  1. I feel like I read that but didn't internalize the implications properly Ngl the idea of elim self canibalizing has thrown a lot of my thinking for a loop. I was open to the idea of bussing being in play just because the Informant is leaking the info anyway, but the fact that the doc elims can keep the Informant in check means people probably aren't signalling to us as blatantly as I'd hoped they be. So that's lovely. Anyway, someone else make noise so I can evaluate you or else I'll just spin the wheel of equally likely possibilities
  2. Huh. Who knew! :D. (thank you for the assistance) Edit: now that we have one elim down, the remaining doc elim knows the other guy is the Informant. So why don't they just claim?
  3. I'm just saying you gotta give a reason if you're going to vote for someone. Otherwise it has no teeth JNV's theory of the case is that I am a doc elim: "Archer for now I dont really like the whole flashwagon thing and my current pet theory is doc elim thinking Faeries the Informat" Doc elim!Archer was looking around for who to start a wagon in and he opportunistically chooses Fae because he suspects they're the v!Informant. In reality, doc elim Archer would never think that because Fae was in the doc as well. The elim doc has two elims in it, and an anonymous Informant who can talk if they want. It's possible the elims in doc have guessed the Informant by their vocal patterns or something. But it's impossible the doc elim (me, in JNV's telling) guessed Fae is the Informant because Fae is their teammate. Aka the only person the Informant can't be. If I'm wrong about how the game is setup, lmk, but I went over this with TJ last round and I'm pretty sure I'm right. Anyway, JNV is confused in a way that a doc elim wouldn't be because they'd know Fae is a doc elim.
  4. It reads as them not understanding that Fae was a doc elim. That's an unlikely mistake for their teammate to make. Why would you do that, Drake voted for Fae! >:0.
  5. This comment makes little sense, implying pretty heavily JNV isn't the other doc elim Wanna pressure Drake? They've been playing how I expect an Insider to
  6. Why did I think you were voting them... Oh well, you can be my new suspect :D. *raises hand* It was meeee. I started the Fairie wagon. Please note that they were one of the doc elims. This argument makes no sense coming from someone who is in the doc so I'm gonna listen to my gut despite the circumstances. Stick JNV Note that this only extends to finding the second doc member, which we should absolutely be focusing on right now because two people know the answer to that and can help that wagon win. There's a deep wolf out there and I'm currently theorizing Drake. Returning to our EOD discussion, they ask why I blindly trust them. I've been reading them as being one of our informed, and was sheeping their Fae vote that they kinda subtly made early in the round. The fact that Drake decided to FUD that whole situation instead of considering that me, a player who loves sheeping confident people, might be doing that to him. It's odd.
  7. I'm not really ready to entertain an elim team of Fae + Bee or even Raven, which I'll admit is blatant meta gaming. I think Aman is the same style of poster as Kas and a Contact suspect, sure, but that anyone who was on at EOD saves them to be mixed based on their close ties to Fae. Take out people who voted for them. And I think that literally just leaves JNV. I can't even come up with a good secondary suspect to pursue.
  8. Yeah I know the whole 'being dead' thing makes it unlikely, but read that EOD and tell me it didn't look like they were paired :P. You could weave a narrative about how she messes up her vote and he not so subtlety gives her a reason to change it to the self pres she needed. I don't really see how anyone who was on goes through with the NK on Aman of they knew the flip that was coming JNV
  9. Ok so nice But are we sure it's not Aman? :P. I had a whole thing worked out where e!Faerie was basically a lock on him because of that EOD
  10. No, I have a history of sheeping people, Drake I want to kill Fae :(.
  11. Hey Drake, are you secretly the Contact or Insider? Why don't you announce it publicly!! Tbf that's something I'd ask, but it's not the best strategy
  12. I guarantee I misspelled it Faierie Best of luck on your IRL stuff btw
  13. Excuse me, I started this fairies trend. Or maybe I plus oned someone. Either way, them only showing up when under pressure is fundamentally a bad look so I'm okay with this
  14. Bah, now I'm not feeling Aman. Commitment to the bit seems a little forced, but it's a bit, and I like bits Anyone down for a Faeirie flashwagon?
  15. I was operating under the assumption that I was fairly readable as being a villager. But this feels legit. An elim would be watching for Insider candidates (and trying to save them, which opens up a can of TMI with the voting but whatever). I don't feel like e!Stick has the confidence that everyone else is e!reading me if they are faking their read, which means they don't pull out this argument. And if e!Stick is genuinely evil reading me, then they'd want to save me. stick Claiming village cred for gambiting isn't villagery
  16. Dangit, I was hoping you'd be filter killed. If you're theorizing the wagon on me is sus, then why are you hitting the person defending me? Yes we do. I can't believe you don't know that, everyone knows th- okay, almost everyone knows that :P.
  17. At risk of pocketing myself, it's less the substance of the story, and more that rather than working within the boundaries of the game, you step outside of it. I feel like elims are more likely to construct reasoning relating to the game, not relating to random outside variables. Like mattress shopping. Don't put too much stock into my Sart read because it's a known tell that his pattern is usually to open with a clean poke vote. Would be okay pressuring there if you'd like. I actually didn't mind the Faire voting either just because they managed to avoid commenting on anyone I cared about ,which is frankly hard to do
  18. Yeah but you'd spent most of your time talking to Bee today. My main theory was they don't know the secret elim (Insider? Informant?) so they have to kill obvious villagers. Kas was in that range by the end of it based on his passion. Also, I'm not sure you can accurately guess the Contact C1 anyway? In theory they're uninformed so they could be anyone. Thanks for your thoughts! I understand how you got to Raven, but for the sake of convenience, would you mind focusing on someone in your POE with a higher post count? ie me or Drake. I'll also accept commentary on Stick or Nigel. Thoughts on the so far, even gut? Aman undermines their ability to push me the following cycle with that comment. Whereas you were already setting up an additional target, keeping your options more open. The latter approach reads as more strategic to me. I'd be okay voting Aman if it came to it though. Aman, consider yourself voted for in spirit Sart entering with a poke vote is a good look for them. As is them reconsidering it. Highly fakeable, but the one time I played with evil them I can remember, they broke that pattern. That's... A valid point about Nel tbh. But I also read their mattress story as being super genuine. I give people a lot of credit for having stupid reasons for their behaviour/not preparing reasonable lies to obvious questions. Same principle as my Drake read.
  19. *squints* have some free village cred for being hard committed to a wagon and having put zero thought into how to explain it. E!Drake pushing me would have a plan/argument prepped My main Stick quibble is idk why they're focussed on Bee. It's too elaborate to be distancing, otherwise I'd call it e-e. Their stated reason is they want them to engage, but why not spread your poking around? Hit Fae, JNV etc. My best guess is stick is worried about Bee's vote, and is trying to engage with them to change their mind. That seems more evil than villagey an agenda to have to me. It's possible they're the Contact working from intel, but they're feeling them out, not arguing for their death necessarily.
  20. I'll bite, what's your reason Genuinely curious how comic sans helps the dyslexia because it doesn't turn into cs until you post if you're using coding to make it happen I'd also like to know the answer to this question
  21. SE meta is you give the elims some talkative people Ya go down the list of people with a rep for being talkative, and take out ones you trust like nial, and you get to me it's cute that you think I remember previous games :P. Either JNV votes this cycle and I can read that, or they don't and they die. Either way, that's an issue for later You're a villager because you stood up for your village reads at EOD you could have asked people to join you on that vanity (secretly a counter)wagon (to save Archer from an untimely demise)
  22. That wasn't cool, I could have died! Kneel seems like a goldilock villager I'll reiterate my village vibes from JNV for playing lowkey I feel like V!Stick is comfortable being the target of RBM's vote, seeing that that achieved the goal of getting them to do something. Moving toward suspicion of Stick here. Why didn't you vote RBM yesterday? (He asks, selfishly) I kinda feel like Drake is making the same meta game play I am by voting me (likely candidate for evil), and I respect it. Caveated by the fact that their biggest enemy just got NKed. Thoughts on that, Drake? Aman asking if I'd make it on for EOD was an olive branch they didn't need to extend. Free village cred for that I have one Sart tell and they triggered the village part of it. Plus they were unaware enough to vote me for bad reasoning, so seems villag So clearly it's Fae, Raven, Stick/RBM that can't be right Willing to swap Drake in instead
  23. Counterpoint, the rules are confusing and I didn't play last game or read it much of it stick aeoryi they're not pushing the pace all that much
  24. I had a theory about Informant!Kas trying to hint at e!Drake, but that doesn't hold up because he'd have to maintain his cover as a cooperative elim. Since Stick was C1ed last time, I was actually considering the opposite approach where I vote the most vocal person I don't village read. Probably Aeoryi. I'm gut v on JNV for doing their own thing. V!they like the shadows.
  25. bee stick stick got their pleasantries out of the way in the elim doc and jumped right into it without even saying hello JNV and Faire are their teammates because y'all posting at the same time Thanks for the explanation, evil drake
