    "An excellent point!" said Nogard, returning to the spot where they had encountered the rabbits. "Hmm," he said. "This looks like grass seed, not grass..."

    Eh, these sorts of things happen. "Grass should be easy to find," mused Nogard. He looked around. "Er... though perhaps not on a volcano."

    "Perfect!" exclaimed Nogard. "Now all we need is the cloves and the grass."

    "Hey!" exclaimed Nogard suddenly. "Is this it?"

    Nogard was still puzzled by this. So he decided to start looking for the stash of newt eyes.

    "Why so gloomy? We've achieved the next step in our quest! We just need to find where the eye of newts (eyes of newt?) are hidden, and we can be on our way."

    Nogard was slightly perturbed by the munching, but decided not to let it get to him. After all, the volcano was just over there!

    Nogard blinked. The rabbit was cowering away from them in fear. "Wait, why were we doing this again?"

    The wave of attackers swept into the giant rabbit. Nogard poked it with his spear.

    Nogard yelled something unintelligible and charged.

    Nogard took on a brave stance and brandished his spear. Carp, he realized. I don't know how to use this.

    "This trip has been pretty uneventful so far," remarked Nogard. If you wish it to be, conjure it into being!

    Nogard accepted the spear and were-reindeerclops hair and headed off in a westerly direction.

    "I've got a spear," Nogard replied helpfully. "So, this volcano, huh?"

    "And the locations where to find the ingredients?"

    "He said it gave locations, too," mused Nogard. "Emergency muffin," Nogard explained, revealing a pocket containing exactly that.

    "You wouldn't happen to know rabbit, would you?"

    Nogard blinked. "You can't eat muffins? How terrible!" He shook his head, sorrowful.

    "Can I offer you a muffin to not eat me?" asked Nogard hopefully.

    "Besides," added Nogard, "It isn't like he hasn't died before."
