  1. Hmm I forgot that odium said that about sadeas’s forces, yes we can presume then that he had Sadeas as a pawn too. May be Amaram was mocked by Hoid during those feasts in WoR but I do not remember it specifically on-page but you are right. I still think though, that neither Sadeas nor Amaram ever paid much mind to Wit and I don’t really think they ever realised that he is of any importance. I also don’t think that that was a very prominent position to hold for Hoid. It could have been a politically useful post but I don’t think anyone in Alethkar considered Wit to have any such power. So I doubt they ever told Odium about Wit. That being said, I concede that it is very possible that odium knows Hoid is on Roshar somewhere but I really doubt that he knows about Hoid being the Alethkar Kings Wit
  2. I absolutely loved him before but this made me love him more !! I did not guess the radiancy part but I knew if Hoid says he is special then he is special!!
  3. There is a mistborn prime? I thought there is only a book 2 alternate ending!? And what is mythwalker?
  4. I don’t think that Sadeas worked for odium so u see no chance of that. And Amaram came to shattered plains very late and I do not remember any interactions that he had with Hoid at all. T again does not know or ever met kings wit either. The 3 worldhoppers I think might know how to be discreet. They also are no close to finding Hoid at all. And odium being actually based on Braize I think is much less aware of things
  5. Not exactly what I thought this topic is going to be after reading the topic heading “ lightweavers potential”
  6. Which such character are you thinking of? Is there any specific one in your mind?
  7. I think there are wobs that day that Adonalsium was always Adonalsium etc but he did not deny the possibility of forces outside the cosmere. ok here:
  8. Wow. I think I have told you before that please do not pass your judgements before reading the entire book. Not every heist story is oceans 11. And the other 5 books are not at all what you think! Seriously? Why not just focus on the book you are reading and worry about the others later. Lol.. made me laugh so much!
  9. That does make sense. We already suspect that odium does not see and sense everything that happens on Roshar. He depends on his fused and unmade and other spy network to collect info. I mean if he does not even know which order does Shallan belong to then he probably can not learn about Hoid either. It is possible that he can directly influence o. Roshar only during Everstorms
  10. I don’t really think odium knows. It is unclear but it does not appear that odium is looking for him. Besides we know that Hoid can definitely go undetected if he wants. Which makes me wonder if Hoid had wanted endowment to know about his appearance for some reason.
  11. @Tglassy Glad to find you here. I agree with you that these books are not about normal people fighting magical beings. These books are about radiants and I would not be at all surprised that Adolin will have some radiant like stuff happening for him after he revived maya and I think I would love to read about it.
  12. It starts like that but that is not all that it has
  13. I remember Reading wobs that suggest as much
  14. Yes a crack probably can be managed using the way you are thinking, but what about the mindset that is also required to attract a spren’s attention?
  15. Is he a villain or is he a good person? I am worried that I might not like the answers I will get when it does come out!!
  16. Well of ascension at the time of era 1 ?
  17. No to both Clue 5: This character is yet to have a pov but it will happen
  18. I did not realise these things in TFE to be honest I still don’t see him as entirely evil. He is a bit whacky but he is also shown to be loyal towards his crew, trusts them and they trust him. He helped Vin, shared full information with her about her powers and gains her trust, becomes her mentor. He wants to help so many downtrodden skaa and TLR does come across as pure evil in TFE. I agree that he put Vin in danger but he seemed genuinely regretful of that too. I don’t know, I saw him as a brilliant crazy fellow kind of someone on the line there, but someone who is basically good because his goals are for the good. But I see where you are at with him as a villain after SH, so kuddos to you for seeing it from the beginning
  19. Agreed but what I was trying to say is, we, as a reader, do not really realise that while we read TFE. This concern is raised by his crew members and we do begin to question his intentions, but by then he went and got himself killed. Which is both extremely selfless of him, I mean he got himself killed, but also selfish because he literally started a religion in his name! His sacrifice, which restored my faith in his goodness at the end of TFE was Undermined by him when he chose not to pass on, my faith in his goodness was shattered when I read Secret History. That is when i realised that ok, he is not exactly a good person either. Basically yes, he is one of those bad people who luckily for everyone were on the good side.
  20. That might have already begun once he reads OB that Dalinar wrote and begins to question the Alethi way of thinking and Alethi justifications for violence and murder. So far, he is not like most Alethi’s In some aspects but in many, he is like them too.
  21. Limited not in ability but more like limited in his imagination
  22. Hmm I don’t really think that Kelsier in book 1 counts as a villain. Welcome to the shard @ctonicmenace
