops to give him a proper workout until she reached the city wall and steel-pushed a belt at Elend as he continued to jump towards her. He caught the belt with a grunt and finally landed on the rooftops, his knees were shaking and his legs were weak, downing another vial of metals he began to burn pewter to make himself stronger and more focused. Strapping on the belt he noticed the big metal blocks attached at the back and looked at Vin questioningly, to which she responded by pointing off of the wall and into the mists. When he looked over the edge of the wall the mists concealed the ground, making it unknown to him how big the wall actually was other than the memories he had of travelling back to Luthadel in a carriage, taking a deep breath he dropped a coin and burned steel, watching the blue line fade as the coin got further away. He backed away two steps and took a few deep breaths, Vin, who stood about 6 feet away cleared her thoat loudly and pointed again off of the wall waiting. Shaking himself, Elend took a step forward and felt a small pair of strong hands on his back that pushed him, suddenly he was falling in the mists and flailed as he fell, completely forgetting about the coin he had dropped. The belt jerked upwards by the metal blocks as Vin concentrated on keeping him from hitting the ground and killing himself, she let him down gently and used steel to find the coin that he had dropped and leaped gracefully from the rooftop, using the coin as an anchor she hit the ground with a small thud and stood over Elend who was just about to stand up. She appeared in the corner of his vision and winked, "race you home," she said competitively and leaped right over the city wall with all the enthusiasm of a child and none of the fatigue and weariness that he felt. Elend stood up groaning, "damnation woman," he muttered under his breath before iron-pulling on a torch bracket at the top of the wall and staggered away into the mists.
  6. I dont have one i have envy not ownership unfortunately *sob*
  7. O.o *hides in shadowed corner brandishing a table leg*
  8. That's what i thought as well since all a mistborn would have to do is stay out of reach and riddle him with coins until he was weak, but my friend thinks that a monk would be clever and fast enough to effectively fight a mistborn.
  9. My friend and I have been arguing over this for weeks. In a fair fight who would win? Dakhor monk or atiumless mistborn?
  10. Zane would be my favourite if he didn't whine like a little girl, I would have to say Vivenna or Jasnah. I'm currently rereading Elantris and am thoroughly enjoying the characters of Sarene and Shuden. Also in the lightsong fangirl clan.
  11. but i'm pathetically normal! *cowers*
  12. Im on my phone mostly so regrettably that would be a rare occurence, and i don't really mind about the experiments with ruin and preservation merged i wouldn't really be influenced (like marsh in AoL), besides it would be harder for me to be even more insane! I would be a willing participant! Especially if a spike contained Brandon's mind.
  13. Not wanting to sound stupid but i've just had a look and CBox? What is it? I can't find it.
  14. If atium mistings were sick longer which metals made people ill for what amount of time? Which is the least 'potent'?
  15. Going right back to the feruchemical savant theory at the beginninv of this thread, if constantly tapping metalminds makes you a savant would filling them fundamentally change you as well? Take Wax for example as he is constantly storing weight would he be changed to the point that if he stopped would he be lighter than if he hadnt jept filling them for so long? Would drawing a lifetime of stored power in an instant change you as well? Don't know if this has been touched on or not but it's a question i've had since learning about feruchemy.

I think elantris would be extremely tough to be a workable rpg as its always better to have two or more classes of people and, until the average humans got used to the elantrians, then everything would be easier, but that would be a stretch to assume that they do considering that they had a grudge against the elantrians and vice versa. There would probably also have to be a system by which random characters would be atruck by the shaod.
  17. I know the series is a bit soft compared to those of Brandon or someone like Brent Weeks for example, but i was wondering if anyone had read it and their thoughts on it.
  18. I think that the lightbringer series has an awesome magic system but the plot in 'the blinding knife' was a bit lacking. The execution that Gavin carries out was shocking but i found that i didn't really care about it as much as i should have (i shall say no more for fear of spoilers)
  19. I don't think i've actually posted on here yet so hi, i'm Tayler, i'm 18 and i've been pretty much obsessed with Brandon Sanderson since The Well Of Ascension was released.
  20. 'A sheathed sword=a blunt weapon' I've only read warbreaker twice but doesn't Nightblood effictevely stab many people in the chest even when he's sheathed, e.g. When he's stolen near the beginning of the book, Vasher looks down an alley and sees Nightblood protruding from a mans chest while it's sheathed, the only difference being that the clasp on the sheath is undone.
  21. That would be amazing! If i had breaths i would share them with someone who had good ideas like that.
  22. I would walk around in a Darth Vader suit for the next 50 years while strangling people with their own collars, and as i would have perfect pitch i would have to go on a rampage throughout music stores and break every Justin Bieber CD i could get my hands on
