  1. We can't theorize about that though, and considering we're not gonna not theorize, we're just gonna look at what we have seen.
  2. Any chance you're going to write a theory about that? And if so, please tag me. I'm interested.
  3. Sounds Edgedancer to me.
  4. Uhm... Isn't this the first chapter of part 5?
  5. The mark of a truly great book is that people disagree on who the good guys are... Well done Brandon Sanderson. The blade that killed Jezrien.
  6. What shall I say... I had been explaining that to people like five times in the last two hours...
  7. Pretty sure this has already been reported & confirmed in the typos thread?
  8. There's of course also the difference where Rosharan years are 1.1 times as long, so 57 would be like 63 years old in our terms, which I would argue would put her just over the edge compared to Dalinar, who would be 58 in our terms. But yeah, it's probably got to do with viewpoint, or maybe Brandon just didn't properly think it out. He's had to adjust stuff in Dalinar's flashbacks because it didn't fit with character's ages, so he certainly hasn't planned it all out in advance.
  9. This is sometimes a problem for me as well: It is my way. lol
  10. I was attempting to point out you can discuss absolutely ridiculous relationships. Didn't want to use Raoden because he has a canonical partner...
  11. Wait... What if humans were on Roshar (be it pre- or post-Shattering), had access to Surgebindings, fought wars with the Singers and got their Heralds and maybe even Knights Radiant, and then a sizable part of them was for one reason or another (a loss against the Parshendi?) forced to go to Ashyn (assuming that's the world they destroyed with Surgebinding), then on Ashyn they got to know Odium but also destroyed the world, then they returned to Roshar, starting the wars that we know as the Desolations? Yes, it's very much out there, just throwing it in when it's late and, judging from the quality of the theory, I should really go to bed.
  12. In that case it could be a Voidspren. Still, I think the Unmade need something bigger.
  13. Then it's probably a good thing he didn't say the Words yet...
  14. Probably Voidlight, maybe Voidspren. It's unlikely that a simple sphere could hold an Unmade (I would argue the same holds true for a Voidspren, actually), if you look at the size of the King's Drop that could trap the Thrill. I mean, a sphere is actually a pretty small gemstone encased by glass.
  15. That would directly contradict "I will protect even those I hate", though.
  16. I mean, that's the way you should see it if you think it's impossible or whatever. Just let go of all realism and have fun.
  17. No, I don't believe that, simply because I don't believe Kaladin would have trouble speaking that Ideal.
  18. Maybe he accidentally did. Or the timelines changed, but that seems less likely. I mean, once you create what, a thousand names, something like that, you're probably having a double in there somewhere. Just like if you pick a thousand people in the real world.
  19. Timeline doesn't fit. Alloy of Law and Stormlight Archive play at the same time. Even if Wayne becomes a Worldhopper he's not gonna be in Stormlight Archive in time.
  20. Eshonai being dead. The moment we'd heard that Venli was the main interlude character, everyone would've wondered "but why Venli? Why not Eshonai, when she is going to have a flashback sequence at some point?"
  21. You're taking this far too seriously.
  22. Well, apparently Brandon is trolling you in particular. Who are you referring to though? Evi?
  23. 1. Also because we know from Szeth's chapters that the Fourth Ideal grants Plate. 2. Actually really funny once you think about it. Thanks.
  24. What about the Hrathen x Jasnah pairing? Would you be willing to discuss that?
