How would you know what alignment the seeker had? Just look at LG74 or even AG8, where an Elim scanned a player to pocket them. Like, you don't inherently know the alignment of a scanner, and you should always make sure you village read the scanner before you trust them. I don't know why they revealed that they a) have a scanner and b) that they scanned me, but I assume it's to try and attempt to pocket a relatively powerful role. I guess it's too late to play the optimal move now /shrug Idk who they scanned c1. I haven't asked.

Yeah someone I mildly suspect scanned me as village mistborn so I suspect the Elim team already knows anyways. Of course, I'm not going to out the scanner in thread, in the unlikely event that they're a villager.
