  1. This is incredibly vague. If it's just being quiet and laying low a lot, I'm sure that's why I'm actually still alive. I'm not sure why you think Moghedien would not be in this game.
  2. Part of the reason I've been somewhat vague is because I thought I'd be a target. Female channelers are a decent threat to Lews since we are the only ones who can facilitate linking. I'm assuming the male channelers have better chances individually of being able to target Lews, but linking can help augment that. I was also mildly concerned that other forsaken MAY have had killing me as a wincon...I'm not exactly a popular character. That said, not much use in me hiding in my web any longer. I am Moghedien. I would greatly appreciate not being lynched today.
  3. So, it seems that Lews' crew (still unsure whether we're looking at just Lews or a team of sorts) has possibly been focusing on female channelers the past few cycles...my guess is that this is designed to reduce the chances of a good link being available. So, right now, here are my primary suspects: Tier 1: Charcoal, Azure Tier 2: Coral Tier 3: Emerald, Ivory Tier 4 (don't really suspect): Melon, Amethyst, Cream
  4. Every channeler should have access to linking. Assuming Fifth followed the lore, in order to link, you need a female channeler. I believe you must have at least one more female than male channeler for any circle with the exception that M-F, M-M-F, M-M-F-F circles are possible. And with the number of players, this is a moot point, but you must have a male channeler involved to go over 13 total channelers.
  5. Why have I spent a lot of time on lore and roles? Because it's fun...and because that's the only conversation I've been legitimately able to contribute to so far...and it's best able to help me win the game. My wincon is compatible with others', but it's rather helpful to know who those others are. FYI, my action from last cycle can be confirmed - I opened a PM with the Ostrich. I'm considering creating an alliance of birds to take over this game.
  6. So, there are four people who haven't claimed Forsaken at all... To be fair, I haven't explicitly claimed either...and I'm not 100% sure I want to give a name. (Given the lore behind this game - many of the Forsaken hated each other, I could see there being some win cons around killing other Forsaken...) Of the people who claimed, Indigo, Melon, Amethyst, and Cream are the only ones who have claimed a name...given no one has counter-claimed, I'm reasonably willing to accept those claims. Amber, Magenta, Fuchsia, and Azure have claimed unnamed Forsaken...Fuchsia and Azure specifically claimed female - which would be Graendel, Mesaana, Semirhage, or Moghedien. Charcoal, Coral, Emerald, and Ivory have not claimed anything as far as I've seen. Right now my vote apparently is on Magenta...which I feel is still reasonable (if this is a situation where Rand/Lews is just trying to survive, it would definitely be beneficial to throw out a vague claim that couldn't be immediately disproved)...but the Ivory lynch seems reasonable as well.
  7. OK, so there were 13 forsaken...of those, a few would have been dead by the time the events of The Lord of Chaos book took place. (Please excuse any spelling errors, I'm doing this mostly from memory) Aginor and Balthamel both were killed in book one and were brought back to life by The Great Lord as Osan'Gar and Aran'Gar. Ishamael was killed in book two and later brought back as Moridin, who was set in charge of the other forsaken (I think the title was called 'Nae'Blis' or something like that?) Asmodean was killed in either book five or book six..I think book five...and I believe with balefire, so he should not be present here. Lanfear was killed in book five I'm pretty sure, and later brought back as Cyndain Be'lal was killed by Moiraine's balefire in book three, so he should not be able to be present at this point So, the following my be alive here: Sammael Rahvin (I think he gets killed at the end this book...so he should still be alive) Moghedien Graendel Semirhage Osan'gar Aran'gar Demandred Moridin Cyndain Mesaana It's possible that Mazrim Taim may already be included in this group as well...so we may see him...and Padan Fain? Along with Rand. That would be my guess for most likely characters given people's comments so far. Claims so far? Aran'gar - Indigo Weasel Osan'gar - Melon Dingo Asmodean - Amethyst Scorpion Unnamed forsaken - Amber Vulture Unnamed forsaken - Mauve Crocodile - Shaidar Haran Unnamed female forsaken - Fuchsia Ostrich Unnamed female forsaken - Azure Mouse No claim: Charcoal Hyena Chartreuse Penguin Coral Swan Cream Tuatara Emerald Falcon Ivory Dragonfly Magenta Albatross So, that interrupts my theory for roles a bit...still pretty close. Maybe we'll see someone like Nynaeve hunting Moghedian as a role? Perhaps no Cyndain/Lanfear?
  8. Well that was a lot of interesting information to come out. The rare and impressive quad-post?! wtf? OK, that was just a glitch...just a double post somehow. Could a mod delete one of these?
  9. OK, to address some (mild) misconceptions about balefire from the source material: -Balefire does not make it as if someone never existed. It does, however, move their thread from the pattern either at the point they're killed, or further back depending upon the power behind the balefire. The situation where balefire would 'bring' people back to life was when it would be powerful enough to remove the target far enough back that that action never happened. An example of this is when Rand invades Caemlyn - a large number of the Maidens he brought with him were killed by a trap set by Rahvin...who Rand balefired with a monster amount of power, removing him from the pattern before the trap would have been set (or set off?...don't 100% remember that part) (Sorry if this comes off a bit high and mighty... WoT was incredible...I loved that series...it's the main reason I started reading Sanderson) Anyway, with Lord of Chaos being the title, I'm wondering if this game is centered around events in that book.
  10. Thanks for the games GMs! Honestly, I got busy and stopped paying attention to the game shortly after I was killed, but well done to the eliminator team for that comeback! since we don’t have the docs yet, can I ask why you killed me?
  11. Taladir grinned with the air of a man who’d leapt off a cliff and found he could fly. He’d bet everything on Arauna, and he’d won and won well! A worldhopper who was on Odium’s side? How good was he! “Take that, Bomer! I won that bet and I won a lot!”
  12. Rules say there is no vote minimum for a lynch. Also that one of the players will be chosen at random in a tie. Fair enough, Toucan.
  13. Scandal! Well, Toucan, I’m curious as to your response to Tuatara’s vote on you. Any thoughts? Well Bomer (Gorilla), it seems ya are of the same heart as I. The feeling of living on the edge of a cliff, one step more and you’ll either soar or plummet. That’s the feeling of life. I’m throwing my bet over to Tafud for now, but my game is yet to be over.
  14. Stumbling from his bedroll, Taladir grumbled about his lack of sleep. “If you hadn’t been up playing that stupid game of yours, maybe You wouldn’t be so–” “Shut up, Nalitam, or by the Stormfather’s thundery farts, I’ll kill ya,” Taladir replied to his friend. His gambling problem was well known, but storms, he wasn’t going to let Nalitam enjoy something at this awful hour of morning. A murder? Taladir thought he was the riskiest soldier here, but someone who was willing to kill another right under the noses of Radiants? Stormfather’s breezy underwear, that was bold. In a way, Taladir was almost jealous of the murderer and the thrill that such a risk would provide. That was one that would keep ya going for a couple days, at least. When they discovered Naihar was a plant for Odium, Taladir was even more surprised. That was a spheresy move, that was. Didn’t pay off for the sap in the end, but he musta had spheres of a herald to do that. Bomer was the biggest gambler Taladir knew. Taladir knew the feeling of a high from a risk and this was one the other man would’ve died for. Or maybe he really would die for it.
  15. That explanation doesn't pan out. I didn't get any votes on myself until after Amethyst Scorpion had posted. So then, where does that leave us? I'm going to vote on you Emerald Falcon. You mentioned that we are at LYLO today. How would you glean that information? Having two villager lynches shouldn't end the town's chance right off the bat, so I'm curious how you arrived at that logic.
  16. Amethyst Scorpion (2): Indigo Weasel, Coral Swan Emerald Falcon (2): Mauve Crocodile, Melon Dingo Well, Amethyst Scorpion still hasn't appeared. Admittedly, wasting two days lynching an inactive is not my idea of fun, but it must be done. We cannot tolerate this kind of behavior any longer.
  17. There's no way I can really find out. I received an item as of this cycle that didn't originally belong to this body, but it could have been from the lynch or from another player passing it to me.
