  1. I knew my suspicion of you was unfounded. I'll do a last-minute vote change to Fifth Scholar
  2. "Sure," Jamie said cheerfully, "Where I live, Metalborn aren't uncommon at all."
  3. I've got nothing much to share in the analysis department, besides some eye-narrowing in direction of Fifth. I want to look into anyone who has posted >3 times this turn. I'll see where my suspisions lie after that.
  4. Jamie shrugged, taking a sip of coffee, "I came looking for you. I had heard rumors, you know?"
  5. Yera chuckled darkly. "Done," she said, "Go to the station quartermaster's office. If they're not to busy sorting out your mess, they'll set you up with some kind of accommodation." she then turned to the others, "A few things. First off, this guy isn't a terrorist, he's mercenary, pardon me, contractor that I've been given leave to hire. It's not entirely uncommon to use independent contracters on expeditions like this. I'll admit that the consequences are unique, though." she locked her eyes on to the yelling man. Yera already didn't like him. He looked like a conman type one might find in the Rift. "As for you, my long winded friend, you'll have to talk to the mission director if you want to join the mission. Unless you want to be part of security. In which case you talk to me or the chief."
  6. Bah. 99% of any content I produce on the Shard is useless. It's just what I do. I've been in two minds about Sart. Part of me wants to believe he's an elim, but the logical, calculating sides says to trust him. I'm not sure what to think. Actually, I think I'm tunneling too much on Mr. Sart and should start looking around. I'm off to go read though the previous cycle to see what I can find.
  7. Jamie smiled at Cassie, "Thanks." she said, taking a sip, "It's good." she took another sip and drummed her fingers against the mug in thought. "In response to your question, I can metabolize pewter and gain enhanced strength. We call it 'burning' because it feels like you're burning it."
  8. I guess I'd be expected to share a few thoughts. Don't expect any brilliant strategic analysis. First off, Nahel bonds. Yippee. The game thickens. Secondly, I'm eager to hear the results of any essence experiments. If y'all found anything cool, feel free to drop me a line sometime before the turn ends. I've got some suspisions, but they'll have to be delayed, as I've got reletives to deal wif.
  9. Jamie smiled gratefully, "Yes, yes, coffee would be great. And yes, I'll take sugar."
  10. "No..." Jamie said cautiously, "Something to drink would be nice. Preferably something with a high concentraion of caffeine."
  11. Cakuin was bored. She'd had enough of waiting around camly, observing events. If these people had any information on her killer and his friends, she wanted to know. She stood up, almost knocking the chair over, but caught it at the last moment. "Boss," she said carefully, "These people might know something about those who had my friends and I killed. I'd like to take a look around, if you don't mind." Ciera nodded, a smlie on her face. "Go ahead. But be very careful. They're more dangerous than they look." Cakuin gave her mistress a single nod and loped back into the lobby. She cocked her head and walked to the elevators, pressing the call button.
  12. Jamie followed, plopping down on the couch and sighing.
  13. Jamie shook his hand, then crossed her arms. "I'm not Radiant." she sighed. She was quickly growing tired of explaining that fact to everyone. "Right now, I'm a tired Twinborn. If you want to talk about the nature of my powers, I'd like to sit down."
  14. Doc waved to Jamie offhandedly. "She's diffrent. Ask her if want to know more. I don't really understand." ~~~ Jamie shrugged, eyeing the two others who had just come in. They didn't seem very remarkable, but neither did Doc or Cassie, until they used Stormlight. "Um. Hi?" she said, then cringed.
  15. Ji looked at the watch. It was very nice, with a gold exterior and a crystal face. It hung on a golden chain as well, and so Ji hald it in front of her face, almost mowing down other spren as she walked. The man at the booth (and it was a man) had told her it was a pocket watch. Ji didn't really care, as long as it worked.
