  1. Turn 3 will begin at 10 pm Mountain. Thereafter, all turns will be 45+3 hours, starting at 10 pm Mountain and ending at 7 pm Mountain.
  2. Slightly less than one day before the game begins. We're looking for at least one more player.
  3. I will be the IM for this game, so please reach out to me in PM or Discord if you have any concerns regarding the game. I should be included in all PMs.
  4. Survivalist can only act C3 and C5. If they go today, DeTess can't get a flip. By C6 if the game is still going on, her return will make it 2-1 assuming no fighter or assassin kills, no blocked elim kills, and one resurrection. Was thinking Mat last cycle. Still think that's possible, but him not knowing how silver knives work is odd since the elims probably have one of those. I don't think DeTess is the knife elim. Ash is on the list but I'd like to see his updated opinions on banishment. Archer wasn't my first choice to die but that doesn't make him a good resurrection candidate.
  5. Why does the doc make you think Alpha is more village than just being the NK? The game will likely be over by the next opportunity to bring DeTess back, but 45% isn't that high. Is the extra village vote worth unkilling an Elim? Would e!Detess really volunteer for banishment without a way back? If Archer was my teammate I would have cared more about him being executed yesterday. One post right before rollover is meaningless except for future reference. Edit: Detess's odds are flipping someone are zero if she's brought back since survivalist is before shade attacks. Getting a flip means writing her off in most cases.
  6. Don't think Archer is evil honestly. Those votes on DeTess and Mat don't make sense as an elim and e!Archer would know better that he can't submit the NK this cycle instead of being blocked last cycle. Although maybe being against banishment does lean evil. Pointless at this time but I'll vote Mat.
  7. The not-voting-until-very-late thing isn't going to change just because I have a couple votes. I said TJ/Aman likely aren't e/e. Is that what you are saying? Fine shelving DeTess until we see if she dies. That's unlikely but we'll see. Wanted to say Alpha wasn't that new but QF 65 isn't that long ago games-wise. Did not coordinate with TKN on the vote. I don't see the point of bringing it to a tie an hour and a half before rollover with an indication that a 1 all tie is desirable. Didn't give justification for voting Alpha in the first place so looks like vote designed to be removed. TKN. @TheAlpha929 what do you think of the people who voted for you without bringing up why?
  8. You agree with me then. E!Survivalist is overpowered on a three person team, so chances are good there isn't one or there isn't a three person team.
  9. Don't see why Alpha keeps pushing an elim claim against someone he doesn't know who might well vote for him after Mat has already done voted Alpha. Very confident if evil. Wonko seems genuinely concerned. Agree on not flipping first person but that's not a choice knife people get to make. More of a dawnshard thing even though we don't get alignment that way. TJ would have known Aman planned low activity if they were evil together.
  10. Little point in having blades claim since enough shades to make knife activation likely also means a low chance of getting the flip of someone whose alignment is relevant. Banishment is useful in that banished elims count as dead, and there's a decent chance they either don't have a survivalist or only have two members total. Two elims including the homestead leader can't be ruled out though.
  11. Signing up as the Lustrous Parbem, the Surveyor and the Guide, and its translator Silven. An agent that doesn't sleep
  12. KKC won't start until the 25th at the earliest, so it's better to run the game now.
  13. All the docs are linked in the last page of the spreadsheet I've put in the doc links spoiler box. Ash will clean up the world docs later, but for now they're still separate.
  14. Executing me is probably for the best since I clearly don't know what's going on and I don't want to be accused again if we hit some other villager and tomorrow is exlo. You'd have a higher probability of hitting an elim after I'm dead.
  15. Wow, you all had a vote for JNV party and didn't invite me. I voted Xino with Fifth who was apparently lying about that. Archer indicated that they were village reading xino and elim reading TJ for similar strategies of prioritizing RP over analysis.
  16. Fletcher was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but perhaps this endorsement was meaningless from a man who hadn't noticed that he himself had been accused. Georg had ultimately decided on another, but the public attention was there. Both her and Right had been accused by Krow, a conflict that had seemingly fizzled out. Suspicions borne merely of once belonging to a different faction lacked strength. They might even be an excuse not to dig deeper. "Us and you were accused, and Mallard in private." A duck wrangler who hates her job and prefers privacy. Perhaps her reticence was due to the private conversations that had almost killed her, Right mused. Well and good for self-preservation, which might be necessary should she be required to bring forth the name of the investigated guard. A hesitance to commit early spelled disaster. At the rate Discovery soldiers were dying, the traitors could soon have control of the facility and take the fight directly to the captain. There was no more time for scattered accusations. Every soldier would need to commit to those few warranting death. She would start with the Lieutenant and she what secrets they'd uncovered beyond a simple search.
  17. Two soldiers joined the Svordish ambassador in death within a single hour. The investigation was proceeding far faster than Kurishina could be informed. She'd only be satisfied with a full report once the matter was satisfactorily dealt with. Even in the midst of Discovery's compound far from Heritage's power base, the consequences of displeasing her would be ... unpleasant. Wuzhi had accepted that they'd need to remain in her favor even while working for him, but his protection only extended so far. He wouldn't lift a finger to prevent her and Right from being slaughtered by his own soldiers. That was fine. She'd never really been able to count on anyone besides Right before. The two of them could circumvent any obstacle and neutralize any hostiles. "Our lieutenant is not as much at extreme risk, " Right stepped in. "As one of three individuals closest to the captain's favor, it's only reasonable for them to have received the ring, but this is no guarantee of loyalty. Would you imagine a traitor pretending Randen earned the ring before his death? No, for you suggest traitors seek to conceal other traitors. Then do you suggest killing the captain's favorite would intimidate future winners into silence? Members of Wuzhi's guard should be willing to die for our victory."
  18. "Why only select Georg?" Right accused. "I count Jiang with full favor, with Gaovaris and Krow at one less. Any of them could have won, as could the dear departed Randen. If any of those individuals know anything they should choose to wait until more accusations can be thrown around." "It is true that Georg and I knew we were likely not alone in our accusations. I judge it unlikely that Fletcher noticed my intentions, announced late as they were. Do you believe futility a virtue? Surely, one who truly cared for matters of guilt would ensure their suspect's death. Screaming into a void accomplishes little save confusion." With two (presumably) loyal soldiers dead, Left and Right had to stick together. "Did Georg say anything about Mallard, my little enantiomer?" Left whispered. "His top suspect," Right whispered back. For death, certainly, for investigation, perhaps. Why did you kill Randen?" "Randen sought the captain's favor with no clear plans for using it," Left spoke to the crowd. "He cleared Georg for reasons said soldier could not explain, and declined to talk to me in private. He also had an accuser already, so my calling for his death had a higher chance of success."
  19. Left stepped in. "What do we want? We merely want to know where you stand. Questioning the judgement of your superiors is all well and good, but when does that turn into disloyalty? When do you start making decisions without access to all the information Wuzhi possesses? Honoring the memory of Yuen without the full picture of his actions might lead someone to a path not well thought out." "It's good that you're so willing to speak up for what you believe in," Right continued. "Just make sure that what you believe in is the truth."
  20. The lieutenant never had been one for quick condemnations, Right reflected. A convenient trait for someone capable of giving her and Left orders. Yet now was not the time for mercy. Someone had to die, and someone had to be investigated. It was telling that many of those who ranked the highest in the captain's favor were unwilling to reveal their suspicions. Not wanting to alert their chosen target ahead of time? Or were they stockpiling favor for a less loyal purpose? Right would have to watch all such individuals closely, especially if they never won the rights to the captain's signet ring. Randen would be a good first target, for the man had yet to respond to Left's more subtle inquires. "The hour's end draws near indeed," Left remarked. (15 minutes) "It's time for everyone to decide who shall no longer grace these halls with their presence." Right confronted Krow again. He was correct to worry, but didn't acknowledge a fear of being caught as a traitor. A point in his favor, perhaps. And truly, she and Left were hiding something from him, merely above his station. If he wished to find out, he need merely gain Wuzhi's trust. Krow's sympathies with Yuen were an issue, a far more widespread sentiment than she'd been expecting. The man had been merely a blunt instrument, to be removed when he was no longer necessary. Wuzhi's judgement on this point was sound.
  21. Perhaps a farmer could afford to live in ignorance. For her, a lack of knowledge made her job far harder than it had to be. Even though joining Discovery faction had been Kurishina's idea, she'd become far stingier with information ever since. With good reason perhaps, but giving Left even less made no sense. Left's ten years of service of service should have earned her comparable trust as her twelve, especially after everything Kurishina had done to ensure she and Left worked together. Private codes they'd never told her they could both read had no place in such a delicate situation. She and Left were a pair, and would need to be pointing in the same direction as soon as Right found out who was going to die. A bold declaration of dissent, Left observed. And an ignorant one. Yuen had indeed been a traitor to the empire, his warmongering ways threatening another war with Svorden the Empire couldn't afford at the time. His brutality in MaiPon risked a mass uprising of the Empire's component nations deciding they were better off independent than subject to a throne that would treat their entire people as enemies. Rebellions and a protracted war against the Svordish navy that could so easily cut supply lines and split the Empire into its component parts might well have shattered the Empire permanently. An elegant if brutal plan for a Mulla'dil separatist or a Svordish agent, yet neither Heritage, nor so far as she knew Discovery, had found evidence of either. Merely a general so in love with war that he couldn't see beyond the next battle, the next campaign. His avengers might well have grander ambitions.
