I think that Roshar already has enough relations with Nalthis that an alliance might be worked out. We have zahel and vivenna. And nightblood knows people on Roshar too. Might talk in their favour too.

Granted you meet a big cat, in fact a jungle cat. It has very good attitude, as in, it does not eat you after it killed you. I wish for rhythm of war SA4 to be delivered to me tonight, full final published version. -

They say it is their fourth home. So they are cosmeric nomads.. -
Every society no matter How Simple or complex, has some laws and some means of reinforcing those laws. But the ones above have specific laws or you can say an honor code that they adhere to which does not allow them to openly interact with societies who are not at a minimum threshold of development. Also, they are willing to provide seeds to the inferior society in helping them progress enough that they can surpass the required threshold set by their laws so then they can openly engage in taking over the said world. Therefore, laws every world has, but not every worlds laws are going to be so focused on honor, development and ensuring the development and then conquering the fots. So, it is, in my opinion, a very Rosharan way of thinking, a Roshar deeply influenced by both honor and cultivation. But we also know that they are not the only world who is going to achieve FTL travel. There are going to be other worlds too. And if Scadrial is first in that list then Roshar is also a close second. As far as the magic system is concerned, Roshar magic system with- surges of gravity, adhesion, transportation + oathgates have all the ready ingredients for FTL travel. Also, Scadrial in terms of technology has developed flight whereas Rosharans have instantaneous travel via oathgates already! Who is more advanced then? plus I think Scadrial is too obvious an answer and that is not Brandon’s style. I disagree. It is not a conspiracy Which might leak!! it is a well thought and deliberately executed strategy on the part of the ones above, that is one of the little quirks of Rosharans that they love to set rules and then see how to circumvent them. In fact I think it is very in line with cultivation too. Leave seeds around, And then what happen, may happen. So, leave some machine and instructions, let them develop on their own, very cultivationy. Remember, she sits in the valley with NW and let’s her grant boons and banes to whomever comes their way voluntarily. She is a master of this type of manipulation. None of this screams harmony to me. I don’t see him even encouraging any conquests to begin with. So, any conquests they may set out on will be done by Scadrials on their own and I don’t see that Scadrials will really care at all about going this round about way in order to conquer this world.

Is it so? Is there any wob you are basing this on? because i thought he had already been imprisoned even before he created fused. Imprisoned as in that he is Roshar system locked and he can not escape until honor (or may be cultivation) releases him... Oathpact led to Honorblades, but, Oathpact was about imprisoning the fused. I think there is some relation between the two imprisonments of the Odium and fused, but is there any confirmation that both happened at the same time or that odium was trapped later? Do you think that Honor creating honorblades is basically him splintering himself? If that is so, then may be odium did have the opportunity but does not want to splinter himself even the tiniest bit to create odiumblades on the same lines of Honorblades. He is the broken one as it is, from the various shard-altercations, may be he fears/knows that doing so, will weaken him and is not worth the advantage it will gain him! Also, what do you think of the Blade used to kill Jezerein, Do you think it qualifies for being an Odiumblade? Do you think what happened at the battle for Thaylen City, finally forced odium to create an Odiumblade..?

My money is on Roshar as well. In addition to all the points already mentioned, Also note that Rosharans also come with a lot of Shardblades, the likes of which no other Shardworld possesses. Nalthis has Nightblood but it is still one blade and one which requires a lot of breath to fuel it and if run out if fuel, could be very fatal to its holder. And there are not many people who can hold it in the first place and not kill themselves. For scadrials, they have use of bullets but those you can run out of. And even aluminium bullets can be very costly and therefore very limited. Secondly, there is the matter of Shardplates. I agree that they might be affected by bullets but we will also have a lot of alive new shardplates, who i think if damaged can be very easily repaired. thirdly, not only soulcasters and soulcasting but Rosharans have Regrowth also. Only other world who can easily heal others is Sel but i think there Aon based healing is much more complicated and requires a lot of expertise as compared to Regrowth. Although i believe that awakening can lead to healing others but that as of now, Nalthians are not aware of, so it is ruled out. And then what all the singers can do, with all those songs that they have about different forms, if we have access to all of them here, then i think Roshar is quite unbeatable in the long run or the short run.

Not me, Crazy iriali's religion might be saying this. I also hope that he had something much more epic planned!! Hoid, i hope, sheds some light on his own plans.. I doubt even he knows what Adonalsium intended -

There are wobs that suggest that splintered shards could be re-united.. Unfortunately that means he might not be rid of Odium either..! If at all, all the shards are combined back together, i really doubt that it will be exactly same as it was before.. -

haha.. point conceded.. She does deserve credit for Dalinar though.. Behind every successful man there indeed is a woman, or shard or both.. -

Aon Tia replied to Lunu’anaki's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Now. yes most definitely.. She might start something new. but that valley visit i think has concluded nicely... Lol.. agreed but too indirect a connection though.. Then everything that he does or has done, can be credited to her meddling. He was able to do it because a. taravangian talked to him and told him how spren are captured in fabrials and b. i assume that he knows the contents of gem archive and figured about BAm and melishi, not sure though... and c. this is something that bondsmiths can just so.. so he figured it out instinctively.. -
Savantism resulting from regrowing her hair again and again only. changing hair colour of Royal locks is not actively doing magic, it is more similar to breath auras. Changing hair colours do not cause her to be hungry either. Regrowing her hair, is not something she has been doing for years, back in Idris. It is something she has started doing now, in hallendren, i think give her time, may be in the next book, we might learn of some bad consequences from it..

By primary surge, what i essentially believe is that the system of oaths is set in a way that 1 surge is mastered first and then as you progress beyond 3rd oath, you become more proficient at the second too. Although you had access to both surges from the beginning. As @Pathfinder has already pointed out that there are exceptions like Dalinar because he has seen kaladin do some adhesion or he has been told by kaladin what adhesion is. So, he knows about it and since his perception matters, as wobs suggest, so he is doing adhesion first. he can not do tension because he has not seen it, till that vision. Kaladin was doing adhesion untill he saw Szeth and then devoted most of his energies into learning gravity. It is possible that Jasnah is just more proficient at Soulcasting and it is not an order-wide thing.. but it could be too. Elsecallers may be named such because they were the prime liaisons to CR and not because they were more proficient at transportation than willshapers...

speculation Adonalsium and how he may have tricked the Shards
Aon Tia replied to Lunu’anaki's topic in Cosmere Discussion
May be.. But how i see it is, that she took his memories - boon, kinda and then gave them back to him one by one slowly at the right time- bane. All of this, so he gets the capability to become a better version of himself- cultivating him in a desired direction, which led him to get the actual Boon - forgiveness, that he originally asked for ! I do not think she did anything more to Dalinar at that moment. She was extremely cautious and knew she might be handing over a powerful weapon to Odium. Whether now, that Dalinar has passed his ultimate test with regard to Odium, now, she will re-acquaint herself with Dalinar, May be.. But what she did to him in the valley in that one visit, i dont see anymore consequences from that. I think capturing unmades is a power that every Bondsmith possesses e.g. BAM was trapped by melishi. -
I like it... combos.. let me think.. Windrunners/dustbringers = flying plus fire = you have equivalent of fire breathing dragons.. (wait, is that what skybreakers will be, i like the idea of skybreakers causing lightning.. they literally break the sky!!) edgedancer/elsecaller = lift can slide jasnah across the battlefield and jasnah will touch soldiers turning them into stone/crystal/fire windrunners/lightweavers = as if flying army was not deadly enough but which ones are real
-
Starving herself to death, by re-growing her hair daily? I don't think so, she can always get more food. Lift has more chances of dying of starvation than Siri. She metabolises food into investiture far more often than Siri.. I think that the danger could be something more.. It is magic that she is doing on a daily basis.. there could be other consequences..

I doubt that. It might be easier for a willshaper to work it out, it being their primary surge.. but i think both orders will be able to work it out. If there really are mini-perpendicularity involved, then cost is going to the main inhibition here which will prevent it from being Super OP. @Pathfinder thanks for the ideas on the primary vs secondary surges, I did not take into account how szeth influenced kaladin's view of his surges and nudged him towards and expertise in gravity whereas consciously he had used adhesion first, i like it. i dont think any fresh calculations are needed for oathgates to function between the 10 cities, but if a new city with a new oathgate were to be added in the future then we will need to do the calculations and program them accordingly anew. but i do not see that happening anytime in the near future, may be around mistborn era 3 time, Rosharans will have the tech to work it out. I also do not think that any calculations will be needed by the radiants if we are creating mini-perpendicularities to the SR and using Connection to the desired destination.
