    The black hole slowed the Darkbeast down a little but did not stop it. It let out a screech that echoed through the branes. Likely fairly soon, replied the survey, anxiety edging its voice. We should- I don't- W41t It warped to Nameless. Nameless will wield the blade.

    Grace stared at it for a long moment. It was... beautiful. She felt drawn to it. Was the ground beneath her hands and knees softening? She shook her head, standing up. Whatever it was, it was most likely accessible from somewhere above. She glanced at the building directly above the light, trying to identify its purpose.

    Reality flashed, and they were deep in a cave. Behind them, the Darkbeast gave chase, ripping through reality like it was bread. I did not foresee this, the survey admitted.

    The power that the Darkbeast holds can be created and destroyed. What events? Alex can start fighting withergeists right away. Controlled withergeists are much more dangerous. That- Suddenly, there was a growl from the brush. The Darkbeast gazed at them.

    Grace stopped. Light, so far below? What could that mean? She knelt down on the ground, trying to get a better look at the far-off sparkle.

    If they exist, it is only as echoes. What the Darkbeast has become is entirely because of the Witherlord. There is nothing that has happened that he did not intend. The ancient!Witherlord is not an evil being. It is more akin to the Shard than the bearer. Correct. It will have to find a new host. Note that the plan is to destroy the ancient!Witherlord. They will all remain- they don't depend on the Witherlord's existence. What about the Witherlord is holding back Called Bob? I... can't remember. The wanderer, after finally meeting with Professor Jones, decided to see if the person who'd spoken to them had managed to make it to the front office.

    Luxite is essentially nonexistent in the current age. Fundamental substances (luxite, mordite, nullite, & prismite) can be converted between each other, but only if you have an entity with powers of the right type. Producing luxite requires an entity of ordered-light, of which there are practically none. The best example would be the luxsprites, but they are almost entirely extinct- the only one remaining is Xinoehp, and he's secluded away where no one can get to him. Another example would be elementals born from a shattered luxsprite control crystal, but they only really work as a collective and there are only a couple of known examples. There are a few scraps of luxite left that the withergeists have not found and destroyed. It is not outside the realm of possibility that someone could gather them into a weapon capable of destroying withergeists (albeit less effectively than if that same sword was wielded by a ordered-light entity).

    I don't know about any Cosmic Entity capitalization. The Witherlord is a cosmic entity because it is an entity (loosely speaking) that is cosmic- that is to say, super-universal. Being bound to a holder does limit it, that is true. I figure the Witherlord just made it capable of destroying universes by chewing them up, which qualifies it as a Nameless End. The ancient!Witherlord is the power of chaotic darkness. It is not exactly controlled by the bearer!Witherlord; it is more like the ancient!Witherlord has found a crack in reality in which it can squeeze so as to better carry out its destructive purpose. Plotlines can be concurrent. Also, officially, TLT is unbreachable by entities of great power. Speaking of which, what happened to the person who appeared at the University of Universes? Did they ever find their way to admissions? They are watching most closely that way, the survey replied as they ran through the sparse jungle.

    Planes are collections of universes, correct? Fair. There is a distinction between the cosmic entity of chaotic-darkness and the host that bears it. It is the Witherlord's mantle that rules every chaotic-dark entity; the Witherlord himself has a narrower focus. What sorts of plotlines?

    Well, the Witherlord is a cosmic entity. He is also the single highest chaotic-dark entity. The Namless Ends are deaths of universes. The Witherlord is the death of all universes. Dangerous. Until we stop being chased, the survey replied.

    Grace watched the lights in the building from outside. She could hear happy voices. She turned away, fading into the Enchanted Realm. Fading away. Through the shadows of the shadows she strode, walking aimlessly throughout the city, searching. For what? She didn't know. She didn't hear the screams of people about to die. She didn't fall. She felt like falling. Lines blurred together. Then- all of a sudden- something caught her eye. @Mystic Syn

    Jump again, replied the survey, taking them somewhere new. Yes, that was my point. The Knight is a user of ordered-darkness, he's not going to debate the morality of darkness. The Witherlord is of a higher order.

    Naturally. The Ennullers are users of ordered-darkness, and the majority of my protagonists are part of them. But the Witherlord is controlling the Darkbeast. The Witherlord is the manifestation of chaotic darkness. He has influence over every chaotic dark entity. Every mordite condenser stopped working. Silence fell. Yes, the survey replied.

    Oh is that where that's from? I have read Dragonwatch, though not in a while. Even if the Unforgiving Blade is mordite, it might not be pure. "Chaotic-dark is always evil," snapped the Knight. "I'm chasing down an escaped prisoner." He teleported again. Flying cars blared as they swerved around her.
