I had no clue that Asmodean betrayed the other forsaken. I read the first few books a few years ago, I had to Google a list of the forsaken just to make sense of the player list after the second cycle. To be fair, we've all been trying to blend in. Stand out and you end up like Dragonfly. I've been trying to catch less without seeming like a threat to him, I haven't been trying to hide my identity. . . . That was a super dope post though, I loved reading it. Brava!

Alright, when you get down to brass tacks I'm convinced that Emerald Falcon is Lews. I think all three of us have been really good players, but I think that Falcon not claiming until recently clinched it for me.

I was so incredibly sure that Penguin would be Lews. Heck. Alright well I won't dwell on it, I'll move on and try to find them. Five players left, and five forsaken left as well I believe if my google search was accurate. Me - Asmodean. Hyena - Sammael. I trust them, even if maybe I shouldn't. They've been PMing me since cycle two and may have been pocketing me, but I do get a village vibe from them and our interactions. They claimed to me quite early, almost as soon as they PMed me. I know I can't use the fact that they PMed me as evidence because of Lews probably getting more than one action. I can't trust them completely, but I am willing to trust them enough to bet the game on them. Tuatara - Lanfear/Cyndane. Looking at their activity isn't encouraging, they haven't been posting too much which could definitely be laying low. However they also claim to have a low knowledge of the WoT books and that is quite believable from what I've seen. Especially from when they claimed. And if they don't know too much about the books then it would be more difficult to guess which Forsaken isn't in the game to claim. Especially considering how early in the game they claimed. And it would have been even ballsier to claim a female forsaken. Overall I'm not suspicious of them. @Cream Tuatara Why did you vote on Hyena last cycle? Swan - M'Hael/Mazrim Taim. They've been laying low and not posting very much. They posted right at the beginning of last cycle and then not again for the rest of it. Falcom - Be'lal or Demandred? I think that they're one of the two? It looks like they're the two options left for them and I don't remember them claiming one or the other. They're both male though. @Emerald Falcon Could you shed some light on this? Right now I want to believe it's one of either Swan or Falcon. Swan for their posting tendencies and Falcon for the weird forsaken thing they've got going on. Plus they're both male forsaken which is probably more likely for Lews to have claimed.

Yeah, it's being quiet and laying low mostly. But if you think that is why you're still alive then what about the other players still alive? Hyena Falcon and I have all been pretty consistently active and we are still alive. And whatever posts you did post were vague and about the lore which is all NAI. AND you have only voted once. That all points to someone trying to stay under the radar. Plus not claiming until this cycle is suspicious too. If you were lews then claiming a role that you didn't have early in the game would have been way more highly likely to claim a role someone else had. But waiting until now gives you a better chance of claiming someone that nobody else can counterclaim.

I'd be really surprised if Lews isn't in the game considering how many people seem to have him as their win con. If there was less confusion about win cons earlier in the game then I'd be more prone to believe that but with the win cons that are compatible but not identical I'd be surprised. This looks like a coverup. Your actions up until now HAVE been really suspicious, Hyena laid it out in our PM. You've been extraordinarily quiet and laid low a lot. Chartreuese Penguin

. . . That throws everything into the atmosphere, I totally missed that and was solely working on the assumption that everyone had one action like normal. Okay, so without information from lynches, it would probably be in the best interest of the Lews Crew to simply lay low instead of sticking their heads where they shouldn't be. That brings my attention to Chartreuse Penguin, Cream Tuatara, and Azure Mouse as those who have posted least lately. So I'll probably say that those three are my biggest suspicions? I've been working on the assumption that there is between 1 and 3 people in the lews crew. Currently one male and 3 female channelers are dead (plus Shaidar Haran who apparently isn't a forsaken if I've read that correctly). I would personally assume that there was a roughly equal number of male and female channelers at the beginning of the game, so for the rest of this post I'll be working with this assumption. If there is one extra I'll probably assume that they're female because Lews is male. If there is 1 then it's 8-1. Lews, 5 male, 3 female. Probably the best case scenario. We have the least chance of hitting Lews from random chance, but we would also have more time and more chances to hit them. With 1.5 kills per turn this game will end in about 5-6 more turns. If there is 2 then it's 7-2. Lews, a helper, 4 male, 3 female. Not much to say about this one, with a kill rate of 1.5 per turn it'll end in about 4-5 turns. This is assuming that every kill hits a forsaken and not the Lews Crew. If there is 3 then it's 6-3. Lews, 2 helpers, 4 male, 2 female. Obviously the worst case scenario, if this were to occur then it would be the closest to a typical game of mafia. Although it does introduce an increased possibility of hitting one of the Lews Crew which would give us so much more information than we currently have! With 1.5 kills per turn, all of them hitting forsaken, it would take 4 turns for the forsaken to die. However in this scenario it is less likely for all the kills to hit forsaken. I have to assume that either Lews themselves or one of their retinue has a protection ability to balance the game out and to justify the use of balefires. With that said, I don't know if we should be playing aggressively or defensively. If we play aggressively then we have more chance to hit Lews before they hit more of us, but they might just pull back and protect themselves so that they don't have to kill anybody and we slaughter ourselves. If we play defensively and only attack those we really think are Lews, then we essentially let them pick us off one by one. And the worst part of it all is that if the general thread comes to a collective decision then Lews and their potential crew can just act accordingly! So really it's not a question to bring to the general thread because everyone has to play for themselves even though a concerted effort might be more fruitful!

I agree with the not revealing names camp. I know I've already revealed mine so I kind of look like a hypocrite, but I revealed mine so that the thread would have more context in regards to the aims of the game. At this point though it would give Lews and his crew information that they don't necessarily have. And at the same time it doesn't do too much for the forsaken. I . . . was hoping that a majority lynch would kill the lynchee. That would have made things so much simpler. There is very little incentive for me to lynch now because I can't really get much information out of it. If we hit the Lews crew killer then there might not be a kill and that might steer us in the right direction. But there is a higher chance of us not hitting it and then getting no information at all.

Right now I'm inclined to trust Charcoal Hyena because of the PM they opened with me, and Ivory Dragonfly because of Indigo Weasels endorsement. Of the two, I trust Ivory less because they could have somehow pocketed Indigo and manipulated them into trust one another. I'd be interested in hearing what @Ivory Dragonfly was talking about with Indigo in their PM. I still want to know what happens when someone has more than 50% of the votes in one cycle. That being said, I think it would be beneficial to get more conversation happening again. If I am remembering correctly Indigo had a list of three suspects, one of which was Chartreuse Penguin whom has been posting mostly lore and role related stuff. The post during which they voted last cycle was simply a vote count with the words "This sounds like fun" which feels like them trying to avoid having to give proper reasoning to their vote.

This doesn't line up with what you said though. You asked Magenta a question, you didn't vote on them or anything so how could it be a threat to them? Goodness gracious you have so many schemes running in the background! I don't know what to think of it. I'm still suspicious of Ivory Dragonfly, their initial reaction to people claiming forsaken makes me think that they were under the impression that the forsaken was the minority and that they genuinely wanted to kill them. I will admit that now that I think about it it also makes sense that they'd be a forsaken being wary and cautious with their information. I'm on the fence about voting on them, but they're pretty much the only suspicion I have that I can really support right now. I want to have a majority vote, I don't think that having a tied vote will do anything new. Mouse had half of the overall votes last cycle, that means they had 50% of the votes so I don't think that having two people with 50% of the votes would be beneficial. I think that if they have a majority vote then they'll die and give us more information to go off of. Both of those points combined lead me to believe that voting on Ivory Dragonfly is the best course of action right now.

I'm not on your list. I'm Asmodean. I think that might mean that this doesn't follow the official timeline? I'm not entirely too sure about timelines, I don't know nearly as much about the books as I used to. But this game IS called Lord of Chaos, so I think it's feasible that it doesn't follow our expectations.

Secrecy is all well and good, I have mad respect for secrets in mafia games, I would rather get the village pointing in the same direction to start out with. I'd feel much more comfortable with a clear target for lynches rather than everyone serving their own purposes.

Those are good points, but I really feel that if they were trying to hedge their bets or protect their identity then they would have said something more neutral. It reads like someone whose victory condition is to kill forsaken, or at least isn't aligning with the interests of a forsaken. That felt like a gut reaction on their part, the first thing that they thought of they types down. my suspicion of them is a gut feeling, but it's not the most baseless gut read I've ever seen. Regardless it is still day 1 and everything is foggy, so probably take it with a grain of salt. I'm sticking with it for now still.

I'll support Indigo Weasels and Melon Dingos story. I'm a forsaken too. I was nervous thinking I was on my own for this game. I'm hoping that the forsaken is the village, because if not then the forsaken team might have just thrown away their chance at winning. That being said, I think that it's likely the SK hunt people are suggesting. Otherwise why wouldn't anyone have voted on indigo weasel or melon dingo since they claimed? I think that if the main village was hunting the forsaken then more action would have been taken. After all, it's been four hours and a lot of people have seen those claims. I am going to vote on Ivory Dragonfly @Ivory Dragonfly for now for their initial comment on when the forsaken claimed.

Heyo! I don't really know anything about the world that this is set in, so I'm sorry if I can't be much help there! But I just wanted to poke my head in to say hello! I think that a lynch is going to be really important in this game because we need to have context for the roles and rules of the game. I think we want information, and I think that in the interest of keeping the game fun I'll vote on someone who hasn't shown up yet. That way it'll help with activity I hope, and also I would like to keep the talkative players alive. I really like it when players talk in these games. @Ivory Dragonfly It might be true that people can't see the poke since it's in a different account than normal, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to reach them. They might be lurking and not participating but we just don't notice it. Chartreuse Penguin hasn't shown up yet. @Chartreuse Penguin, how is it going? Any thoughts on the game so far? On the subject of Balefire, Again, I don't know too much of the source material, but the limit on uses is . . . intimidating. I don't even want to get anywhere near an "everyone loses" scenario at all. If people are right in assuming that you can undo death, then maybe someone could also undo the undoing. And then undo that undoing. So much possibility for chaos!
