  3. "No shattering!" said Woden happily.
  4. The spoiler cops started blaring their sirens.
  5. Two people whisper in the shadows. "We are running out of time," says one. "The negotiations with the Old Ones are going poorly." "I agree," says the other. "It looks like we're going to do this the hard way." "Which means we need the Fellowship," replies the first voice. "And yes, that includes more than just Nath. Getting in is only a small part of this plan. The Fellowship is the most efficient solution that does not involve starting a war." "Don't we have them? They've agreed to assist us." "Yes; after the war here is finished." The second person frowned. "Will it ever be finished?" "It will. We will make sure it is."

  7. Despite this very intriguing event, none of the party see it- given that they are current entombed in the earth. Before anyone has time to do any more than a little suffocating, the ground around them vanishes, leaving them in an underground pocket of air.
  8. The soldier twisted, strangely compliant, his eyes seeking hers.

  10. Davey dashed across the ground, dodged through the copse of trees at the back and slipped down the bank of the river. Mud splashed with each of Davey's footsteps as he scrambled forwards. He could hear the soldier struggling to keep pace with him, shouting something that sounded like "Halt!" Just... a little bit... farther, he thought as the underflow tunnel came into view. He'd been playing in the drainage tunnels ever since he was old enough to swim; he could lose the soldier in there, easily. He just needed- ZZZCHOW. The hair stood up on the back of Davey's neck, both from fear and from the shot that had just missed him. Bad, bad, bad, he thought in abject terror, scrambling ever more furiously through the mud towards the tunnel. His foot slipped, and another shot went over his head. Davey screamed, put on an extra burst of speed, and scrambled into the tunnels. "No one has to get hurt, kid," called the soldier, splashing his way to the tunnel entrance and pausing. Davey froze instinctively at the voice, hiding behind the first turn. "Just come on out and-" All of a sudden, the soldier's voice cut off. Silence fell like a jackhammer. After a moment of tense waiting, Davey risked a peek. The soldier was standing partway down the tunnel, next to a twisted mass of metal and glass. The UP safe, stashed here for safekeeping- the soldier's shot must have blasted it open. One way to get around the combination, he supposed... although it seemed to have destroyed whatever was inside as well. Whatever it was, the soldier seemed quite distracted by it. Davey stepped back carefully and sneakily, hoping to get away before the soldier finished. The man's head jerked up as soon as Davey moved, staring him directly in the eyes. The soldier's gaze narrowed, and his mouth turned up at the edges in a smile that showed all of his teeth. Slowly, he raised his gun and pointed it at Davey, standing frozen like a rabbit before a wolf. ZZZCHOW.
  11. Davey instinctively bolted in the direction of the safe.
  12. I'M ALIIIIVE ..probably It's been a while since I've played in a SE game... it's just as mind bending as I remember. 8O My instincts tell me I should either not vote or join the bandwagon. But you know what? Forget that! Chances are I'll just fall inactive as the game progresses anyways. Might as well do something before then. And so, I have a theory about Matrim's Dice! The theory: After submitting the kill on Liranil, the thought of her remained stuck in his mind. (Like when one is playing a game of Concentration and all one can think about is the word GREEN). He knew that if he voted on her, it could gain him village cred once she was killed. But! This was a fragile plan, and dependent on the whims of others. And so, quickly after rollover, he lampshaded his decision in order to reap the benefits!! Now if you'll excuse me, I have some tinfoil that needs ironing. Tata!
  13. I don't know! thought Davey frantically. My plan so far is to claim I've forgotten the code to stall for time.
  14. Davey flinched slightly when he heard T's voice in his head. You can telepath?
  15. "This place has a satellite system?" pondered Xinoehp.
