  1. I'm also planning to join in on WoD BUT I will definitely join our planned side plot first before that, so if WoD finishes before our sideplot does (or if both finish at the same time) I won't be able to join WoD
  2. I have forgotten about that. wups I meant the personal techs like the spyril, or that mercury thing that Abe used near the end of Calamity
  3. I'm ok with that, I have a feeling it's just like the Epic tech we actually see in the trilogy, all of which are strong and versatile, but not op
  4. The turrets on the Waystop immediately came to life, firing almost instantly at the daemon that came out and the perpendicularity itself, the statue that Atticus had built (@Ark1002) started to open up and join in on the barrage. Its Epic based technology, that of Deathpoint, should make short work of the daemon, and should turn anything else that comes through the perpendicularity directly into ash, even with whatever they have resistance to psykers. Epics were not psykers. @Sorana @Grey Knight
  5. @Sorana Araha saw Damaya completely change her illusion before dissipating it, one of the earlier memories where she was happy. Three emotions followed in rapid succession: First, Araha was surprised, then she was happy, and finally she was proud of her friend, that wasn't complete control, not even slightly, but she was still gaining more control over Illumination. She went over to Damaya, and whispered with a smile: "You did it," @Life&Death "I see!" Even this item in itself had a lot of use, thoughts were racing through her mind on how to use this as creatively as she could. She could try to practice a bit more, step by step, inch by inch, but she could also just dive into it. She walked over to the same tree. The minutes had passed and it was already back to its regular color, though it was hard to really notice. She leaned her arm by the tree, BECOME BROWN! she yelled at her hand in her mind. The hand did so, and only the hand, though the brown was more of a pale change of shading than true brown, still the change was obvious enough to actually look different than just the one shade she did earlier. "This is great! Umm..." She turned to Mr. Amber, "I realize this may be a big request, but, can I keep this?" she chuckled a bit awkwardly.
  6. *thumbs up* I read her time travel as something unstable and not easily controllable because of her spikes (though ye, time travel is still problematic in RP settings)
  7. @Archer so he can see the new character application
  8. Araha caught the small ring. The effect did sound weak, but it was fascinating, being able to change such an abstract thing as color, and slightly different than what she'd learned about BioChroma too. Did that mean that if an Awakener were to have this ring they could awaken indefinitely given they had enough Breaths? This was all fascinating to her that she almost forgot to actually practice with it. She put on the ring and started practicing with hit, putting the hand by a tree and willing it to change color. Nothing happened. Maybe it was intent-based like Cosmere Investiture? She intended for the tree to change color, any color. A shade of brown flashed in her mind and something did happen this time, the tree grew just a shade paler, if she blinked, she might've missed it. "Wow!" she cheered enthusiastically, slightly disproportionate to the results of her color change, she turned back to Mr. Amber, "and this doesn't require any sort of fuel, like stormlight or metals?" @Life&Death
  9. The man must have been hurt in other ways. "Understood." Deras nodded at the woman, she called herself an Edgedancer. He was quickly gaining a list of questions to ask Araha later on. Right now though, he didn't know if he could help this man. He went to him again, "apologies. Unable help," he said.
  10. The man seemed to be more in control than earlier, though he still seemed distressed, so Deras also stood up, the Lifeless was almost a head taller than the other man, but it wasn't obvious since he was still standing a ways away. The man fell to his knees again, then rose up again, he might need a healer. He also noticed the dog from earlier, the one that tore the armor off the enemy, he wasn't a regular dog, that's for sure. "Unsure. Am Lifeless supposedly." He said, he wasn't sure what a Returned was, yet another question he'd have to ask Araha. He looked around for the other person who was nearby and helped dispose of the corpses an middle-aged looking woman (Tena), he wasn't sure, but he remembered seeing her heal wounds before. "Will get healer." Deras told the other man. He approached the woman, still staying a few feet away. "Might need healer, man is unwell. Can heal?" He asked her, gesturing toward her. @AxeliustheGreat
  11. Deras buried some of the last bodies in the ground, shoveling the dirt back on them until they were covered. They finished actually relatively early. If Deras really thought about it, this was all very grim, but that was alright. His cloak and body in general was dirtied by the blood and dirt of the grounds, he'll need to find somewhere to wash himself. He noticed that he didn't really get filthy naturally, only in situations like this. He found a spring and rinsed himself off. He'll wash more thoroughly later. Finding new clothes as Araha suggested would be a good idea too, but he'll first have to find who owned the place itself. He saw a man on the ground, seemingly distressed about something, he wanted to help people, and helping people didn't just mean protecting them from threats. He approached the man, and made himself as small as possible by crouching and staying a good few meters away so as not to accidentally frighten him. "You're unwell?" He asked. @AxeliustheGreat
  12. Deras brought the pile of armor that was inside to the outside. He also noticed some differences from the enemies that just appeared inside to the ones that attacked from outside, the coloration, the patterns, the ornamenting, so he set out to putting them on separate piles. It didn't take long to separate the piles since there was significantly less on one pile than the other. There were a few other people helping now, so the task was getting done much more quickly, they might still have to wash it later though, good thing there were some springs around, though it was probably a good idea to bring the water onto the armor instead of dipping the armor in the springs since he didn't want to contaminate them. There were about some three dozen bodies left out of the original 100 something. They might be done before lunch time, not that he needed lunch anyway.
  13. "Right. Thanks." She said, then left the shop. - "How'd go?" A man in a thick cloak with his hood up asked in a deep voice. "Fine." She said with a sigh. The man nodded as they walked for a while and found a place where there wasn't people. The man picked her up. He jumped high and hopped onto the roofs, then outside the wall of the city. Running back to the Waystop.
  14. They arrived back at the entrance. "Thank you," she said, "and thanks for your business too, tell Mack I said thanks." She realized she repeated her thanks thrice, but she didn't care. She remembered something, "Should I pick the thing up, or do you do deliveries? If deliveries, just bring it to the Waystop."
  15. "Sounds good. Gonna assume you know your way to the Waystop? For transporting the tech, I mean. Because I really have to get going."
