  1. You're probably right, and that would be awesome to see. The question is, what repercussions would that have on the rest of the Cosmere?
  2. This is a fabulous document, though it leaves some holes to be filled in by yourself. You simply have to know Hoid well enough to know which dates correspond with him.
  3. I would also say a common misvisualization is that the Herdazians are Caucasian. From the description in the books, they would look like Latinos, but in the audiobooks, Lopen is read with an Australian accent. I can't argue with that, because Brandon loves how the books are read. Personally, though, when I read the books, I always imagine Herdazians with a Mexican accent like Luis from Ant-man.
  4. I suppose that depends on what you classify as powerful. It says in The Hero of Ages "If they [Ruin and Preservation] fought, they destroyed. If they were used together, they created." It seems you consider the destructive power greater, but I personally would consider the creative power greater. Sazed also realizes that the Shards belong together and he can make them touch without destroying each other. Finally, we know that Preservation and Ruin fought all the time. What did they achieve? Not much. Discord would be a constant representation of that battle that had happened between Preservation and Ruin, therefore meaning nothing would get done at all.
  5. When it was revealed in Bands of Mourning that Kelsier had somehow been resurrected. I didn't read Mistborn: Secret History until after I had read the Bands of Mourning, so I didn't understand what had happened.
  6. Recently, having stated that Harmony is probably more powerful than any other Shard, it got me wondering. At the shattering of Adonalsium, did all the different Shards receive the same amount of power? Since shattering of Shards is possible, I wonder if that means they were weakened from Investing too heavily, or if they were simply weaker from the beginning. ... Thoughts?
  7. Perhaps if we look at certain timelines of different books together, we could understand. What I mean is that it might help to understand what Hoid was doing right before and after he took the Lerasium. Is there a Hoid timeline somewhere? If there isn't, I think it would be immensely useful for many theories if there was one.
  8. I doubt Harmony would be considered a weak Shard, as he holds two powers that together can do more than they could when separate. Because he holds two opposite Shards, it is feasible to believe that he is actually more powerful than most other Shards. Perhaps if Harmony became Discord, you might have an argument there, but since that doesn't seem likely to happen...
  9. Yes, after reading the Dark Talent, I would definitely say Alcatraz is a terrible person. However, that might change after the next book...
  10. The Horneaters' language and culture are very much reminiscent of Polynesians'. I believe Rock would fit more into the Samoan/Tongan type than Hawaiian. Brandon does need to study their languages a bit more though, as he puts apostrophes/'okinas in seemingly random places. But that's just my opinion, it could be more related to Hawaiian, but his accent is certainly Polynesian. It's definitely not New Zealand though...
