  1. "It doesn't need to," the Witherlord replied. The tree was a representation of a piece of reality. A piece of reality the Witherlord wanted destroyed rather badly, it would seem.
  2. "You must have a name," the queen pressed.
  3. "Hmm. Well, come with me." -- The motorbike whizzed through the tunnels without any sign of Corundum. "How close are we, Ellis?" asked Gerald. @Condensation @Mystic Syn @Channelknight Fadran
  4. "We will see about that," the Witherlord declared as the vines tightened. Yes and no. It is a place outside of reality looking in.
  5. "Where is she?" the Witherlord demanded. -- "He's not dead, right?" 655 asked. "I mean, surely he can't die?" He shouldn't be able to, no, the mime replied. However, you saw the scene of the crime.
  6. Withergeists grabbed at him, vines twisting up to hold him in place. He is a narrator, said the mimes. The successor to Xinoehp. He is an entity of pure imagination, having no physical presence. Thaidakar isn't there, by the way. The mimes do not want someone who's been making deals with the Witherlord anywhere near their home.
  7. They were unfortunately not able to do this, as they had no idea where that plane was. "Yes." Our systems have been having a rough time of it recently, the mime explained. X played a major role in their functionality, and - as you've discovered - he's been absent for some time.
  8. I can't believe I've done this. Araris goes in the Bad Bucket for now. Probably the confrontational tone. Look, I only put about five seconds of thought into each of these. If I tried to force myself to go any more in depth it never would have gotten done at all.
  9. Just felt evil vibes off of you. And you are incorrect in assuming the list is ordered. I take a look at a name and throw it in either the good bucket or the bad bucket depending on how I feel. Not sure if I understand what you're saying. Why does it matter if the Elders are vanilla after the Fang is used? The point is, having multiple elders makes the chances that they all die before either a single elim dies or the game ends low. Which Kas might have done if he didn't actually want the village to lose the fang, just feel like they might, but we can't count on that. Being quick to accuse. Although, looking back, it seems I misread your comments to Striker so the only person you really accused was Stick. I don't think that counts as aggressive, so you've been promoted to the Good Bucket. As for why aggressiveness is an elim indicator- .if you accuse others, other people are less likely to trust them, especially if you do it with confidence. Yep, that's what that means. I was talking from a meta perspective. Edit: I was also waiting for the vote count. Too sleepy to count them myself. I'd rather have you leading the vote than Bort. Stick. @Kasimir for edited vote.
  10. "The connection is broken." Your guess is as good as mine.
  11. "That depends on whether or not she finishes the survey." He wants the survey, but he can't just take it from you.
  12. Just the former, I'm afraid. "What does that matter to you?"
  13. Safer. "The paper is mine is what it is," the Witherlord replied.
  14. The headquarters of our order, said the mime. "It is bound to her soul," the Witherlord replied.
  15. Home, said the mime, and the group was transported. A flat, empty plane under a silent sky. "She has something that belongs to me," the Witherlord said.
  16. We should go, the mime said. It will not be safe here. "Where is she?" the Witherlord replied.
  17. Well if you ask nicely. Bort I just felt village vibes from. I'd like to hear more from them though. TJ was aggressive, and that makes me feel suspicious.
  18. The shroud thickened and froze, stopping the robots dead in their tracks and catching Nameless's blade. The power of the earwaxium shone forth in a burst of chaotic light... but it was dim, too dim. Even in their numbers, its power was simply too diluted. The Witherlord vanished behind his shield of shadow. Two dark pinpricks showed through even that, ice-cold with fury. Fools, the Witherlord commanded. He stretched forth his hand, exercising his dominion over the fabric of reality. The earwaxium of the robots was transmuted into darkness, melting into a hissing black liquid that corroded whatever it touched.
  19. It's eight hours in. It's late at night. I've got nothing better to do. So... Bucket Reads time! Good Bucket: Bad Bucket: *pending presence Also, is it a thing that the GM makes vote counts?
  20. The mist shroud rose, swallowing the light like a greedy animal. Withergeists crowded him.
  21. "Thaidakar," said the Witherlord. "Does our deal still stand?"
  22. Have you really never met one of us before? said the voice, surprised. In a flash of dark, Moni, 655, the Wanderer, and Professor Jones were all rendered invisible. -- From the sky, a dark streak slammed into the ground. The Witherlord stood up, features wreathed in mist, and surveyed the scene.
  23. Nowhere, a disembodied voice suddenly spoke. Unless you hide very, very well.
