Elim. Hence the point on my opinion on them being Coinshot. From my perspective it's V-V, though, so not necessarily condemning. But the way it was clearly phrased to be essentially "I choose Dragonfly over Penguin" when I hadn't done much to deserve it was... could be setting up that E!Ostrich implies E!Penguin view from people. Maybe. ... could have sworn it was on Dragonfly at some point. No, it was briefly, just not at the end. Right. And sort of the point with why people want a Me Shot, yeah, I would have died if not for Ostrich - but my not-so-biased opinion is that that says more about Ostrich than me. But I also wouldn't have died if not for Flamingo putting me in the lead in the first place, so I'm curious about that too. Leads and crannies and bowstrings and potions. Much to do.

I'm going to go with a bit of a weird tack here, but bear with me. Why? When you voted on me, the only thing you had to add was "Let’s see something here." I had 3 votes at the time, tied with Charcoal Hyena - it wasn't exactly a new train, and you instead broke it for a fully aimed execution on me, without much else of a reason. Then End of Day passed, I'm not dead, and now you still want a Coinshot on me. I'm not saying it's a terrible idea. Objectively, probably better for there to be another Village Mistborn than me, as much as I would like to keep playing. But I'm curious why you specifically want the Coinshot on me specifically. (@Pearl Chameleon , kinda goes for you too, but you also explained in your post somewhat... although you also voted Dragonfly so either way.) In case anyone wants the target's opinion, I'm more curious about Fuchsia Ostrich. Interesting decision, quite late in the cycle, and I'm rather curious what the decision-making process was on saving me and adding a few late reads. I may not want to die, but I don't know why anyone would really want to save me.

Not me, putting Amber Vulture and Saffron Iguana on the same read tier because "they're both yellow avatars and I reread and can't tell which is which". (I have a better idea now, but both stay somewhat null for me - good amount of posts / information in posts respectively, but there's not a lot that my sieve of a brain is picking out from either.) Edit (mark your edits by the way): ... how do you upload images without a URL? Something has happened.

Well for starters, I fell into a trap of “I’ll just do (thing) first, it won’t take long” and then it took far too long. I picked Weasel specifically, and hadn’t seen a reason to move. They logged on early (presumably) to view their role, but didn’t post for a while, even while having a unique CR that most others jumped to do. Maybe that’s faulty reasoning on my part (and maybe it applies to me a bit) but it is a reason. And nothing Weasel’s done has particularly shaken it. Going to be a bit more busy this afternoon but I’ll try and get some other reads in.

So. They'd lost their Coinshot. Murph wasn't sure what to make of that. Everything he'd been taught was to not put your faith in Mistings to get your job done. But Onidsen had proven himself in the tribulations of last year, and even if he didn't know him that well, he'd been... well, a hero. One who deserved his name written here. Murph dragged his saw through the ash-choked log with one more yank, watching the circle of wood crash to the ground. Welcome to Tyrian Falls. Where no one knows your name. Where heroes fall. Fall through a window, crashing, bowstring snapped - no, cut - Enough of that. Murph abandoned the start of the table he'd begun before the news broke, instead moving to the first of his three pet projects. He'd been an archer, back in the day, but the thing with archers was you couldn't pull them out of a crowd of townsfolk. Building that physique needed years of sustained practice, and that was just to draw. If they wanted projectiles that weren't dependent on their dwindling Coinshots, they'd need a different weapon. Hence the rack of Murph's own crossbows. There were only five on the rack so far - three more were hidden in various places, and one last was on his workbench with the final touches on the stock. Nine. Nowhere near enough for a troop, and would likely be as effective as throwing toothpicks for dealing with koloss. But it was better than nothing. And nothing was pretty close to what they had. Murph sighed, grabbing one of the better-looking crossbows and heading out into the town. Maybe the council would give him more hands to work on the arsenal. Ruin had given them a message, the Emperor an ultimatum. But for once, Tyrian Falls might just be ready for both.

Last night... Last night, he had been all set to flee. It had been too much, the uncertainty without, the lies within. And then... something shifted. He thought of the man on the road, Don Quixote, whose name he had stolen. He thought of the time they had walked together, the stories he had heard - what would the hero do here? He thought of the Spiked traitors he had helped expose - how many more could there be, really? He thought back, through all the lies, remembering his father. How would his father look at him if he knew Char had run, abandoning his friends to their deaths? He remembered himself. Why was he still running? Here was a chance to redeem himself. Daux had run from this town once before. He would not do it again. Char Treuce was done running.

I'm going to protect either myself or Swan - I'll flip a coin to decide which.

I didn't know you'd asked me for protection until after Rollover. I just protected you because I thought you'd been talking as if the Elims were planning to get rid of you soon, and I didn't like that plan. I think I submitted the protection order around the time I told you I had rolled Lurcher.

Sapphire Elephant. I think Swan's first post is very persuasive.

And food. He needed that to get out of this place, go hunt some koloss. You're not Donn Keihote. You were never him. You hush! You're wrong and I know it! Just because you knock out an old man and rob him blind doesn't mean you become him! But it's safer this way! It's so much safer this way! Don't you remember?
