"We don't need to fight," he pleaded. "We want the same thing- for everyone to be safe." TP passed the Great Wizard up onto his back, where Selppaenip attempted to shake him awake. He flew towards Subversion and Nogard, ready to pick them up if needed. An ennuller appeared at the entrance to his cavern. Hello? he asked the room. I am here to ask the Dreamsmith a question relating to the new plotblades. Bruh what are you talking about Bacon does not hold back at all And omnipotent characters can make for plenty of fun, you just have to be clever about it. In general, you should NOT worry about your characters being too powerful. TLT is a place where anything goes. We'll make it work!

    The man sighed and waved his hands. Vines of black sprung from them, wrapping around everything they found. He grabbed Shoe and held his sword to his neck. "I suppose you were going to figure it out eventually," he said. His eyes burned black. "But there's no reason we can't resolve this civilly."

    The withergeists shied away, held back by the light. For now. The man opened the door to let them in. Inside was dark and empty.

    The withergeists suddenly began to move about, if agitated. They began to push forwards into the light, hissing softly. The man drew his sword calmly. "Quickly," he said. "If they gather here in large enough numbers, they may overwhelm us." Interesting. Hopefully you never have to call on our aid, Platypus. But if you do... we will be ready.

    The manor loomed in the distance, dark and foreboding. There seemed to be more withergeists than ever about.

You don't mean to imply the fine upstanding citizen might not be fine and upstanding?? Uhh... for the sake of the lore, can I just say they are nullite and mordite?

    "Very well," relented the man. "Follow me. Keep your lights handy." He set off towards the center of the town.

    "A metal of chaotic darkness," explained the man. "Weapons forged with it- such as my sword- are capable of killing anything that is." "Are you not with the others?" She has mordite blades- that's the reason they worked on the withergeists. Unless you want to say she doesn't, and they didn't. Not capable of killing withergeists, unfortunately.

Hmm, interesting How many questions would he have asked? Grave news indeed. The ennuller frowned. But the location of the blades- and their nature- is still unknown, yes? Ooh, I do like that. The mists are dimension-locking. No teleporting!

    The young girl whimpered and shied away from her. "Dead, for the most part. Converted into withergeists. Those that survived have gathered at the manor house." The ennuller frowned. These are grave tidings indeed, if they are true. We were aware of the rumors of the new Plotblades, but did not think that they would pose a danger to the Wall. You are certain they represent such a danger?

    Patience "Thank goodness," said the man smoothly. "You are here to save us." He gestured expansively at the mist blanketing the town. "This morning, a thick fog descended, and these... creatures began swarming the town." The withergeists continued to drift around the group, held at bay by the flashlights.

    The man was pale-skinned and black haired. He wore a sword at his belt. "You are here to exterminate the withergeists, yes?"

    The child had her eyes squeezed tightly shut. They don't like light, but it doesn't actually hurt them. So her knives are mordite, then- cool. The spirits hiss and die. Withergeists love broken things! They think that everything should be broken. The withergeists shield away from the bright light, scurrying away into shadows. The mist kept light from traveling far. If you insist... A figure appeared behind Shoe in the mist.

    The withergeists hissed in pain, scattering. The withergeists surge forward, twisted hands outstretched, withering the ground where they pass.

    Withergeists are more of a force of nature. Not 'evil', exactly- evil means choosing wrong, and withergeists don't really have a choice to be anything other than they are. But they are exclusively motivated by destruction. She could be bonded to a withergeist, however- potentially against her will. The withergeists didn't seem to care at all about the blades.
