    Pheonix stared openmouthed at Star for a few seconds before he realized she was talking to him. "Oh!" he said. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." He scrambled to his feet. "I'm, uh, new here. My name is... Pheonix."

It wasn't harsh, just... surprising. New. Like the word itself, 'light'. Other words filled his mind, each a little burst of knowledge. Narrators. Characters. Hall of Words. Each passed in a fraction of an instant, filling his mind with knowledge and connections like water pouring into an empty glass. He blinked again. His mind slowly settled, the new information finding its place. One word in particular stuck in his mind. "My name is Pheonix," he said, making sense of the meaning behind names.
