Welcome to the shard.. I also used to think that I am the only fan of Brandon where I come from. But you might be pleasantly surprised here like me.. Not much likelihood of Brandon visits here either.. so please share your favourite book and favourite character

The reason I think that voidblades have not been formed yet is because I believe, as I have argued before, that voidbinding may be something difficult to achieve and to build the strength enough that spren is that strongly pulled into the PR to form a blade. It requires a desired mental state attuned to odium’s passions instead of oaths. But human emotions are variable. How do you keep someone feeling same all the time. May be tough for odium to do it from Braize.

@Karger it is not clear what is your argument.. you have not raised any counter points to my post where I have explained in detail how the emphasis on rules and laws and growth of the ones above indicate a Rosharan way of thinking .. you seem to be arguing that Scadrials are interested in aviars based on what evidence? There is no proof that ones above have even shown any such interest. And anyway any alien species might be interested in them which is true of Rosharan also since they already have weird birds. Too many assumptions on your part.. different people in a group might have multiple goals while working towards a single unified goal. what law catching up to them are you talking about? Please clarify..

I was restricting to PR to CR and then back to PR with some near light travel in CR but if they create mini perpendicularity.... that is more interesting... I have always believed that each order has one primary surge which they get sooner and are more proficient at. But, surge of gravity alone does not fit. Both Windrunners and Skybreakers seem to master gravity first..

@Pathfinder very well articulated post.. I agree with you 100%. I think it is made quite clear that Surge of transportation will allow teleportation via CR. Jasnah has already done it but it can be made to work in a way that it is almost instantaneous travel which for people in PR will look like disappearing in one place and immediately appearing in the other. Brandon has also confirmed that oathgates work on the principal of surge of transportation. @Honorless your concern regarding the transfer of matter has been now addressed the OP has posted the wob mentioning that Jasnah was able to transfer her body to the CR. It was not destroyed and was not needed to be remade. I do believe now, after a lot of discussions on other threads, that transportation will work via CR on Roshar but since it is going to happen at near light speed, for all intents and purposes, it will appear instantaneous in PR. and as discussed before, dalinar summoning perpendicularity is not easy and is very taxing on him, so we can rule it out. Also, the reason why elsecallers got the job for primary liaisons with sprens over willshapers is because both their surges heavily involve either travelling to CR or looking into it.

Elsecallers for both.. I like both the surges, I have always wanted surge of transportation, @Pathfinder agree with you as you know, on what it will do for this order, and soul casting... plus I think the ideals will be something about logic or pragmatism and I think it will work for me.

@Honorless Well if it is not god beyond, then it is most likely one of the other two messing with dalinar since you are rejecting my idea of tanavast CS.. I really don’t think a fourth shard is involved here.. wait.. although now that I think about it, I am down for it being autonomy. bright light, warm feeling...

I think that the bright light and source of warmth may be different from God beyond. It could be the remnant of Honor merged with Stormfather or may be Tanavast cognitive shadow that dalinar is perceiving..

Agreed. Also, fused have not bonded any spren. I see them more of herald equivalent, where also there was no spren bond. Any forms of power that singers get, i believe comes from lesser voidspren, no shardblades possible here either. And Renarin has bonded a corrupted spren but his shardblade looks perfectly normal, so, i don't think that it is a voidblade at all. Plus, it works oathgates which i don't think a voidblade should be able to do.. What I am extremely curious to see is, if, the truer voidspren like ulim, yixli etc can form something similar to nahel bond? (the mechanism of that would be very different, seeing as they will not care about oaths, instead emotions/passions) but could there be a bond between them and humans.. why not? what type of bond will that be? if it is possible, why is there none as of now? and will that grant the human voidblades?

So you are saying that storing stormlight would require more than what OP suggested and even then, infinite supply of Stormlight would not be possible?
