Doc smiled and headed into his study. He clicked on the desk lamp, removing several items from a drawer. He laid a sheet of paper on the desk and clicked open a case. Inside lay a stock of large pens with rubies glowing on them. Each one was neatly labled with the person or enclave in possession of the other spanrial. Doc flicked through the pens, selecting one that read: Vaults, Vancouver Island, BC. He switched it on and began to wait. A few minutes later, the pen stood up on the sheet of paper and began to write. Who is this? Doc smiled and picked up the pen, Doctor James Deovan. I have a request to make. Go on. I've found someone I think will make a good Shardbearer. Please send a Shardblade to Seattle as soon as possible. I'll see to it. Doc nodded to himself and began to put everything away. ~~~ Jamie quickly called an Uber and walked back to the motorbike, waiting for it to arrive.

Aben thrust forward in Blacklance's Last Strike, spearing the first man through the chest before he could react. The sword shone brightly as Aben yanked it out of the man's chest and rounded on his companion. "Shall we waltz?" The thug continued to stand there, stunned, before charging at Aben, swinging his dueling cane wildly. The blademaster stepped smoothly out of the way, preforming The Tower Crumbles as he did. The move left the thug kneeling, hands splayed out in front of him. Aben stepped behind the man and snapped his sword across his neck in The Charioteer Cracks His Whip. He finished by wiping his blade on the corpse's coat and rammig his sword back into its sheath with Folding the Fan.

Aben smoothly drew his blade and fell into fighting stance. "Care to dance?" he asked, smiling wolfishly.

Doc nodded, "I'll send a letter as soon as were done here." Draug's plan was a good one, ~~~ Jamie cocked her head slightly, "What about your powers?" she asked, almost in jest, "Could you fly us back or something?"

Aben looked on flatly. He'd seen a lot and this wasn't new to him. "Right. When do we go?"

Cakuin grinned wickedly at her captor before aiming a kick at her head.

"Um..." Jamie ran a hand through her hair, "No. I should've thought about that." she smiled sheepishly.
