    He kills shards but leaves the shardworld as they are. But now, he has expressed that he will be making significant changes to this realm, whatever that might entail, before leaving and will take cultivation out too. So, honor did play the gambit and people of Roshar stand to loose much more than those on Sel or threnody if they should lose.

    How do you guys think Nalthis might achieve FTL? There magic seems to be least explored and I can not think of how awakening might help.... any ideas..

    The lack of desolations type events, no shattered plain type typography....That is why I had always thought that Sel and threnody happened much quickly, I never thought that he spent that much time there as he has on Roshar.... I thought he got wounded and decided to change tactics with Roshar, because he got wounded and realised he can not keep doing this and hope to survive....

    I would say so but in this case the irradiation is slowly happening as compared to threnody.. As to the signs of this scale of war, you mean physical signs? I think on threnody we have not been much anywhere, may be the bigger continent.. the EVIL might be a result of it too..

    I really doubt that.. Unless we learn that forgery and it’s full potential has not been explored. But if he is saying that they are as same as windrunners and lightweavers are to each ohh thy er, then I think we can safely assume they are different.. how you access magic to bring about the desired results is very important.. there source is all the same but still..

    Possible. I suppose if silverlight scholars develop FTL, which why not, it would be using this method only. Wow.. I think space era is going to be amazing!!

    It would be very interesting if the planet does pass through the cognitive anomaly. Imagine all the weird stuff that might happen every year once in Nalthis? Some weird festival to mark the occasion... more weird visions? more returned during that time?

    Granted you are Nohadon, you will write ways of kings and become the greatest author of all times on Roshar! I wish for the ability to breath on land as well as underwater whenever I wish.

    I think that the shardic fight around the system and ambition’s slow disintegration could have led to a lot of her investiture into leaking into the threnody slowly. It may be possible that a lot of natural stuff has got invested and is glowing.

    Yup that is possible too. I also like the idea that odium and ambition fought around threnody. And he got wounded which could mean some bits of him and ambition fell in threnody.. and together represent revenge or wrath which is how I see the shades behaving.. but pure speculation..

    It is just an idea and I might be wrong but I thought I will mention it still. There are wobs that day that odium has invested on all the planets he visited briefly to kill these shards like he has in Rosharan system. So, I find it a very big coincidence that we have shades in threnody which is actually people who die and can not pass on. They seem very odious to me. And we have fused on Roshar who are again people he gave the power to not pass on. so, I agree with OP that it indeed is a failed experiment but not by ambition but by odium, an experiment that he greatly improved upon in Roshar with fused. That goes with the idea that these shades have been around a very very long time too..

    Yes there must be and not all of them would be part of Ire. But @Honorless, since the magic is region locked, these worldhoppers will not have access to magic. How then, do you suppose this helps the idea that Ones above are from Sel?

    I think it was a white tree branch that was from yolen. We don’t know the significance of it. It might have some magical properties
