Very interesting ideas @teknopathetic and @Gilphon Now that I have read about it, something really weird is indeed going on with time specially around the palace and the oathgate platform! Earlier I had thought that the people on oathgate were simply in a trance like state but since the trapped soldiers were also confused about time, yes, I think some time dilation is going on. Yup seems very plausible. And may be he kept the soldiers from dying also because he was convinced that he will eventually break them and they will join his revel. @Gilphon oh man!! The idea of unmade resonances is terrifying but makes so much sense at the same time. I mean why not!

Yea so although the bands grant powers of a fullborn and those powers are significant but in terms of pure investiture, shardblades are way above bands. And medallions will not even compare a tiny bit. What about fabrials and medallions then? Since fabrials have actual lesser spren trapped in them, they should have significantly higher levels of investiture as compared to medallions! But an oathgate has only a bonded spren type of deal and not an actual trapped spren, so in and of itself, oathgates have much less investiture ? but they require shardblades to function, but they don’t actually consume the shardblades so the use of shardblade is more of a security feature only.

I could not agree with you on each of these !! Moash is really on a very very bad downward spiral right now! And Taravangian!! Thank you for saying taravangian!! I agree with you totally. You would be surprised but not many hate him!! straff is certainly the most clear villain villain character in cosmere! He had nothing redeemable about him in my eyes! How good a person must his wife be, to have Straff get a fine son like Elend!!
