  1. You can also just be unstable. Less of a foothold, but still a way for Ruin to worm his way in, But, in response, the original thing, no, it was just Yeden being overconfident due to Kell letting him believe that he could pass Allomancy on to the soldiers and had done so already so that they could not lose.
  2. Since I'm back to actually writing, if y'all are still accepting new people, I'd be down. Yes, I am aware of the last time this thread was posted on.
  3. It's more...a bunch of ground sausage. Not like an actual sausage. Those are only good breakfast food on campouts or with a good massive breakfast.
  4. Good choice on the Lightweaver thing! What's your favorite magic system in the cosmere? Would you like a piece of monkey bread? (Hi Lunamor!)
  5. I don't think Autonomy has been Invested enough on Scadrial for long enough to affect the magic, particularly since Feruchemy's use has been around longer than the common uses of Allomancy and Hemalurgy (particularly Hemalurgy, though Allomancy has undergone many changes over time). Feruchemy is the power of the merging of Preservation and Ruin because it doesn't interact with either Shard's power directly. Allomany is end-positive, with things gained from Preservations power, while Hemalurgy is end-negative, with power decaying and benefiting Ruin. With Feruchemy, there is no extra power, there is no loss of power, there is only a change in when, how, and how much is being used of that attribute.
  6. "Sure! The boards on the back wall are what you're looking for. The left board is offered jobs, the right board is people offering their services for someone to select."
  7. I don't know if I'd put Scadrial on the low side with the ettmetal stuff.
  8. "She can take care of herself. Burning holes in things is fun, too, but I guess I'll hold off for now," Okame said, matching steps with Lita.
  9. Allez les gauchers! A bas les droitiers!
  10. I don't blame you! I'd love to have myself Feruchemical Electrum powers. Or brass. Or like...all of them, preferably.
  11. You'll get it eventually. Welcome to the Trell is Autonomy crew, though! Sadly we may not get answers on that until Era 3, as BSandy has said that's when most of the Trell stuff will be taking place. So what's your favorite magic system Sanderson has made?
  12. Yeah, the issue that he always survives is part of it. He's more likely to metaphorically jump in front of a bullet to save the others than let anyone else sacrifice themselves to do so. There's only so many times you can do that before the raw odds overcome you. Yes, he is hard to kill, but at this point, everyone on the other side knows that, and they'll try even harder to kill him due to his repeated foiling of their efforts. They're levelling their best efforts to take him off the field, along with Dalinar, and since he's still on the "Protecting Dalinar" kick, both he and Szeth are probably going to die in that pursuit.
  13. Oh you might be in for a ringer, then, because Kaladin might be one of the least-likely-to-survive characters unless his fourth Oath helps him with his savior complex. If it doesn't, he's likely to sacrifice himself.
  14. That is a...very long list of equations to do that. Nice work though!
  15. I would not. I think he wants us to think Lift is gonna be there until the end but he's gonna yank the rug out from under us. Then again, I'm notoriously bad at accurately predicting Sanderson Twists, so don't take my word for it.
  16. Probably likely, given the intervening events.
  17. He knows the name, but he doesn't know about Adonalsium. As far as Dalinar is aware, it was just gibberish.
  18. Kind of! It's not that large, but yeah, it's a bunch of bacon interlaced with other bacon.
  19. I wouldn't be so sure. BSandy isn't afraid to kill someone that you think is unkillable. The only one on that list that I think will 99% likely be alive at the start of 10 is Renarin.
  20. Welcome to the Shard! May I interest you in some wonderful baked goods? I have monkey bread!*DA Disclaimer applies
  21. IT IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE I'VE HAD IT ON THREE OCCASIONS! Nauseating? *gasps dramatically* HOW DARE YOU? I'll have you know it's the finest of dining. Don't have to break any laws of physics! Even if that makes it more fun, physics is for chumps! Just need some toothpicks, a lot of bacon, and the knowhow to weave bacon mats is all. Why not just put it on a sandwich or in a burrito? Those are both valid uses.
  22. You should read the glimpse we got in the most recent newsletter, if you haven't already. I think you'll like it.
  23. Y'all think breakfast burritos are good? I'd be inclined to agree with you, except for one thing: BACON EXPLOSION! @Lunamor and @Keeper Exile what do y'all think about that? (Apologies if you can't eat it) If you don't know what it is:
  24. We're all forgetting something very simple in the breakfast equation. Specifically two things: bagels and breakfast burritos.
