Jamie grinned, holstering her pistol" Word gets around. Someone sent a distress call, and I was the only one in town to respond. I'm Jamie, by the way, and this is Cassie."

"Probably. There aren't any here in Seattle at the moment, but we always have a few locked up somewhere."

"Rusts and ruin!" Jamie swore, then cringed, "Sorry. But, it looks like you scared them off."

Jamie was slowly walking further into the park when she was almost plowed down by a small group of people. "Hey!" she shouted, "Watch-" she was cut off by a blast of energy slamming into one of the group, knocking her over. She started, dropping her helmet and running towards the source of the blast. Jamie stepped up across from a young woman, perhaps a few years her junior. "Who are you?" she asked coldly, drawing her gun, "And what was that?"

Doc smiled. "There are ways to trap an Unmade, as I'm sure you know. If we were to do that, we'd need a perfect gemstone. I could get one, given about a month." he shrugged, "But that's just a thought."

Jamie shrugged, but parked the motorcycle andgot off. She took her helmet off and shook her hair out before stepping slowly into the park. ""Hello?" she called, "Anybody here?" @Hope Spren

"Probably" Jamie sped up and almost crashed into a lamppost. She swerved around it, giving a shout of "Sorry!" to Cassie. The source of the light turned out to be park nestled in the middle of the suburbs. "What do you think? Should we wait or go in?"

Jamie glanced over her shoulder at Cassie, flashing her a grin. "Good spot Cass." she peered at the lights, slowly driving closer. Another flash lit up a street a few blocks away. "Looks kind of like a strobe light..." Jamie muttered, "Only...."

Hold on... I thought that garnets were more of a purplish color, while rubies were actually red.

"Ypu mean James?" Doc asked, a smile on his face.

"I don't know much about magic." Aben sighed, "Light, I barely understand how my own powers work. But I do know a bit about power.... The Scarlets will be looking for some way to show off after last night. They probably want to prove that thaey can equal the Farriers and gain back support."

Jamie started the bike with roar and slowly guided it out of the garage. "Cass, you might want to hold on!" she said loudly, before gunning the engine and shooting down the driveway. Pewter kept her balanced and in control as they sped across the city. A little bit later, they arrived at the location she'd been sent. "Well, this is where we're supposed to pick them up. You see anyone, Cass?" Jamie asked, surveying the scene. @Hope Spren

"Well," Jamie scanned the workbench, "Keys are on the table." she scooped up the keys, "And helmets too." she began trying various helmets on, before finding one that fit her. Grinning, she jumped on the motorbike and looked at Cassie expectantly.

Jamie stepped into the garage, raising an eyebrow at the various vehicles stuffed within. Carefully stepping around the husk of a Jeep Willys, she spotted a WWII era motorbike standing next to a workbench with a number of tools, along with a few helmets. "Found it, Cass!" she called.

Thesis time. If you just say 'I win', you're invite people to respond to you, therefore spoiling your attempted win. Saying 'I win' basically guarantees that you won't win. Now, if you say something no-one can respond to, something so extremely (Insert adjective here) that it scares everyone else on the thread to cease posting altogether, then you win. You have to work smarter, not harder, to win this game. -
