Wow. This Dark Constable guy is in a deep need to talk with Kalladin about how wrong and evil is his Windrunners power. Two interludes that he gave a hard time to weak people that are discovering their surge powers, I would like see him do this with someone that know defend themselves. I serius deslike this dude.

It's just a guess. But to me he Skybreakers would get the eletromagnetic surge and gravity, but you could be correct after all,was you said the glyphs are commonly, but not always, stylized in a way to portray their meaning I'm not holding my breath in this one=) Let's wait and see after the Seatle signing. Im curious about the questions that will be asked =)

Just a guess, but if you look closely to the surge glyphs in the Windrunner Order (Gravity and Atmosferic Pressure), you can notice two things: The top one looks like something is "expanding" from bottom-top. The bottom one looks like something is being pulled top-bottom direction. The "Word of Sanderson" said that the glyphs represent things in a "abstract way" that, sometimes, only the person that know what the glyph meaning can understand. So I'm guessing that the top one is Atmosferic pressure, and the bottom one is Gravity. So the Skybreaker would get gravity was a surge. Another thing is that the growth glyphs sure looks like something growing check it out. I allways forget this one, tks for the reminder =)

I Think that The Weak/atomic force surge could generate heat by acceleration or deceleration of the atoms. This would be my best guess, because to burn rocks like the radiants do in the preface you would need hundreds of Cº to do the trick, but I'm only guessing. In true I'm waiting someone ask Brandon if electromagnetic forces and weak/strong force are really surges like he said. We allready have confirmed was surges: Transformation, Light, Growth, *edited*, Gravity, Atmosferic Pressure. If we add the surges of: Eletromagnetic Force Weak/Strong Atomic force (heat/fire if you care) And Travel Just remain one surge to be discovered, and i guess that this surge is related wit earth, like sismic power or something because none fit with the stonewards in my opinion.

Could I sugest that we presetend a Table of Surges/Orders with all information about surges and orders confirmed and the and speculation, to try discover as much as possible? I like this idea. One thing I'm sure, the blade is big part of the equation. Another thought I had that I never was able to associate with any theory, is that in some part Szeth says that he can't hold stormlight perfectly that only a "voidbringer" could do so. But the Shins have a very antogonic view of things, like when they consider walk in stone or use stomlight a sin. So maybe, to the Shins, the "voidbringers" are in reality the Radiants. This would explain why to then a shardblale are a pronafy terrible thing, and Kaladin, in his "Level 2 Super Radiant Mode" apparently can hold stomlight many times better than Szeth, what make me believe that a full radiant could hold perfectly. There goes more crazy thoughts =)

Maybe we're looking by the wrong angle. Maybe Szeth's blade, (that many think is the Jezrien's Honor Blade) is what make him be honorable. I allways thought strange the Shin give a shardblade as a punishiment, so maybe is the bond with the sword that make him be "honorable". Think about, it's said that that anyone could take a Honorblade, and the heralds discarded theirs blades in the moment that them deserted. The honorblades are likely a heavy investeded objects, so maybe each blade bond the user to the ideal that them represent. Jezrien ideal is honor, so maybe Szeth is honor bonded to do was he do because he carry the "Honor ideal" honorblade.

I'm only guessing but growth isn't a more abstract force like transformation ? So far this surge is used to accelarate the growth of plants and accelerate the body healing, what I can't associate with any natural force. So maybe transformation is similar and aren't associeted with a natural force like the others surges.

I think that the Transformation surge is more a cognitive/spiritual thing after all its called soulcast, and when Shallan do her Calice/Blood transmutation she talk with the soul/cognitive idea of the calice. I never agreed with this heat\fire surge argument is too much direct, Sanderson never used the simple classic elements in his magic sytems. The Dustbringers "burn surge" must be some of indirect force. like weak/strong atomic force or/and friction like already was said.

Windrunners and Skybreaker - Are the top right Symbols, fact confirmed by Mr. Sanderson - Their Theme is Air, Sky Stonewards are confirmed the top left order, and if I'm correct the Dustbringers are the Kalek order (in the preface this is the only order that he notice,what could be a sign that this order is the one associated with him) - Their Theme would be Earth. Shallan order are the Lightwavers, and in the prologue of the book 2 Jasnah shadow act strange and she can cast "lightning soulcaster rays". Their theme would be Light/Darkeness =)

In terms of raw power, just a "Modern Shardplate" would be almost be impossible too deal to a mistborn, coins, pewter, glass weapons? Poor Vin, she would be in deep trouble. In comparasion just a good and old punch, like the one that almosted killed Szeth, would be enough to deal with almost any Allomancer.

You are completly right. We only know the most basic information, about the Radiant magic sytem and fabrial science. And by what Mr. Sanderson said he haven't showed the "voidbringer" magic. Roshar magic sytems looks more complex than Allomancy =)
