There's a WoB somewhere that there is no shard that has "Survival" as Intent. I'd look it up but I'm lazy. It's been proposed before that there would be a shard "Wisdom" or maybe "Enlightenment" that would fit the "shard that wants to survive and hide" though.

Isn't that a case of two correct plurals?

Don't forget that you have to use the same 10% age increase for Jasnah. As for the age difference being a problem though, this is very much a subject on which people will never agree. Some even argue that the difference between Adolin and Shallan (6 years if I'm not mistaken) is too much, while others argue that the 15-some years between Kaladin and Jasnah are not a problem at all. I don't think it is useful to have a discussion about this, as it is all about opinions and gut feelings. What I can say - and what is also all I will say - is that I am 21 years old myself, and that I would not necessarily be opposed to a relationship with a 35 year old woman, but I would certainly think it's very weird. I think that it can happen that two people with such an age difference just love each other and want to be together, but I don't think that it's likely, and I wouldn't blame people for thinking it wrong.

Well, there's always the question of "how are there even multiple planets with humans?" I mean, I don't think Brandon uses convergent evolution, so it's either by (Adonalsium's?) design, or humans migrated to other planets through the Cognitive Realm.

Not that I disagree with your point (even though I want to see Jasnadin happen you're certainly raising valid points about age here, and it might have to wait until Kaladin is older), but I want to point out that Rosharan years are longer than Earth years. Assuming that people mature as fast on Roshar as they do here, Kaladin would equal a 21 year old.

As I also kind of mentioned here, I wonder wheter Rayse has, since before the Shattering, been working with Adonalsium's enemy. It's not the strongest, I realize, but I think it is an interesting idea, also because we know that "the red is important" (that's a WoB that I'm not gonna bother looking up, sorry I'm lazy) and because it seems unlikely that Trell is Odium, and therefore red from someone else, maybe another Shard allied with Adonalsium's enemy.

This quote from your own post disproves the theory, though. If Odium was working with Cultivation, he would not fear exposing himself to a strike from Cultivation.

Stormlight has to predate Honor's splintering at least, as the Knights Radiant during the Desolations also used Stormlight, while we know Honor got splintered after the Recreance (after all, he wouldn't have been able to create a vision about the Recreance otherwise). Imo this thread provides very good reasoning.

WoB on highstorms predating Adonalsium's Shattering. And we also have in-universe reasons to assume that they do: All of Roshar's life has evolved to survive highstorms. Evolution doesn't happen in the few thousand years we've had since Adonalsium's Shattering, let alone Honor's splintering.

I don't know this for sure, but are there not reasons to assume that the Surges are deeply related to the Cosmere itself? Maybe the Surgebinding that destroyed Ashyn was this "true" Surgebinding, that probably allowed people to access all ten Surges, and then Honor at some point created a "safe" version that only allowed a Surgebinder to use two Surges. Which means that if someone at some point figures out how to use a Surge without Nahel Bond we're proooobably gonna be in trouble.

Yeah but the Stormfather isn't just a Cognitive Shadow. It is a Cognitive Shadow attached to a spren. Also, Timbre appears around Eshonai in Words of Radiance. That's where the whole theory of "Eshonai will become a KR" comes from; in the end, it turned out to be the other sister. Also remember that Venli sucks in Stormlight in her last chapter. How would Eshonai be able to provide that?
