Naermen felt more pain, then heard something ripping, then died.

Naermen could feel the blow, feel the pain that accompanied it, feel the foreign investiture ripping away her nerves. She collapsed, barely feeling the pushing on her face. She was blacking out. Only the mist kept her awake. That, along with the pain fabrial that she kept on her person 24/7. It took away an insignificant amount, but it helped to know she was being guarded. She was angry, a bit of her felt angry. She was the only person in the entire cosmere who felt her pain. Nobody would understand her. Except for him. He would. But he was not here to comfort her. She was alone. Then the thought came. Like an injured cat, it slinked into her conscious mind from her subconscious. A tool she has always had but always neglected. She could use it now. Slowly, but surely, she brought her hand to her pocket and removed one of her items. She didn't register the shout of the one who had knocked her out or the rumbling of the suit beyond them. She was alone, in a place so flat she couldn't see it's end. Only herself and the item. A foreign hand tried to wrestle the object from her hand, while another foreign force used some form of investiture on her. She couldn't feel it. She was about to sleep. Then, she pressed the Bestower's Len's to her face and sent everything she was feeling at that moment to her unsuspecting attacker. Her mind cleared. And another body crumpled to the ground beside her. Naermen didn't know the body's condition; her task was at stopping the suit. She paused, uncertain of what to do. Then she smiled. And smashed the Patji bomb that had been in her hand into her own head. Ants crawled down her face. She turned to the suit, gasping once the pain she had given away came back to her, but in a suppressed form than before. She had a plan. The ants bit. Death flowed through her veins. She was going to die. The body that had fallen started to rise. She was starting to fall. And Naermen gave all of it, the venom, the sensation, and the terror to the suit and anyone inside.

Naermen swayed back, feeling the rush of air above her as the hammer missed her by mere inches. This time, she did growl, because she was slightly annoyed and, as mentioned above, due to the malfunctioning of her prefrontal cortex, she was not able to stifle this ancient urge to make an angry noise in the face of frustration. She took a stick of chalk out of her pocket (she was not wearing Nei'an's coat, and thus did not share in its beneficial pouches) and drew a straight line across her forearm sleeve, creating a mobile Line of Forbiddance. She started with the line facing directly up, then tilted in a way so the invisible wall smashed into the top of the suit. With her other hand, she pulled out one of Nei'an's Patji bombs and growled yet again.

Naermen ran through all of the investitures she had used thus far. 'Stormlight, Allomancy, Epic...' She stopped, then smiled. She ran up so the suit was several meters in front of her, then unleashed her Aether, sending a ball of swirling green vines in the suit's direction.

Mainly because it didn't exist outside of Butt's mind. Thus, it was terrible at its job. However, this is unrelevant for the following five reasons:- 111828 replies

Naermen turned to see a gigantic suit thing swinging a hammer at hemalurgic monstrosities. She sighed. she would have growled, but she didn't actually like having a bunch of monsters running rampant. She decided she would wait for the suit to kill a few more, then she would fight it.

Naermen smiled. She was glad she was on the side of the giant flaming bird. she ran into a group of attacking TUBA people, then activated her Epic powers to teleport them into space. The beige cloud, activated by her inability to breath, took her back to safety on Earth. she drew the aon for Fire shortly afterward, frying more soldiers. She had been fighting for several hours, maybe even days. The Investiture sustained her. She looked around, now surrounded by friendly DA defenders, searching for an enemy. She would fight until the worldspike was safe.

It was time. The beige cloud that once hovered over the battle began to float downwards, slowly at first, then picking up speed. The flat cloud twisted into a tornado-like spiral and slammed into the ground. A gigantic beige mushroom-shaped mist enveloped several square yards of the battle inside the alleycity. All was still. Then, the mushroom cloud, which had lingered for a few seconds and obscured the vision of everyone inside, was promptly sucked back into itself, leaving behind a vacuum that pulled everything inside towards the center as well as the air rushed inwards to fill the empty space. The fighters staggered, their battle momentarily stalled. Then they saw her. She stood where the middle of the mushroom cloud would be, her eyes and fingernails glowing beige. She stepped forward, causing some of the soldiers in her path to retreat back a few steps. Neither side knew whom she would strike. Then, Naermen smiled. She flared Iron and pulled a sword out of a defender's hand, one of those they classified as the 'DA'. She did not strike him, though. She swirled and stabbed a TUBA soldier by pulling him into her blade. She declared war on TUBA. They must not get the worldspike.

Naermen watched the battle from above, her body spread out over multiple yards of beige mist. It served her immediate purposes, presently acting as a gigantic eye. She had been through a lot over the past few weeks. A lot of things had been through her. And now she was ready. All she needed was time to prepare. She was extremely high up; none of the soldiers or monsters below could see or sense her, and if they did, they would only see the beige mist that was her form. She was invisible. But they were not invisible to her. She could see them. They couldn't hide from her eye. And she could see the carnage, the fire, the doom, the death. She would, very soon, do something about it. She had already chosen her side. With the help of her constant companion, her prisoner, and her friend locked up in her presently evaporated skull, she had decided who was in the right. And she would use everything she had at her disposal to fight for them. She would join the carnage. All she needed was time.

Naermen knew. She could see it, feel it. Everything made sense. The powers collided, counteracting each other while somehow strengthening each other. They formed an Investiture unlike any other, a window made of broken glass. But she digressed. She couldn't stand here for long, feeling the power. She had work to do.
