    Tbh my biggest holdback when it comes to anon games is players losing their distinctive quality. In non-anon games if someone says something odd in one of their posts, I’m able to retain this info and I begin to subconsciously be wary of the player for the rest of the game, which really helps form reads in both the short and long term, whereas in anon games if someone says something suspicious I’m probably gonna read it once and then forget about it. Notably this wasn’t a problem in my first ever anon game as the accounts were all brand new to me and so it was kind of a clean slate. I’ve also noticed I tend to tunnel a bit more in anon games for this exact reason, because once I latch onto a target no other player stands out to me unless I make a very very conscious effort to hyperanalyse someone, if that makes any sense. gotta work on it fr

    I've definitely heard of players often typing up role analysis or distribution analysis before taking a look at their alignment, but writing up a reads list prior to opening your role PM is new. Also undeniably strange. My vote stays. I don't particularly like nor really understand the Cham exe, but if the numbers dont shift and we near the end of the cycle, I'll move my vote to Cham to strengthen the exe against any vote manip. Normally I wouldn't mind a tie either; ties result in a random exe, which is always a fun way to have D1s go down, in my opinion but the existence of vote manips really throws in a lot of uncertainty to it. Well then it's a good thing that past rapports don't matter in anon games! I agree, I didn't mean to say that switching reads is inherently evil, just that putting out a reads list that early provides a good excuse to switch reads drastically if needed. Fair enough. I don't know what kinda response I was expecting but this makes sense.

    good...catch I did. All these damn animal names Wouldn't it be hilarious if you flip elim seeker though? At the very least, lying about roles makes the game fun.:P The village is gonna lose more than gain from genuine role claims right now anyway, so if lying sows confusion then so be it. At least this way it's a lose-lose for both the village and the elims. I will hence assume any roles claimed to me to be lies. This is the best course of action - just me saying this sets up a nice IKYK for everyone who has roleclaimed/will roleclaim.

And as for why not anyone that's posted, it was partly because I somehow missed the existence of an entire page's worth of posts, and partly because I just didnt want to vote on anyone active right at that moment (in case anybody missed it, the initial vote count that I posted was only reflective of the first page).     I'm so sorry I haven't been here for the past two days or so. I don't have any strong reads on anyone right now, so I'm not going to post a reads list because it would all be null, but I'll do a bit of backlogging and take a longer look then the quick skim I just did, and as soon as I can do that I'll post one.

    I... can see both sides. On one hand, not announcing you couldn't be lynched... sighhhhh it feels kinda not great. On the other hand, announcing it does give the elims a good idea who not to kill. So I don't see what Cream said right now as a particularly not great thing, although maybe if there are suspicious things later...

    Dullform: Standered form, nothing more to say Mateform: Good, if a bit iffy, as you cannot vote on the person who you are in a PM with. That could lead to problems if you say, think they are a eliminator, and it will also make it harder to find eliminators because they could use the excuse of not voting on someone because they are in mateform. Warform: Being able to tank a lynch is always a little risky so I'm nervous about that. Tanking a kill is decent though could lead to a WGG. Artform: Aka RP form. Mostly for asthetic, but if you like RP go right ahead. Scholarform: Useful. Do it. Nimbleform: Taking a aditional action could be useful but only if you really need to be able to take that action. Otherwise, meh. Workform: Removing a vote on yourself might be nice, but also feels slightly iffy, so we'll see. Mediationform: Having a vote count as two... useful but also potentially dangerous.
