The last E!Coinshot distro (or I assume the last, either way, I mean AG8) had two Village Lurchers, two Village Mistborn, and four Village Thugs. Granted, that seemed overtuned, but here we’ve got one of each. And the Elims here have a Seeker. And a Thug. And a Rioter. No way they have a Coinshot on top of that. Also, an E!Coinshot world would need one other Elim alive to submit their kill. And the Elim team betting everything on random power role claim #3 after two fake Mistborn would be… well I guess they’d need the risk. I’m more inclined to find one amongst the Vanilla Claims, or Swan. Maaaaybe Chameleon for an absurd long-con, or Lion for a distro where four Village Smokers actually is a much more massive detail. But Lion would mean the Elim team has more Vote Manip power than the Village ever did, and Chameleon would mean the Elim team had more Thugs than… Chameleon would give me a headache at this point. Hmmm. @Opal Lion, you claim not to have done the D1 Soothe on Swan, right?

Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr Murph was cutting a log with a saw. Ideally it would make another bolt for the ballistae, a weapon to use against the koloss. Something for the town. Realistically, it was a log sawn a third of the way through. He hadn’t made any progress in the last three hours. No weight was behind his cuts. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr He was under house arrest, or it certainly felt like he was. A few people had reassured him that he wasn’t under suspicion of being a Spiked, for all the nothing that meant. That they suspected the Endsayer too. It wasn’t the bloody Endsayer. It was Elephant. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr Elephant had been suspiciously quiet. Most of the town agreed. But he’d been innocent after all. … and he’d just been standing there, and Murph had shot him in the head. Bartelby was ultimately half of what Murph had suspected him to be, and killed by the Endsayer. The Endsayer was self-defense. Elephant? Elephant was murder. One more murder in the mess of Tyrian Falls executions and Spiked, maybe. But this one was him. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr Tyrian Falls. The town that crashes and curses and crumbles and takes. Aarne had been right about this place. He’d tried to talk to Murph earlier today. Murph hadn’t let him in the door. He didn’t want a lecture, to see how Aarne could try and see the point of view of a man who killed and killed. They’d both been killers, once. Guards, soldiers, Hazekillers, counter-Hazekillers… whatever they were called, whatever reason they each had for taking the job, at the end of the day that job was to kill. Aarne had found a better way to live. Murph had thought he had too. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr But here he was. Murph. Carpenter. Armorer. Hazekiller. Sniper. Smoker. Accuser. Abandoner. Murderer. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr Outcast. Ssshhhrrrr Ssshhhrrrr Sssssssshhhhhhhhhrrrrrcrack

Curious why you think Penguin and Alb could both be Spiked. I pushed Alb when Vulture was up for the exe and I was under my own somewhat-pressure from Chameleon. I feel like E!Penguin would have just sat on the Heron exe. Good to know on Lion. I'm also not too concerned about a ML (including a ML on me, potentially) but probably not good to push our luck. Zebra might misfire or Elephant, Crocodile, and friends could fall Village to the Activity Filter. *Doubt* Why did you quote the whole thing Fair enough. I swear someone tracked who was online at one point (I do too, sometimes, though I've gotten burned by it) but no idea who it was. Yeah I think it makes sense now. For those who don't know, I'm Smoker Four. Or Smoker Two, technically, because I think I claimed to Mouse before Hyena flipped and definitely before Weasel did, then Mouse mentioned knowing 3 Smoker claims/flips somewhere before Weasel died. One of the reasons I was more concerned about Seekers and Vote Manipulators than I might have been before. One of the Vulture voters was Smoked, so there could have been a bigger push there. Or not, no real way to know.

Megapooooost Sorry this is later than I wanted, I had to fix something real quick. ... I'm trying to parse this and it's not going well. I think the D1 E!Penguin argument is I'm voting alongside Vulture while only Villagers are voting me, and the D1 V!Penguin argument is that there was no Elim interference to save me unless you think E!Ostrich, and I think the consensus is pretty far from that. You've been tracking votes and things, do you happen to have who was online at that time? I'm not starting the Penguin Is Elim Counter again, but let's see from here. Yes, Ostrich could have saved me. Aside from that, do you have any reason for Ostrich to be Elim? Because they were the main pusher of Vulture last turn, and that's enough reason for a good bit of trust from me. As others have said, I've done more than that. NKA analysis isn't perfect but it does exist, and for what it's worth it did pick out Vulture as a Falcon shooter. I stand by the vote. Your flip would still be illuminating, and your Mistborn-that-was-Seeked claim wasn't holding up. I'm not pushing it anymore because I see it more as an unsuccessful gambit than as a backtracked claim, and because I honestly believe an Elim wouldn't do that. Were they incredibly detailed reasons? Maybe not. But they were reasons, and I had reasons for making them a bit hedgy - I was looking for the one person I thought could be the Seeker and be a Villager at the same time. I see that less of a defense of Vulture and more a suspicion of Iguana. Or, more accurately, a suspicion of the Soother who saved Vulture, who I suspected either was or was talking with Iguana. (And, as we'll get to, Lion claimed that Soothing.) I'm trying to figure out if this is E!Reading me for not getting saved by Elim vote manip. Opal Lion! ... well, I wish you'd claimed last night turn instead of after Vulture flipped Elim. But... hmm. Less suspicions of a potential Soother than some others. Opal Lion. Huh. Hadn't noticed that. So in that point of view, the Elims did nothing to save E!me D1? Lion's right that I wasn't an exe candidate until late D1, but iirc Vulture's vote on Dragonfly was far before then, would have to double check. Yes, because you claimed you knew a Coinshot N1 and were looking for reasons for them not kill me then. Not going to claim in a megapost but might soon, a few people know / knew. (Translation: Mouse knew, and may have told half the Village) Don't think this is a great reason to V!read me honestly. The post you linked was about me, not about Beagle. I don't think I've seen much on Beagle's response besides that you V!Read them. At that point in time I was either asleep or eating lunch. And for the past few hours I was dealing with personal things. I can't respond to a large series of posts at the drop of a hat. ^This, mostly. Not sure what my responding to case meta is. Probably more than normal, depending on a few things. For what it's worth, no idea who you are. I have a guess for... I think 2 dead and 3 living? But I prefer not to go with those in the spirit of an Anon game. (I think most players know who I am at this point, I haven't exactly been subtle about it. Could even make some arguments on my actions based on it, especially one specific one. But again, would prefer not to at this point.) Oof that was 4 hours ago. IRL go brrr. Going to post this and then continue re-reading from this point.

If we're both V, then I'd probably push Albatross again. Crocodile is another option, to see if we can get another active player and/or go after filter evasion. But I might be a bit preoccupied not getting exed this turn. The other option is go on a distro hunt for that Soother, but that's probably too complicated.

Where were either of these things? I thought that most of the "vote manipulation" D1 was just an error from the writeup. The final count left me tied without vote manip. Which, if we think an Elim Soother saved Vulture and we know Tuatara was an Elim Rioter, seems unlikely. And I've been pushing E!Soother most of this time. Huh. Wish I could say I saw that coming, but honestly could have gone a few different ways. Real Coinshot or one very lucky Mistborn?

Quick and dirty Mouse NKA Vulture, Scorpion, Penguin, Swan, Tuatara, Ostrich, Albatross, Crocodile, Flamingo, Lion, Beagle, Chameleon, Zebra, Iguana, Kangaroo, Meerkat, Elephant Taking out the more chronic inactives: Vulture, Scorpion, Penguin, Swan, Ostrich, Albatross, Crocodile*, Flamingo, Lion, Beagle, Chameleon, Zebra, Iguana, Kangaroo, Meerkat And taking out players who, IMO, wouldn't commit to a Mouse kill on only N2: Vulture, Scorpion, Swan, Ostrich, Albatross, Crocodile*, Flamingo, Lion, Chameleon, Zebra, Iguana, Kangaroo Honestly, could be pretty much anyone in that category up there. But one more thing possible. Taking out players who are in Mouse's Tier 1-2 V!reads from the last PM readslist: Vulture, Swan, Crocodile*, Lion, Chameleon, Zebra, Kangaroo The five bold (and Heron) were directly mentioned by Mouse as lower (but not directly Elim) reads. Lion and Zebra weren't, but there was an anendum that that leaned towards more an inactive / lower read. Idk, my skills at Mouse identification are lower. Croc is arguably inactive but has actually been signing on a decent amount. Perhaps active in PMs. Idk.

I guess more, I want to keep my options open. Vulture vs Heron was definitely a more thread-contested (or vote maniped) exe than Hyena vs Meerkat (and Iguana? I forget) or Dragonfly vs Penguin. If Vulture flips V, then you’re less likely to be Elim unless you actually are the Soother, or knew that the Soothing was locked in. And with that level of tinfoil, I’d probably go after Albatross or Meerkat or someone, or find a stronger player read. Haven’t found one of those in a bit. I suppose I can ask - what’s your opinion on the Soothing? Elim or Villager?
